“I like the idea they can get any magazine, and it's posted in two days, sometimes the next day if ordered in the morning. The only negative point, is the magazines are too expensive, some are twice, or even three times the normal price in shops.”
Hi, Thanks for the mention of our efficiency! I understand there may be confusion on the costs of our single issues and subs. First of all, we are not publishers and therefore, must get our magazines from stockists. Then, we must consider the cover price of the magazine, weight for postage, packaging and profit as a business. Royal mail has increased their postage costs therefore, we have had to take action from our end to cover this also. Stores are able to provide magazines for the cover price alone rather than with all the additional costs, as they do not deliver them directly to customers doors. Hi, I am sorry to hear this! Upon checking our tracker email system we have gotten no previous contact regarding your subscription. I have checked on the order with my manager, as I could see it was all set up correctly and selected for the current issue which we had and have in stock. I can see it was not active which we have changed yet the order would still not drop in naturally. We have been able to manually create a label and get the first issue of your sub sent this afternoon for you. The next issue of your sub is due the 8th of December and I have made a note to ensure it goes on this date.

Hi, When you placed this order online, you selected issue 60 which is due on the 8th of December 2022. This magazine is due for publish on this date and we will be sending it the same day with 1st class postage. We would expect it too arrive the next day but please allow the maximum of 7 working days for delivery before reporting the issue as missing.

Hi Sorry to hear this. I can confirm prices have increased in accordance with the increase of many things now, including the Royal Mail which is the service we send our magazines with. We are a business that must consider this and in order to provide our customers with amazing service and still make profit, means price increases are a necessity yet something that is difficult to action. We must consider the magazine cover price, postage (1st class for single issues), packaging and weight to ensure the cost is accurate.
Upon checking other online newsagents, our prices match and in some cases, are much lower than our competitors depending on the magazine itself.

Hi, Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, there is not much else we can do in this case. We send magazines a day earlier than stores get them, to ensure magazines get to customers in time for Saturdays listings. We also send them using 1st class postage, which is the fastest service we can offer for subscriptions. We can compensate for missing issues as long as they are reported by the Monday after the listings begin however, we have no record of you contacting over missing/late issues so we were unaware this was happening. Hi, Thanks for your feedback this is really useful! With single issues we are usually able to send in the same packaging quite easily, using 1st class postage and tracking. We have a system in which we can send sub magazines together, despite them all not coming in on the same day. If you were to renew your sub let me know and we can hold magazines back sending them all together on a Thursday.
Despite this, postage would still need to be paid due to the weight of the magazines together.
