Tried to sell my samsung s9 plus and after inspection received a lower quote. Asked to return my phone, after 2 weeks finally got it missing the original box and accessories. I expected everything I sent to be returned. Bad service

First they sent me a phone with massive software issues, a laggy touch screen, and terrible speed. I fixed it myself by restoring the phone using third party software. I made sure to protect against damage with the 90 day warranty. I have been trying to contact them the entire day to ask about their 90 day policy, and have yet to hear a single response. I am extremely disappointed and will make sure to keep others away from this website.

The whole process took far more time than similar services I've used in the past. From start to finish it took 21 days and when I was finally paid it was via an e-check that I had to print and when deposited was subject to a hold because my bank (Wells Fargo) needed to verify its authenticity. The few dollars more that I was paid for my device by using UpTrade v other companies was hardly worth it - never again!

Hi Mark, We value your feedback as we try and make our process truly transparent for all of our customers. We do have an option that is paid much quicker that you may have missed. You chose the 14 day option which means the check is not provided until 14 days from the time your device is accepted. This provides a higher payment, but we do realize that time is sometimes more valuable than money. This is why we offer a 24 hour turn around payment after passing inspection. Hopefully you will give us another shot in the future with this alternative payment option. We appreciate you testing our our platform nonetheless. Best Wishes.

I placed an order on July 9, 2020. I received a confirmation on July 9, 2020 at 9.34am. On July 9, 2020 at 11.02am my order had been processed. I have heard nothing back since July 9, 2020. I texted them on Tuesday July 14th at 6.06pm and I have not heard anything about my order. I have called, emailed and texted for the last couple days with no response.

Sent phone in on June 11th to sell, on July 6th still have not received payment or any further correspondence past we will notify you once we receive it. It was shipped via fedex from the label that they had provided. If this company truly cares they will reach out to me via a phone call and make things right

The phone I bought wasn't unlocked and Verizon couldn't connect to my account. Waste of money and i will never buy a phone from upgrade again

Phone took 11 days to arrive. I had to buy another. I would NEVER recommend this company. I needed a phone quickly which was promised but it came so late. Totally disappointed

The phones front camera was broken when I got it, it is unable to connect to the network, and can only b used on wifi. Contacted customer support, and never heard back.

Our records show that the device you ordered was listed in the lowest condition of "Fair" and you were informed of the visible scratches on the screen prior to purchasing the device. We do allow devices to be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. This was an awful experience. I received my phone much later than expected although when I called I was able to get a refund. However, once that was taken care of, my phone was described as compatible only on the sprint network. I went to sprint bought a SIM card kit as well as a plan for 60$ and then came to find out that this phone was not compatible with sprint.

You originally chose an AT&T device, meaning it will only work on AT&T networks. Hi Christina, we have filed a claim with USPS and they have shown proof that the device was delivered. We tried to work with you with no success. You did not want to move forward with any communication with USPS. This make it difficult for us to be able to help you. If you reconsider, we would be more than happy to help.

There were issues with the phone I wasn’t expecting though the phone still performs all the functions with no issues. A busted speaker and lack of consistent haptic feedback on my home button were disappointments though not surprises at this price point. It just would have been a bit better to have (at least the phone speaker issue) upfront knowledge. I additionally had to buy a brand new phone after I dropped this one and the screen busted under a screen protector in a case. Will not recommend this company.

It took almost a month to get our phone. I called to complain and they accidentally put a regular shipping label on instead of express. They said they would credit me and never did. They were also going to compensate me in another way and said would call me back within the hour. I, of course, got no phone call back

Buying the phone was great. Shipping a little slow. Biggest downfall. Phone had a recall and can not be updated so there for it is useless. Very disappointed. A lot of money wasted for a phone that is not useable.

1/14/2020 ordered a phone, website didn't seem like it worked correctly (didn't redirect to the confirmation page), but my credit card was charged. I called and they didn't have a record of my order, so after a few days they refunded my money and I ordered another phone - this time my credit card wasn't charged. When I called they said, "we're having technical difficulties". They put the phone I wanted on hold and said they would call back. Two days later I called and finally got the phone ordered 1/21/2020 The representative (on the phone) said he would rush it and it should arrive by Monday 1/27/2020. Monday came and went and it is now Friday 1/31/2020 and still don't have a phone. I contacted them again and their response was "USPS Parcel Select generally takes longer to deliver to its final destination and I do apologize for the delay. " USPS tracking shows it arriving on 2/3/2020.

My experience was awful. I find it very hard to Express the disappointment and sadness your establishment has caused my household. It is now thirty minutes passed midnight, on Christmas Eve. I am a single father of an exceptionally deserving, amazing 13 year old girl. My daughter wanted one thing, and one thing only from her father this Christmas. An iPhone X. I struggle ever single day to provide my daughter with what she deserves. I did absolutely EVERYTHING I could to come up with the money to give my daughter what she deserves. I gave my very last dollar to you people. I ordered the phone on Wednesday the 17th. Priority Shipping. Now its about to be Christmas morning, I CAN NOT sleep. Because I gave my money to you and I have absolutely nothing for my daughter on Christmas morning.

I ordered in time for Christmas. I paid extra for expidiated shipping. It said 1-3 days. They called to tell me that it didn't go out on time because of how busy they are. They said they sent me an email stating that processing can take up to 5 days. Of course 5 days doesn't equal 1-3 days and 5 days of processing wasn't stated when they advertised to me. Now, I won't get my daughter's Christmas present until after Christmas unless I pay an additional $71 for overnight shipping. Of course, they won't pay the difference for their error. No, I have to pay for their mistake if I want it on time. DON'T ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOUR ON A DEADLINE!!

Uptrade is a bait n switch scam! Do not resell your phone to them. Similar to other reviews, uptrade received my phone and proceed to indicate that there were several problems not present prior to sending. This includes a scratch that was shown in the unpacking video AFTER the individual rubbed the screen/phone numerous times with an apparent cloth. Additionally, they noted that the phone was further damaged and not working. Nonetheless, during the unpacking video the individual dropped the phone! They then did not provide documentation or proof of the phone not working, although the video showed it turned on and began working. This is all concerning and why I ensured to video and document the condition of the phone prior to sending. Therefore, it is my feeling that their “analysis” is an attempt to ensure minimal payment, while they also physically demonstrate their own poor practice (dropping phone, rubbing with cloth prior to documenting appearance). Finally, upon contact, I was never followed up with by their support team. Poor, poor, company that should never be utilized if you hope to obtain the most ethical and appropriate services.
