What a trash app. Gave me a promotion, but could never get it to apply to the restaurant I was ordering from. And when I tried to get help on a livechat was just kept waiting for half an hour before I gave up and just made myself a sandwich at home

Terrible customer service!!! UberEats false advertises their delivery time. 10 minutes turns into 1 hour or more! Cancellations and refunds are nonexistent. Worst food delivery app!

Awful company. Driver stole the food according to restaurant and another uber driver. She was the 4th dispatched. 2 hours later I ordered by phone and picked up myself. Met 4th driver who said this happens another.

My Mom order through the app and the driver scammed her from her money. And stole our family of 6’s food. After she claimed that she was “new to this” and didn’t know her duties as a delivery driver. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed that people are so greedy to steal food from people and families and feel good about it. I will never understand why.

If you’re delivering go with DoorDash. Uber Eats sets you up for failure. Penalized you because their GPS takes you to a road that no longer exist. I reported a road closure during the storm and a tree fell down across the road. No one was getting by. I got a late drop off penalty and their gps again doesn’t update for you so you have to figure out your own way. They’ve sent me further south to a BK when I was at one just to come pass back by the area I was in to go further north. Customer and Drivers support is absolute garbage. I reported the dead stop road earlier and it wasn’t going to make “expected time” spoke with someone and they said I would be good and it wouldn’t count towards my percentages as it was recorded and he “updated” the expected time. Which was a lie. I’ll show a pic of them trying to send me south when I was right near a BK for them to send me back up past the area I was in.

If I could give this business a 0 star I would. terrible service, sketch drivers, and COLD food. I told them I was pregnant and couldnt risk getting sick so I waited for a hour and couldnt even eat it. They are TERRIBLE. Go to door dash instead. I haven't had these problems there.

Mother, a pensioner in her mid-70’s, had no food in the house on Saturday night so decided to treat herself to fish and chips. She placed an order online with UberEats using their website. The food never arrived and she was left without an evening meal, having to survive on cereal alone. The next day I visited for Mother’s Day, and she mentioned how hungry she was as her fish and chips failed to be delivered the night before. I remarked how popular that dish must still be in her area as I had just passed a fish and chip bag dumped on the road sign on the entrance to her close. It didn’t take long for me to put 2-&2 together, and I went back out to the road to take a closer look, and low and behold the idiotic driver had just dumped the food there AND…taken a picture of it sitting there in order to confirm delivery. No knocking on the door of the property it was to be delivered to, just dumped on the side of the road. Upon further investigations I worked out that there were two unknown calls on mother’s phone the night before, neither rang on her phone (she has an Apple phone and it asks for unknown numbers to tell you who they are and why they’re calling; the driver did not say anything nor leave a voicemail, which mother would have received and listened to whilst the driver was still outside). I’m going to assume the driver understood how to speak on the phone. So, I decided that we would submit a refund claim. And this is where it gets worse (if delivering someone’s food order to a road sign could get any worse). You cannot speak to anyone on the phone, or submit an e-mail, to make a complaint to UberEats. You must download their app, even though you ordered it online (when will companies realise that not everyone wants a phone littered with multiple apps, most you may never use more than once). So, we proceeded with this charade and could see the order, with the photo the driver had taken of the food sitting on the road sign. Unbelievable that someone would consider that as their “job done”. We raised a complaint through the app only for it to be shut down as ‘resolved’. Turns out they don’t reply to you on the app (yet they make you complain on it), they send you (or in this case my mother) an e-mail. In their official opinion, the driver only has to wait 7 minutes and then leave the food “…in a safe spot”, and they consider that leaving it on a road sign outside in the dark and cold and presumably hoping that the customer will randomly walk past it and realise it was theirs, is delivering it to “a safe spot”. So, they have rejected the refund request. We have of course appealed, and they have reiterated that the feel they delivered it correctly. Therefore, I would say that this was a fraudulent transaction carried out by a dubious organisation who have employed (on this occasion) an absolute idiot who presumably thinks this won’t be traced back to them as they are just a faceless delivery driver. We have reported it to the credit card company as a charge back claim. Avoid this company at all costs. They make it easy to deliver, they fail to deliver, they make it as hard as possible to complain, and then they reject your complaint on the basis that the food was left for you to find somewhere in the same post code.

They charged me 3 dollars after I added them to my McDonald’s bag. I probably won’t even get them. But this is awful. Disgusting company. I’m gonna keep complaining and will report this to my bank 🏦

A "fast" meal from Wendy's took an hour to arrive because the driver had to make other stops; obviously, everything arrived cold, and the Frosty was melted. Uber is getting more expensive, and the service is terrible

