I placed an order today through Uber Eats for pickup from a merchant. When I receive the order the order was incorrect. My order was missing items and the merchant refused to provide me with the item that was missing. I was told by the merchant that I would have to reach out to Uber Eats since I paid Uber Eats for the products. I reached out to Uber Eats and was told repeatedly via chat that I should leave a review for the merchant since I did not receive all of my items. I asked the representative in the chat whose name was George if there was any way that they could reach out to the merchant to get the item delivered or picked up. I was told that Uber Eats does not have any way to get in contact with the merchant. George kept telling me that my account was not available to receive an adjustment. I asked George what did that mean and he only stated that some accounts aren't allowed to have adjustments and that is their policy. He could not tell me anything other than that. I informed George that I want the missing item that I paid for and that I did not want a refund. George kept stating to leave a review on the merchant. I informed George that I paid for the items through Uber Eats and if they are unable to resolve the issue then I need to leave a review on Uber Eats not the merchant. George then ended the chat by stating I had already been informed of the reason why the adjustment is not able to be made. When the automatic chat question appeared asking if my problem had been resolved I selected no which put me in another chat with Swati. Swati stated she reviewed my account and would look into resolutions. Swati then put in the chat box the exact same messages that had been placed in the chat box by George. She also ended the chat stating that I had been given all of the available recommendations to resolve the issue. The only recommendation that was made was to leave a review for the merchant. That doesn't get me my item or money back. Other than being told to leave a review I was told that Uber Eats is unable to make an adjustment to the account. I informed each representative that I did not want an adjustment. I let them know that I was wanting the missing item. Uber Eats is good when there are no issues that need to be resolved, however, they are horrible when there is an issue with your order. I only use Uber Eats because it is a perk with my Amex card. Amex automatically deposits money into my Uber account monthly and it can only be used on the Uber app. Uber Eats up charges the products and foods that are listed on their site. They upcharge when you select delivery over pick up by about $10. I recommend using the apps that are provided by the merchant opposed to using Uber Eats.

You place an order, 3 drivers cancel on you wasting 2 1/2 hours of your time, and you can’t get a hold of anyone. They cancel your order and go mute. Don’t even give you anything for your inconvenience. Crappy service

Order was incorrect. Uber eats resolution was: Our policy doesn't let us issue a refund, nothing we can do. Isn't this a form of theft? I paid for something, didn't receive it and the money stays with them? That's theft in my eye.

I received the wrong order on yesterday by uberEats driver. I ordered 3 entree order called big plate from Panda Express. The driver delivered a complete different order costing less than what I paid from a complete different company (Grubhub). This company’s order had less items than what I ordered from uberEats and was cheaper. I sent pictures of receipt just as ubereats asked and they refused to do anything about it. This is so unacceptable.

I ordered food from Panda Express yesterday through Uber eats and the Uber eats driver delivered the wrong order from Grubhub instead of the food from UberEats. I complained because the Gtubhub order had already been cancelled a while before uberEats order and was not the same exact order. In fact, I paid more for the uberEats order and ordered additional item that I didn’t receive. I complained and they did nothing about it. I sent them a picture of the receipt and they still did nothing. This was ordered through their Postmates company app. These people love cheating people out of money.

What a terrible experience! I placed an order over 2 hours ago and the driver finally showed up at my door, but pretended not to understand where he was or speak English. He had my food, according to the app(uber eats) and but just left pretending not to know where he is. Meanwhile, the payment went through from my account. This was an absolute waste of my time and money. I would give zero stars if I could. Throughly disappointed by this experience and would not recommend anyone use Uber eats.

Customer support is the absolute worst. They copy and paste the same answers and don't address the actual issue and then end the conversation midway when they feel like it. Rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. No, the issue was not resolved and a new rep does not help-it repeats the problem or makes it worse. UberEats estimated delivery times are also way off sometimes. It'll say 30-45 mins and immediately upon placing the order it becomes 45-75 mins. It's automatically late! With almost any issue, consumers can only report the blame on the restaurant or the delivery person when it's actually Uber themselves. Even with the UberOne membership, we're still paying a lot in fees and SO many restaurants/stores are not part of the membership! Everything is a rip off.

As long as everything is good with your order the app is fine. But if something goes wrong like not getting your full order good luck getting any support. I spent over $80 I did not even get my entrees and Uber only reimburse me $5.00. You can't get up with anyone on the uber eats side at all. I lost alot of money and will not be using this app again.

I had a order delivered a few weeks ago, the lady apologised but the sauce from 2 dishes were in the bag. I will not be using Uber eats again . Tried complaining on the day it said I couldn't .

I received a food order with a roach crawling within my food (photos were submitted as proof). The food was discarded and Uber Eats agreed to refund me for the issue. However, I only received half of the refund. I attempted to reach out to them for the next couple of days, and it wasn't until the third day that that they responded. I spoke to one of their representatives named "wolf" who informed me that, since 48 hours had passed, they could no longer make the remainder of the adjustment (refund]. He then kept repeating the same statement to my inquiries and ended the chat without resolution. At that point. I decided to go with a different delivery service for my food deliveries, going forward.

Disgusting service!!!!!!!!! they didnt have drivers available and therefore my food came 2 hrs late and it was cold, soggy and hard. and no one was helping me with refund or anything they didnt care , no customer service, DO NOT USE THEM

I have deleted my app for them. They are the worse. I ordered a meal that included two drinks. The driver came without the drinks saying duh, call them and they can return your money. I really wanted the drinks but I did ask for my money back for the drinks and the outsourced agent said no. So I go no drinks and no refund. I asked for a manager and got nothing. I’ll never order from them again. Never! Not only do they not provide a great service they do not have competent staff. Drivers not agents. The receipt said two drinks.

I recently ordered a meal for my family using Uber Eats. The delivery driver only delivered part of the order as they left the rest of the order at the restaurant. I called the restaurant to see if the rest of my order was still there and they confirmed it was. I attempted to contact the Uber Eats delivery driver and they didn’t pick up the phone. I then request help for the partial delivery via the get help support option, let them know that part of the meal was missing from the delivery, and they proceeded to give me an automated response telling me the order isn’t eligible for refund. I reach out to them again the same day of the issue and they respond to me the next day saying they can only review the matter further if I attach a receipt and a picture of the order received. Why didn’t they ask me for a picture as soon as I reported the issue?How can I provide a picture of the order the day after the issue took place? I send them a picture of the receipt and they respond saying because the delivery matched the order it isn’t eligible for a refund. The delivery didn’t match the order though, it was incomplete.

Horrible company. The driver never stop at my house never came to the door and then I got charge cancelation fee. One other time one of my bags was open do not use this company.

My delivery was delivered to the wrong address. The people took the food and. Would no longer answer the door. I first contacted the driver who admitted she delivered to the wrong address (a brick home and my home is white vinyl). I contacted customer service and got no refund or money back because it was delivered. I will never use this app again. And looking at these reviews I am not the only one.
