Since I don't see a way to edit the original review I posted about a week ago I will write a completely new review and hopefully someone seeing this one will look up my original one. Bottom Line: I am lowering my rating from 5 to 2 stars. In my original review I praised the US Mobile rep for answering all my questions. In the week or so that I have had the service I am satisfied with the overall service quality and data speeds I am getting. Although not perfect, you also have to consider that it is an MVNO and they don't actually own the network. My biggest reason for downgrading the rating from 5 to 2 stars is my plan rate going up suddenly from one month to the next without any prior warning. Another concern is that the rate went up 3 days after I signed up and the rep gave me no warning about it even as I questioned him about the cost and making sure there were no hidden taxes or fees. I think an unannounced rate change 3 days after you sign up qualifies as "hidden". To be fair, even with the rate increase, the overall value proposition is still there given the plan specifics and limits. However, the way in which it was done is not good customer service. I might not have been as upset with a $10 monthly increase that was disclosed ahead of time as I am with a $4 increase that I was not warned about.

Your support team is great! However, your website, trial, and sign up, is shady AF. Let me explain: 1) 2-3 days before my trial expires, you execute a $40/month charge. (unlimited plan). That is 100% shady. 2) I clearly did not want this, so I changed my plan to the $10/month (2GB shareable plan) 3) Somehow your UI created 3 pools of $10 and charged me for that too! More shadiness. This was during my changing the subscription, and expiring the trial. You guys ought to fix this. 4) I frustratingly now had to contact your support team. 5) Without your good support, I would have exited your service immediately, and put in some really really bad reviews across social media. Please take this to heart, I'm sure I'm not the only one that has experienced this. thanks.

Ali, the customer rep went out of his way trying to help me with a problem on a new phone from US Mobile. He tried for 4 hours with no positive result. Phone was bad out of the box. Only recourse was to return the phone to US Mobile but it would take at least a week to "check" the phone and return it to me.....the fine print in the return letter stated that I must accept a restocking fee of 50usd if they could not find anything wrong with the phone. This is the same phone they sell for 38usd on their website. I closed the account, returning the phone and contacted my Credit Card to stop payment on all charges from US Mobile. Extremely poor USA customer service as there are NONE!

Its a shame. The customer support of US mobile used to be the best. Apart from the prices it was the only reason why I was with the company, but now it has become just like any other customer service. They shouldn't be advertising the 24/7 customer support anymore they fix it! You used to be able to dial customer support and instantly connect to a live competent person. Now you gotta wait 30 mins! It's ridiculous! And that's not it, the reps that you speak to are also not like they used to be. It's like a completely uninterested person is running it now! Is the company going out of business or what? The combination of the wait time, the incompetent rep I spoke to and the service not working made me port out all my lines. I'll be more than happy to comeback if the things go back to the way they used to be.

Zakria was a very helpful US Mobile tech and did all he could to get my phone to work but he couldn't get it to work. A friend of mine suggested to setting the phone to factory default setting and everything worked fine after that. Hopefully Zakria sees this message, so he can add this to his technical advice.

great service, great prices and always helpful untill i met ms Omema. that she didn't even waste a min to ask me about my number to look at my account before she answer my question. and when she checked she gave me some poor information. she ended the chat with out hearing me back . never had any bad experience with this company till i met ms omema .

The Person taking care of the issue did a good job but the system is garbage. To transfer from using t-mobile to verizon requires the number to be ported and you lose any data, min, or texts you purchased. Thats nonsense. They can just add it back to your plan.

Not a happy camper. Before I started said my galaxy note 4 was compatible. But after I got chip and started process said it wasn't and had to try their other chip and sign up for service before I could find out out if worked. On checkout page they gave me total with added 2 bucks in taxes...sent me an email with a confirmation code that I would need to enter to complete transaction.... Got email but said order was placed but added another $2.15 more than what was quoted....AND phone would not work....cancelled right away..very bad experience fore me.

They offered a promotion ($25 credit per referral) and changed the terms after I had already referred a number of people (switching it to $10). They refused to honor the referrals I had already signed up, saying that they changed their policy and they had no obligation to give me the promised credit for the people who had already signed up, which is clearly false advertising. Beyond that, the service has been spotty and intermittent, despite us being in an area with a good amount of Verizon coverage. We will be switching back to Ting.

US Mobile did not make me happy. I called for a new number bc I was getting calls and texts from unknowns since signing up a month or so ago. I also told USM that I live in Mass but was given a NH area code, and would they please make my new number a Mass area code. Received new number in an email; it is another NH area code number. WTF?

So far, not good. Porting process has taken almost a week. Promised 24-48 hours. Both sides are blaming the other side. I had to buy a pre-paid card to hold me over.

Area Code 787 is from Puerto Rico and Puerto Rico is part of the USA. Puerto Rico is NOT an International but considered Domestic
