We use Uber several times per week. Today our good was delivered to Wells Fargo bank !!!! Instead to our house. I called the Uber driver - does not speak a word in English nor understand anything. Can’t even say which WF branch he delivered the food. Uber has no live person, just the worst AI. “Uber system” decided that we are not getting the refund. If I can give negative stars I would do it.

I had possibly the worst experience I have ever had as a customer. TL;DR Placed an order at one price with discount code. Was charged more than double that amount. Customer service have refused to provide a resolution and no longer reply to my polite requests for my complaint to be escalated. Search the reviews here and on trust pilot for "discount" and you'll see this has happened to lots of users. I placed an order for a grocery delivery with a £15 off voucher that they have been ramming down my throat for at least a year. I finally decided I would give it a try. My basket was filled and the final total with the £15 discount and the promotions on the products came to £12.61 (Or somewhere in that region). I confirmed my order and thought that would be the final payment amount or possibly with a slight adjustment if any items were unavailable. After the order had been delivered the total had more than doubled to £26.34! With the £15 discount applied! All of the individual promotional discounts had been disregarded despite all of them being shown on the order confirmation page where the final total was £12.61. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed the total would be adjusted once the money had finally come out of my account. That did not happen. Each time I contacted them I got a different person and they each sent me the receipt and marked the problem as "resolved". I've kept at them to actually investigate my problem rather than disregard and treat me like a simpleton who can't read a receipt! I will be cancelling my Uber One membership and never using Uber Eats again. I advise other people to do the same. Seek out any of their competitors as they are all better than this mess of a company.

I had a justifiable disbute with concrete evidence which I was suppose to receive a full reimburstment. But, my experience with Uber Eats customer service who represents the company as they repeat policy word for word. It was frustrating, disappointing, and not resolved. I conclude that Uber Eats lack intergrity and is dishonest. And, they sole goal is to keep your money regardless of the evidence of they made an error. I want Uber Eats to be investigated because I am positive that many others has had similar experiences. I will be willing to be on a class action law suit against Uber Eats. I now Rate Uber Eats 2. It has been a convenient resource yet they have abused their monopoly franchise which is sad.

Contacted Uber Eats regarding a current order. We ordered three meals, an appetizer and a bowl of soup. Each item was marked up $10-$12.00 above the restaurant menu price. I understand your a business and need to make a profit but that's extreme price gauging!! I contacted customer service twice and both times they could care less to assist me. Never again. Customers beware

Absolutely awful customer service refused to cancel an order that I placed mistakenly with a restaurant too far away. I called the restaurant myself three minutes after I placed the order and they stopped making it, but Uber eats kept trying to send the order through and sent two drivers there to pick up my order, even though that it had been already canceled I had to call Uber eats directly and even then they gave me a hard time. Never again. GrubHub take my money.

Driver delivered 3 of 7 items. Showed receipt he said he would go back to store and bring. Needless to say he didn't. I called and found out I had only an hour to resend the tip. I will never use service again! Driver was Amed.

My order never made it to me and they are saying it did and because of this I get no refund, $170.00, it was delivered but not to me. First and last time I use this garbage of a service! Hope that driver enjoyed my food. The app is not user friendly, you can’t track the trip or get updates like on the taxi service. If you reading these please don’t let this people ruin your peace just use DoorDash or any other service because they care for you!!!

This was my first time using Uber Eats. I ordered two burgers, two fries and a soft drink. The restaurant is literally 5 minutes from my house. I waited over an hour, and then I received a message from Uber Eats that my order had been cancelled - no reason for the cancelled order. Unfortunately I have a gift card, so I have to use them a few more times, after I use all the funds on the gift card I will no longer use Uber Eats.

uber eats drivers stole my order And vanished offline And I have evidence that it was deliberate The order was confirmed by the driver at the restaurant the driver took the order and was on her way but then stopped on a bridge coming down to Hertz car rental and went off the bridge going to towards 84th Street in the middle of the intersection and sat right there through out the minutes that past Me and a manager from Hertz car rental driver in a car rental went to the location to see if this driver was there but their car was nowhere to be found! I would ask for a refund and for this driver To be banned from uber eats etc and to never do this to other customers again! I contacted the store where the food was being prepared and and the women who answered confirmed that is was she who made the order and also confirmed that I uber eats driver who stole the food walked in and confirmed the order before picking it up and driving away . I pray to see justice here.

