“I placed an order through Uber Eats for Insomnia Cookies, and unfortunately, the delivery never showed up. Frustrated and hungry, I reached out to Insomnia Cookies directly—and to their credit, they were really helpful. They acknowledged the issue right away and tried to assist the best they could. The real problem? Uber Eats. They’ve been giving me the complete runaround. No clear answers, no real help, and I’m still out of the money I spent. It’s beyond frustrating to deal with a company that doesn’t seem to care whether your order arrives or not. So while I appreciate Insomnia Cookies for trying to make things right, the overall experience was ruined by Uber Eats. If you’re thinking about ordering, maybe call the store directly or skip the third-party app altogether.”

“Uber eats is just as bad as door dash, they do not have a good support system for their drivers or customers, in fact they are horrible. No live support at all. And they ding drivers that have to cancel orders through no fault of the driver.”

“Uber eats is horrible. Drivers steal your food and then lie and say they are coming with the food and Will call when they arrive but never call or arrive. They also won't refund your money if you've waited for 2 hours or more for a driver to pick up food and deliver it and still make you pay for food u never received.”

“They send people way off half hour or more when the restaurant is .5 miles away, so then the food runs cold when it gets here.... I am scared to ask for certain restaurants worried that they may send the driver a state over to get it for me.... I had to take a nap waiting for food that was just 10 minutes away!”

“Too expensive for one thing, but far worse is that, in order to get cutlery, you have to check a box “somewhere” while ordering, or otherwise you receive none. The entire point of takeout is convenience. Sure, a lot of people are at home, but a lot more people (myself included) will be at hotels, or other places, whenever they use food delivery services.”

“Horrible company to work for they send you places and other drivers will pick it up before you then not compensate you for your time nor help you get another delivery. 3 freaking times in a row I accepted an order and got there and it was already picked up. 3 freaking times!!! 2 hours zero money. When you ask for a supervisor they lie to you and say it’s the highest level of support. Money is terrible tips can be changed after you drop it off”

“My Jimmy John’s combo arrived after a 40 minute wait without the large coke that I paid additional money for. I called Jimmy John’s and they said Uber Eats will not come out again without a paid food order. That is great customer service, you don’t bring what you were hired to bring and refuse to rectify the error. I will never use Uber eats or Jimmy Johns again.”

“Yoh i was charged twice 😭😭😭😭 the inconvenience, i need that money .... believe you me this is the last time i use uber eats ... i gave them benefit of doubt last time but now it is becoming a habit. I am officially done just waiting for my refund then i will be done with this app of theirs”

“My food was left outside on my porch. It had been there for 30 minutes. The driver never called or rang my bell. The bag was open and my food was exposed to the snow. When I called to complain, I was told I would get a credit but they are not honoring their word! Very disappointed!”

“They don’t stand behind the temperature if the food they deliver. I had to throw away an entire order that was late, cold and inedible. They only were willing to refund a missing milkshake from the order. And that only after 30 minutes of complaining. They don’t really listen to your concerns, they just try to get you off the phone.”

“I placed an order and the location was still set for a different state after I went on a trip. I placed an order and cancelled it within 30 seconds after it was placed when I realized the location was incorrect. UberEATS charged me for the full amount of the order and is refusing to provide me with a refund because they are saying the order was received and the status was "preparing". There is no way they were preparing the food within 30 seconds of receiving the order. The chatbot was useless and the customer service workers were rude and not helpful. These people are essentially stealing from me for food that never even started being prepared. I even offered to pay a cancellation fee, but they just kept telling me there is nothing they can do for me. I am deleting this app and they are never getting another penny from me. Terrible customer service.”

“I ordered kfc tonight from uber eats modbury. The driver asked me to sms him the code which i did he never showed up i checked with neighbours and around my garden no food. Tried calling he never answered . I contacted uber support and was told it wasn't there problem . I tried the app it said because I texted him the code I have my food and case is closed i don't know who else to contact. And didn't get my food and out of money .will never use uber eats again and will never recommend it to anyone unless they want to be out of money and no food order”

“I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Uber Eats. Not only was my order canceled without proper explanation, but I was also unfairly charged. When I tried to get help, the support was unhelpful and dismissive. It felt like no one cared about customer service. Honestly, I’m disappointed and will think twice before using this app again.”
