Horrible, Horrible Customer Service. I purchased a laptop with the Office 365 Bundle. Upon recieving my laptop 2 days later than the delivery date i immediately noticed it was not issued with the Office 365. I got on the phone to customer service and the first of 9 representatives was just WOW. Her response to my query was 'what do you want me to do' to which i in shock replied 'your job' after which she read my product description and tech specs in response of my query. In frustration i thanked her for the 16 minutes of premium call time from my phone time which she interupted and "kindly" reminded me it was 12 minutes. The chase up went on for 2 weeks and 8 stressful phone calls with constant promises from very to call back which never happened. After 2 weeks, a hefty phone bill, anxious waiting, rude advisors i finally found one representative who told me that my purchase didn't include Office 365 to which i outlined that on my order and online it DID and maybe due to correction on the website no longer states it and was willing to provide my order but still was not willing to assist me any further. Moral of the story, stay clear of Very if at all possible.

Do not deal with this company. Its customer service does not exist and you have to chase and chase them up over everything. They charge twice for items and its down to you to get your own refund. They apologise continually but never actually do anything and then they actually put incorrect information on your credit report and deny it. You again have to chase them up to keep putting THEIR own errors right. Will never deal with this company again.

Ordered a washing machine on the 22nd January and showed delivery on 29th January 2016. It then changed to delivery on 5th February. Husband stayed in all day waiting but it did not turn up. Rang customer service five times, who were absolutely shocking and totally unhelpful. They were unable to tell me where the washing machine was, who the dispatcher was or when it would be delivered,only that it may be lost. Then tried to resolve on the chat line, they were also unable to help other than to say someone would be in touch with the information. But to date have still had no communication. I then sent a facebook message but they explained they cannot deal with this sort of enquiry due to security. I will most certainly never order anything from the company again, the Customer Service is shameful. I work in Customer Service and would most certainly have been sacked by now if I treated customers with such contempt.

Dear fellow consumers (hopefully not via Very.co.uk) I cannot implore you all enough to read the similarly (but unsurprisingly tragic) experiences faced by customers and to at all costs avoid the absolute travesty that calls itself "Very". I am in total agreement with previous reviewers that 1 star is an incredibly generous feat for these people. Having ordered the COLOGNE GLOSS 4 DOOR wardrobe from the website, we were informed that we could expect delivery upon a particular Saturday roughly 2-3 weeks away between the hours of 10:30am & 12:30pm. 7am we receive a phone call informing us that our delivery had been terminated due to "staffing issues" and would therefore be delivered the following day (Sunday?!) between the same hours. 7am once again comes-a-calling followed by the incredibly gracious & warming welcoming message from one of the couriers... "Good luck putting this up, bruv". After said wordsmith and his companion had left the building I noticed that the boxes were labelled 1 of 3, and 2 of 3. Looking back at it now, the gentlemen with the linguistic skills of a potato could well have been trying to warn me of the impossible task of putting up a wardrobe with several pieces missing. Then came the numerous phone calls to the appalling customer services team at Very who couldn't even seem to grasp the notion of even using the phones they are employed to answer (one of which even found my problem quite amusing!) Several hours of calls across the week finally lead to confirmation that the remaining piece to the wardrobe jigsaw would be delivered within the next 10 days. However 3 days later, upon yet another sunday, Very have now informed me that said missing piece isn't actually available, forcing me to cancel my order. If indeed the remaining piece isn't available, then surely this particular piece of furniture isn't actually available anywhere? I also feel for the lonely wardrobe knowing that it will never in it's life know the feeling of full assembly or completion (like Nicholas Cage never actually being Superman - true story). Overall, I would rather lose a testicle than deal with this incompetent band of retards again and I sincerely hope you all do the same. Good day, Bruv

Customer service is pathetic. The service line is in some foreign country and the operatives are almost unintelligible. Been waiting 2 months for a refund, still not arrived. If you order from this company, make sure it will be O.K. or prepare for a long and fruitless journey getting a refund

I dont know why I did not read these reviews before ,I ordered BEKO American Fridge freezer,new but got used one full of mould and scratches,will contact them in the morning

not happy with very at all... i ordered a wardrobe and there was parts missing so i rang many times but no one couldget through to parts department and they would tell me i will get a call back... heard nothin for two weeks... then when i finally did get in touch they said they would give me a £25 refund and its been 9 days no refund given... not happy at all they lie to you

if it was possible to give no star i would give none the customer service do not deserve and such thing as a star.. this useless company VERY has sold me an item that is completely different from what was put online. i thought i was buying something but it ended up been different. i would not be surprised if VERY does this type of fraudulent transactions with lots and lots of customers who aren't aware. i only found out when it was time to use the device. i have a copy of what was sold to me the details of the item. i then tried to match it up with my online transaction history this turned out to have been removed from my account history. i then call the customer service team who told me they do not have any information about what was sold to me. i then demanded to speak to a manager, the agent then told me its not a valid reason to speak to a manager and kept me on the phone for about 30 minutes and then cut me off. if this type of practice is still allowed to have an impact on your credit rating, then something is seriously wrong somewhere.

very is great if you buy named brands such as river island or lipsey but with anything else it is an absolute joke, i spend alot of money on very and near enough everything ive bought has got a rip in or has broken after about 3 days i will only use very for brands i know for anything else its absolute rubish

Never use Very. It seems like a great way to spread the cost but I returned 8 items over the course of last Christmas, when the company Very use came to collect them I asked for a receipt and the man just walked of. Because of this Very are refusing to remove these items and have left very threatening voicemails. Before this I also returned a small item but did this through click and collect, I lost the receipt myself. Very have since said that they do not keep any files regarding customers returns which I wrong because they will have proof an item returned back in stock. The customer service team are rude and the arrears team are threatening, but I am not backing down.

