The driver never arrived and they ask for a tip even before the food is delivered. I did give a tip on food that never arrived. I couldn't communicate with my driver because she didn't speak English. And my roommate had that same exact issue. Never using that service again unless I learn Spanish

I found a few things out recently. 1. they alter delivery times to justify your food "not being late" 2. they don't auto include promotions that you meet requirements to and its very difficult/impossible to do it after purchase if you realize its not added. 3. there app is hard to navigate and address issues with orders after its placed and make every action extremely difficult, that comes to altering orders, cancelling, including, viewing receipt, it feel as if they purposely made it difficult for patrons. 4.. there customer service department seems to also purposely puts long wait times to detour you from staying on the chatbot. and if you do get connected after a while, supposedly they're "not responsible for food temperatures" as a sole delivery service, thats interested. Like enjoy your cold for or melted ice cream LOL, and from my last convo, quality doesn't matter to them either. 4. the customer care services are absolutely horrible. every time I order something from Uber Eats, it comes typically 20 min past original delivery time, but now ive realized they can keep extending your wait time, essentially removing your ability to complain for being late and they can say it was "on time". The food has been cold countless times and I have put up with it. But recently the drink spilled a bit and sagged up the bottom of the bag, causing food to not be of quality and making it cold. I sent photos in the chatbot that supposedly after 20 min of waiting, loses the photo and you need to re submit to the agent unless they don't count it. I literally sent them a soggy taco and the brown bag soaked and they only refunded the taco and tried saying they don't have responsibility of their service they provide. they signed off without resolving multiple times, mid conversation. they're just not a good company. they're about money but not service. After all this I finally demanded full refund or I will not be using Uber Eats being that there's a bunch other alternatives. They refused and logged off. I made my oath. sticking to it.

I realize any order that’s between $80-$120 usually the Uber eats driver just drives around with your food or it takes forever to pick the food up so the food you get is food poisoning. And then when you try to talk to a real life person with a heartbeat you get an AI generated response and 30 minutes of trying to get a human being and then once you get the human being, you almost can never get a refund And it’s basically your fault because you used Uber eats and trusted them to deliver your food for you.

I keep getting missing items from multiple orders. Uber Eats don't want to hear it or do anything about it. They are not a trustworthy company.

This evening ordered a Meal from Mak Halal in Nottingham. I wiated at door for delivery then recieved a photograph saying enjoy your food. It had not been delivered. The pin highlighted driver was nowhere near my home. The photograph was of the driver walking in the dark. When i tried to call driver no connection allowed, tried calling Mak Halal no one answered. Then attempted to contact uber eats to get an AI response. Saying driver attempted to contact. already taken photos to show no phone call attempt was made by the driver. So out of pocket and without a meal. and from past experiences refunds rarely actually get processed

This has been the second time ordering food so I can eat at work. Both of those times I have not been given my food. I PUT IN THE RIGHT ADDRESS… this is unacceptable. There should be no reason why my order says it has been delivered when I haven’t even received it. Waste of time and waste on money, and refunds take 3-10 business days???? And now when you call for support the voicemail says that you’re no longer taking calls are you serious??? Get it together.

The fact that I can't contact anybody at Uber Eats to complain or discuss my account is ridiculous. You can't even chat online to a person. My order tonight to La Brasa went to 2 different drivers, arrived about 30 minutes late and was cold. When my yearly subscription is almost over I am going to cancel them.

Charged me over 50% of a cancelled order as a “penalty” eve though it was cancelled with 15 mins of placing it. Hope the $11 you stole from me was worth it because I deleted my whole account.

I was refunded 5$ for a 32$ order because I didn't cancel order in time,they didn't notify me that 2 of my main food items were not in stock !!!So I wasn't staring at my phone & didn't realize until I canceled order they basically stole $$ from me zero stars if I could give them ..customer service is a joke ...worst delivery company

I had a very bad experience. While in Puerto Rico ordered 60.00 of dinner for 2. The driver never arrived after I called her numerous times. I drop the payment.

This app is a joke. Uber Eats keeps blasting me with promotions, but the second I try to actually use one, everything falls apart. I tried to buy a burrito SIX TIMES. SIX. Every single time, the app happily let me get all the way to checkout, then the moment I hit “Pay,” it freaked out and told me I needed to change my payment method. Same card, same account, same result every time. If my payment method supposedly doesn’t work, don’t wait until the final second to say so. That’s not a bug—that’s terrible design. Then I tried calling customer support and sat there for 15 minutes with no one picking up. No help, no explanation, no fix—just wasted time and growing frustration. Stop sending promotions you won’t honor and fix your broken checkout system. Right now this app is misleading, unreliable, and a massive waste of time

Do not use Uber Eats, their delivery drivers do not deliver orders. They must not do good background checks on their drivers. HORRIBLE customer service too.

Ordered two pizzas from a restaurant. The restaurant called directly to inform me they didn’t have the necessary ingredients to make them, I asked them to cancel the order and they did. I then went on my Uber Eats app to find they charged me $52.48. When I told them that the order was cancelled in agreement with the restaurant, Uber said they will not refund,, that it is policy for them to charge for the ‘restaurant’s compensation for food preparation’ and ‘driver delivery time’. This is completely and utterly outrageous considering the restaurant didn’t make any of the order and no driver had gone to the restaurant yet when the order was cancelled in agreement. I can understand a $10 or even $20 charge but $52 is completely unreasonable and a complete scam when I got absolutely nothing in return. I’ve reported this to the BBB in addition to canceling my Uber One membership. From this point on, I will order direct through the restaurant, or Grubhub or DoorDash for delivery and will use Lyft for rides. I do not recommend Uber for anything at this point.

The app gave the wrong address for where I was located. The app would not let me edit it. Somehow the order went thru and the driver drove around looking for a nonexistent address. Then called me and I had already reordered w ski the dishes. When I contacted Uber they made me feel like an idiot. Totally dismissive. bye bye über