Customer service with Uber Eats is the worst I've ever encountered. Barely speak fluent english, do empathy or understanding of issues, and don't take ownership of any issues. Paid $3.99 for priority delivery. Driver went 3 miles in the opposite direction of my home - presumably to deliver another order - and my food arrived 30 minutes past the initial estimate. Tipping $8 additionally for nothing. The app didn't allow for some reason the tip adjustment within the hour window as promised and customer support refused to do anything about the issue. I'll be disputing the entire charge with my credit card as well as cancelling my uber account entirely. Pathetic excuse for customer service!!

The driver messaged, said the merchant was out of what I ordered, so I asked them to cancel it. I was charged $65! 65 bucks to cancel!! Why? Because they said the merchant had begun the order. Ummm, hello….how could they have if the merchant was out?! This service is a joke! And ripoff!! I will NEVER use them again!

BEWARE OF UBER EATS PROMO SCAM For a week I received a 50% off groceries promo on Uber. (See attached). I tried several times to use the promo without success. I was told TWICE by Uber to purchase my items at full price then contaxt Uber afterwards. I refused to do so and between doing research and more back and forth with Uber i was told the promotion was invalid. So they advertise 50% off, then it doesn't work, then they tell people purchase at full price then they ask you to contact them after the purchase and then tell the customer the promo they advertised was INVALID I am disabled and on a fixed incone, this was a disgusting attempt to steal money

I am writing this review the next day to remove the emotions of the moment. My pizza was delivered 30 minutes late and was stone cold. The driver walked away from me as I was talking to him. When I called, the local Giordanos manager was very professional, apologetic, and refunded my money. He also explained that they use Uber Eats as their delivery service. They have a history of problems with Uber Eats and their drivers. Uber Eats stacks deliveries from multiple restaurants. This creates multiple pickups, and multiple delivery stops without Giordano’s knowledge. This makes the Giordano’s delivery app useless as their estimated delivery time does not consider the drivers other, unknown to the pizza restaurant, activities. While Giordanos produces a quality pie and adheres to a positive customer service code, they fail in delivery service by using an inferior company, UberEats, as a subcontractor. I can not recommend that anyone order delivery from Giordano’s. You also might be cautious with other restaurants who use Uber Eats for the same reason.

I delivered an order to a customer who placed an order and left delivery instructions to leave the food at the front desk. The apartment building had a secured entrance. Front desk Personnel were gone home, Buzz the customer's apartment and no answer, throughout the entire process of the delivery, I text the customer and never received a response, while also providing customer with a countdown for my arrival, I called the customer from my personal phone and did not get an answer. Uber system also makes phone calls to the customer when you arrive if the customer selects hand to hand delivery. Which would make sense if you live in a secured apartment building. Now I'll be the first to admit, there are some problems with the system, but there's also problems coming from the customer's side as well. With a hand to hand delivery the system does not give you an option to take a picture. So I left the food outside the door. Customer chose to use the metric system to bully back by giving a negative rating. That is the customer's choice, I don't care, the fault is the customer's own. The customers are paying for the delivery because they don't want to go through the trouble of picking it up. Make no mistake! I paid for the gas, the tires, the oil, and the car note. What you paid doesn't replace any of that. And my time for waiting on your food, Uber does not pay me for. The least you could do, be at the door to get your food. If it's not important to you, what do you expect the drivers to do. Customers fail to turn on their porch lights, give the wrong addresses, don't list the type of drink (Coke Pepsi Sprite), are missing addresses on their homes, have unstable damaged porch steps, must I go on. The driver does not control traffic anymore than you do when you're driving. So before you start throwing stones in Your Glass House, take a look at yourself!