I got a careless person named Andrea that didn’t feel the need to communicate with me about an item not in store. Then she dropped my order off at wrong address when I clearly had it address in my instructions section as well to confirm it. The picture she took showed a bare door meanwhile mines my door have a wreath on it. I did tip her and that was the final straw for dealing with careless people like her. I don’t even know if she could speak English to understand. But why are you in that lane if you can’t understand people’s orders and addresses. It’s insane how Uber Eats take this stuff lightly. I reside in Louisville, Ky and it’s insane that this is happening all over the states. *sigh* I AM NEVER TIPPING AGAIN THROUGH THE APP!!! They always feel entitled about someone tipping but give you half ass service. All the deliveries I have had I am surprised Uber Eats didn’t see the difference from my door. Because when I requested a refund they sent me a picture like she delivered it yea she did but to the WRONG DOOR!!! Can’t miss a wreath on door and then to not follow instructions is deliberate!!! So it’s obvious Uber don’t give them a training of any sorts. This isn’t a job that you rush with!! This is people’s lives your taking into your hands to fulfill orders and make sure it gets them to them in reasonable time with everything there if possible if not communicate with the customer. NO MORE TIPPING IN APP AND I AM THINKING OF NOT DEALING WITH UBER ALL TOGETHER!!!! Ridiculous service.

Doesn't even deserve a star, deserves negative stars. Wont refund for a cancelled order and missing food items that I have been charged for but like to magically disappear into thin air from leaving the store to being delivered.

Extremely poor customer service. Uber does not properly manage the business hours of the restaurant. When we go to pick up the order we find out that the restaurant is closed Uber does not compensate the driver for their errors. When they do compensate drivers by asking for a supervisor they put a cap or limit to how much you can be compensated for and then they block you or lock your account so that you can no longer receive compensation for their screw UPS. So they're expectation is that the driver takes the fall spends their gas their time their effort the customer doesn't get their order and everybody's out except Uber. It's a shame because a year ago until they changed their format it was not a bad gig job. Now you're just left with frustration empty pockets and poor service for the customers. And on top of all of that when the orders come in for these customers they do not send the orders geographically that are close to the customer they will literally send them from 30 miles away when a restaurant is right next to where the customer lives. Which extends delivery times because nobody wants to drive that far to make deliveries for the low pay and then the customer is out either their order or receiving cold food

Today, I experienced a frustrating situation with my recent order from Uber Eats. Generally, I have had no issues with the platform; however, today was quite different. I inadvertently placed an order using my daughter's school address, and just moments later, I realized my mistake. When I attempted to change the address, the app began to glitch, forcing me to repeatedly tap the screen. Before I knew it, my order was marked as canceled. I called Uber Eats customer service and spoke with a representative, who then transferred me to a manager named Summer. During our conversation, both representatives informed me that I would still be charged for the meal, despite my clear intention to correct the address. They insisted that the restaurant had charged me for the order. To clarify the situation, I suggested that we contact the restaurant directly. Upon doing so, it became evident that the restaurant had not charged me; it was Uber Eats that initiated the charge. Ultimately, I had to walk to the restaurant to retrieve the food myself. This experience was incredibly disappointing, as I felt unfairly penalized for a mistake that was largely influenced by technical issues. I hope that Uber Eats can take this feedback into account to improve their customer service in the future, as this was my first negative encounter with the service, particularly due to the handling by the manager, Summer.

Terrible customer service, a driver stole two of my food items, and Uber would not do anything about it. They offered me a refund for one of the items but not both. They did not care about one of their drivers stealing from their customers. If you want free food, become an Uber Eats driver and just steal the food because Uber will allow you to.

Stole groceries! The receipt stated “delivered to” [an address that is not my address], and did not send a photo either. When it said he was arriving, I was minutes from my house and tried to call the driver to say that, because the number was different than the account it blocked me saying that. I was afraid he needed the pin and would drive off without delivering, so I sent a message saying I was minutes away and gave the pin, expecting he would still be unloading when I arrived, but when I pulled up-no groceries. The chat response said because I gave the pin, I “agreed” they were delivered. I gave the pin in a message that clearly said I was not there yet, but minutes away, so I could not possibly be confirming it was delivered because I was not there. Then chat refused to respond and said allow 6-12 hours to reply, last time Uber said that “6-12 hours“ bit, they NEVER replied, and NEVER resolved the issue (after charging for 12+ items—-only 2 were in stock, only 2 on the receipt, so obviously they could not have delivered something that didn’t exist in the store. They have a customer service number out there but it only says they don’t accept calls. I tried to call driver and was blocked again. No response to emailing support. Theft $71.00! Attorney general, BBB, her I come. Not to mention ADA violations as I have reported multiple times that ADA accommodations must be made when a disability interferes with the only option for assistance, chat and typing! They could care less!

Very recently, I placed an order with Uber Eats. They did not ask to confirm my address; I then assumed it would be too my phone where I was located. Instead they tried to send the order to an un-familiar address. I was able to cancel the order within 1 minute. After canceling the order I was told there was a $16.72 charge for canceling. So far I have been charged $22.70 for the meal and $16.72 for canceling the order for a total of $39.42 for an order that they tried to deliver to an unknow location. When I contacted Uber Eats about this I was told repeatedly, since the vender accepted the order Uber Eats was not responsible for their app sending it to the wrong address. This appears to be fraud since they did not confirm my address and only told me after the order was placed where it was going. Also, there was no warning that there would be an additional $16.72 for canceling the order.