I don't even know where to start, absolute hell.. I have been contacting their customer service team for three solid months, false promises, false charges... emails getting me nowhere, no replies at all... I have sent over 20 and not received one reply, phone calls get you nowhere, they just cannot wait to get you off the phone.. I consider myself to be a valued customer, I have a lot of money spent on my account. After three months I am just waiting for a reply. Outraged to say the least, dissatisfied and upset. As far as delivery goes, fabulous... delivery comes within a day and the website is great. Be very careful! How do they get away with it? FCA regulated? Tasha.

Ordered a condenser dryer, website so temperamental and user unfriendly and got my delivery address wrong. Had to redirect my item on the day, apparently Very.co.uk don't even communicate with their delivery company Arrow XL. Called Arrow XL numerous times about my delivery and they just kept saying it's at the wrong depot, they also just rely on an unreliable I.T. system. No human contact, so nothing gets communicated properly down the line. Trust me pay a little bit more and choose another company get things delivered on time. I have had items delivered from the other side of the world in quicker time. Cancelled the order i didnt recieve. In a nut shell Very.co.uk is a waste of time and money.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Would never order from here again!!!!! Ordered an item on the 13th Dec expecting it to be here for Christmas when delivery date was given the 21st Dec. Rang up 4 times asking what is going on from 21st Dec - 17th Jan- no apology what so ever from staff (only one who I think was named Adrian?) other times no apology what so ever just tried to fob it off. Always making excuses on why the item isn't even been dispatched and stuck at "processing" for a month. They also expected us to wait another month to receive the order!!! ***AVOID ORDERING OFF HERE AT ALL COSTS!*** absolutely disgusted and worst customer service ever.

Attrocious store. They offer vouchers/codes but DO NOT redeem them at checkout. They wait until all items are dispatched and then are manually applied (seemingly if they feel like it or not). Waited over a month for the refund of the valid voucher code (which didn't happen) so had to return all my items for a refund (which then took another 14 days). It feels like a scam website, rather than a trusted online retailer. And their sister site Littlewoods is even more of a scam! Just compare the same items on their website and the prices are almost double in some instances... Think I'll just stick with Amazon from now on...

Our order arrived in a very damaged condition - soaked through. Having spent over an hour on the phone to Very I still have no idea what s happening so they now have my money and I have nothing to show for it. The numerous staff members telling me that I need to make another order - which has to be paid for again , before I get my goods. Avoid Very at all costs is my advice ! Absolutely disgusting treatment from this company.

I ordered a one off purchase from Very, however I was delivered completely the wrong product? I have since been told that I now have to wait up to two weeks for my account to be reimbursed following return of the product and then I have to re-order the initial product that I wanted?!! That the product I wanted cannot be sent in the meantime as this would apparently be 'crediting' me?!! The product that was delivered wrongly to me is actually £120 cheaper that the product I have already paid for. Therefore it is 'Very' that are in credit and not myself! I have however been continually told that if I opened an account with them this would not be the case? It appears that 'Very' like to marginalise and disadvantage any 'one off purchase' customers and try to force the opening of accounts, then they apply a huge interest rate to such accounts, whilst also making interest on the money from 'one off purchase' customers by retaining their money and refusing to send the initially ordered, correct and paid for product?! Furthermore, the Customer Service or indeed lack of it is shocking. They have 'outsourced' so much you speak to people all over the world and when I was speaking to the 'fifth customer service' representative I got cut off, on calling back I ended up with another respresentitive who said I would never be able to speak to the original person as they would never be able to find out who they were??!! Nobody I spoke with had any autonomy to rectify the situation and although completely in agreement with my complaint were powerless apparently to do anything about it?! I could, as I have also been told by 'Very' order and pay for another pair of boots whilst they are reimbursing my initial payment over the stated two weeks!! Seriously????? Update - The boots delivered have now been picked up by Yodel for return, I was informed by Very that I would receive a receipt from the delivery driver? He new nothing about such an arrangement. I have taken a photo evidencing the collection. I have never thought of doing such things, but I have no trust in a clearly on online 'money grabbing' company with no effective customer or service consideration and care!!

Was a good customer but finished my account today, very disgusted with the company, customer service is appalling the worst ever. ordered two sofa's and they were being delivered on the 12th. Jan 2016 so out went the old sofa's and now very has left us all (80 year old man included) not mentioning the grandchildren, sitting on the floor, well done very!

In my honest opinion this has been the most stressful experience! Hours chasing very for an order that should of being delivered only to tell me on another promised day of delivery it was out of stock after l rang to see where it was so they had to cancel the order but never contacted me to inform me! Promised refunds everyday after spending an accumulation of hours on the phone! Only then to tell me it was always in stock they do not know why we did not have the jukebox!!! The next excuse was we cannot refund you as it has been sent to you! Too late another one has been purchased as we cant wait around for this poor company to communicate and get their act together which quite honestly will never happen!!! News for you very ..... I would rather pay double than ever deal with such an inadequate company ever again. Awaiting refund still!!!!! ! So anyone who does not want to be lied too, spend hours on the phone chasing customer representatives, have money removed from their account and have a never ending battle to get it back find a reputable company even if it means paying more trust me if will be worth it!!!!

Ordered item on 27th December selected item to be delivered to local store. Advised that item would be delivered on 31st. Did not receive email, checked tracking which stated item was refused at store. Contacted customer service , who was unhelpful and told me item would be delivered the following day. 2 days letter no email to say item delivered. Contacted customer service who put me through to tracking and was advised item is being returned to warehouse. Request for manager to call me advised this would take up to 4 hours no call received. Call back to customer service and waited for manager. What a waste of time, very unhelpful and was not able to provide solution or explanation
