Bought the pre-painted front spoiler and splitter for the T6. Overall I am happy with the result but... there were no instructions. I requested some and they sent scans of what I imagine are the OEM version, not theirs because it was a little different. I did find a video online for a very similar product and used that, which helped. The spoiler itself was very tight so made it difficult to fit but with a little fettling, I got there. My biggest disappointment though is that the front parking sensors constantly go off despite being lined up with the holes in the spoiler. I asked for advice and was told they had never had the problem before and I need to somehow move the sensors so that they are proud of the new spoiler... How am I going to do that? None of the pictures I've seen online show the sensors proud of the spoiler holes.

I have never given a negative review until now… I purchased replacement number plate lights and discovered when they arrived that they don’t come with screws and the design is such that whilst they look nice they are not the same shape as the originals which could lead to water ingress etc. I approached the company and it took 3 different people and 3 emails to get my point across, only to be told it’s how they are and the old screws will fix them in place (they don’t because the new lights are not recessed like the originals and therefore renders the old screws too short and proud of the lights.. why would I want that? And who would want to use the old screws that may be corroded etc? Their resolve was to send them back if I wasn’t happy… my resolve is write this review to say how disappointed I am in this very poor quality control issue in what seems to be around an inferior product passed off as quality. Personally I’d have at least apologised for this lack of care to a customer. A waste of time and money on my part. I won’t send them back because, as an engineer I can make them work but why should I have to? Poor design and attention to detail has lead to this review… I’ve enclosed the pics of the originals and the replacements.

Good morning Joe, Many thanks for your feedback. In our product description on our website it does state Box Contents: 2x LED Rear Number Plate Lights and they are a direct replacement for the original lights. They allow the use of the old screws. If you are not completely happy with the lights you can of course return them to us as previously discussed with our customer services team, just follow the link on your email that you had received from us. Initial encounter with Vee Dub was brilliant. Very informative information from queries I had. Prompt attention to my order and delivery with 2days. There were however the fixings that were supposed to be included were missing. This again was dealt with promptly and the missing items put in the post promptly. That was over a week ago and the missing items still not arrived. This is probably due to the postal strike action at the moment. Disappointed that the fixings were not included in the original dispatch. Without the fixings the spoiler can not be fitted. Just a small oversight which spoilt the whole experience for me.

Postage todo called rural areas out of date and Customer Services dismissive. Postage was charged at 3 times the actual cost. Headlight switch was great and simple to install even if you had no skills. Not as tight a fit as an OEM part but for the money still great value. Shame about postage policy as will not recommend based on my experience and buy elsewhere.

Unfortunately due to where you are situated being the remote part of Scotland and we dispatch on a tracked service via Royal Mail the cost is reflected, this is also shown once you have added your goods to the cart before checking out. Not at all impressed by the couriers used for delivery ! The first splitter arrived broken . A replacement was offered and I requested that this would be delayed as I would be away for a week . Unfortunately it was sent anyway and the courier left it out in the open in snowy conditions ( despite courier advice stating that if I wasn't there they would leave a note for me to rearrange delivery ). By the time I returned home the parcel had been sitting out in snowy/blizzard conditions for five days .

Good afternoon David, Royal Mail is one of our main couriers, we are expecting that a significant amount of deliveries will be affected by their industrial action, unfortunately this is out of our control. We are unable to process your order through their system any quicker. Their Strike Dates at the end of last month were 24/11 / 25/11 / 30/11 / 1/12, they also have future strike dates of 9/12 / 11/12 / 14/12 / 15/12 / 23/12. We anticipate that this will impact our customers orders/ tracking detail(s) for a number of weeks. Whilst some of our customer have received their goods on time or with a lesser delay, a small number of our customers have experienced more lengthy delays. We ask for your patience and understanding while Royal Mail work hard during their strikes to ensure that our customers receive their orders as quickly as possible. VW T4 full curtain kit; Excellent product at a fair price. Communication issue, I requested to collect item as I'd be passing the depot the day after I ordered however I received 4 emails stating that DHL had my parcel and supplied me with a tracking number so I left it as I didn't want a wasted journey, left it a few days then gave them a call to see what was going on and after a few minutes they informed me that the person picking the order hadn't read it correctly so when they realised this they cancelled my delivery but failed to let me know. So had to make a 2 hour round trip from home rather than the 30 minute detour off the M1. Not what you want on a Friday in a 2.4 T4 !!!

To be fair most of the products are pretty good quality. My most recent purchases were a genuine VW tray for the back of the seat and an infill logo for my back door badge. No complaints about the quality of the former but the infill logo is way over priced as was the £3.99 postage to put it in an envelope and send it. They insist on using the Post Office to send things. The tray took a week and a half to arrive and the logo a week, both of which were sent 48 Tracked (Joke)

We have taken a look at your order and can see that you placed your order for your rear badge inlay on the Friday after our cut off point, your order was processed and shipped out on the Monday via Royal Mail 48 Tracked in a hard back envelope, we use these envelopes for certain products just as we use different couriers for different products as the smaller items can get lost with the other couriers. With regards to the delay on your order for the table, again unfortunately due to Royal Mail, we can see that you were refunded your delivery charge of £11.99 Unfortunately we are in the hands of the couriers and the delay in you receiving your orders was due to Royal Mail.
