I have bought lots of dvds from them. Many don't work. I have had exactly the same experience as other people. They pretend they will collect for refund and never do. Their customer service is handled from Cape Town and apologises and says i will get urgently escalated but nothing. I am now complaining to Trading Standards. And reversing my charge at the bank at the disputes department.

BE WARNED ABOUT THIS COMPANY: I ordered a Shed. It arrived. Wrong size was sent. I queried and complained. Without any notification other packages were delivered, and none of them added up to the sized shed I ordered! The packages were left outside on the front of my house. No knock at the door, no card left, no notification of these being due to be delivered either. I have contacted through email and chat VIKING DIRECT about 15 times. The Customer Service is abysmal. I was told, collection on Fri 18th June 2021. No one called. I contacted VIKING by chat and was told Mon 2st June 2021 I checked the booking, and no sign of any dates booked. I went on chat again, and was told that it will now take over 2 weeks but I cannot be given a date!!! All I want now is my £275 refund. I am now seeking Legal Advice.

First order wrong item delivered. Spent 2 hours trying to get it rectified, going through a bureaucratic nightmare of them telling me they couldn't do anything until I supplied them with a product reference number for the item that had been wrongly delivered which I didn't have. Eventually reached a compromise. They would send the correct order free of charge (very odd being as it had already been payed for) and please keep the wrongly sent item ( of no use to us and there is a large box now posing an accident risk in our stock room whilst we decide what to do with it). But anyway, at least our orders coming! Yes it did, next day but 60 miles from where it should have been delivered to. I am amazed they manage to stay in business with this level of incompetence. Needless to say we will not be using them again.

Viking.ie provides appalling customer service. Was told malfunctioning pressure washer would be collected in April 2021, it's now June . 28 emails back and forth and several phone calls, it's still at my front door and Viking send the same old response: that it will be collected anywhere between 24, 48 or 72 hours . It doesn't really matter how many hours they write as it's complete fiction! I would never, ever buy from this company again and would advise anyone thinking of doing so to save their money, time and blood pressure!

Disgraceful company. I ordered bubble envelopes back in December and part of the order was missing. I rang up and they sent the rest of the order a few days later. Then randomly had a delivery in January of 400 envelopes that I didn't order. Viking contacted me inviting that 600 envelopes were delivered to me in January. Although this is a clerical error by them I said I was not going to pay for 600 I would pay for the 400 I received. My emails were ignored time and time again. The last email I had was from someone apologising for the inconvenience. Haven't heard anything more about it since February until now with a solicitor letter demanding I pay for the 600 envelopes or I will incur court costs etc. Absolute disgrace of a company. Avoid at all costs.

Website showed the item was in stock and would be delivered next day. Two weeks later I am still waiting. I tried the live webchat where I was told it would arrive on a certain date, then went back and asked the same question on that date and it had been delayed again. Still waiting for our order now.

Very disappointing service, placed order 5th of the month, then rang them on the 14th, for them to say items were still on the way, on the 20th I rang again to be informed good were damaged by courier and I wouldnt see my money until another 7-14 days. Will never place another order

Don’t waste your time sent the wrong item after waiting weeks tried calling up spent hour in wait then told will send correct item in 14 days.

I have had a truly dreadful experience with Viking. I would not recommend using them. For many years as far back into the 80's we used Viking and they were great. Now they have been taken over and they are absolutely hopeless. I made an important order in February 2021 and several phone calls later - speaking with customer services in South Africa and all other areas of the world, they still have not managed to make the delivery of simple items like envelopes. I am shocked at such a bad service. After at least two phone calls to try and clarify and confirmmy billing and delivery address they still have today a completely different address on their system. If you seriously need to buy stationery I recommend you seek elsewhere.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I placed an order with Viking! I placed my order with them because their website claimed next day delivery, but that wasn't true. After no communication or further notifications, I checked my account to find the "items will be dispatched at a later date." I contacted their Customer Service team who have been no help at all. I was told they've "escalated" my complaint to another team and now radio silence. Utterly disgraceful!

Very bad experience i ordered my paper in bulk over a month before i knew i would ran out which is what i always do so i never run out. When i switched to the viking paper A5 and A4 my printer began shooting out 5-10 sheets per invoice printed when i printed in bulk. I assumed this had to be the printer malfunctioning not thinking it could be the paper. So i ordered a new printer and disgarded my old one. The same thing happened again when printing in bulk so i have since returned back to my old paper supplier and hey presto it prints perfect again. I contacted viking to arrange the return of the poor quality paper as i have 5 boxes of the stuff but was told by Deepak Upadhyay i was outside of 30 days return policy so nothing they could do. This is absolutely ridiculous and i will never use the sham of a company again. Avoid!!! be warned the paper is very bad quality and the customer service is equally poor!

Goods never arrived. First email not answered, second email does get answered a day later. My missing goods were only investigated because I complained, in spite of the fact the carrier had returned them to the warehouse. Customer support - what a joke. He tells me my order has now been cancelled, but that I can order again, as this would be the quickest thing to do. Oh, and he goes on to say my money will be refunded within 14 working days (Yes 14, with Easter coming up that means no time soon). Why would I trust them again? Why have they not challenged their carrier? Why no speedy re - attempt to deliver? Why does it take 14 (working) days to refund my money? With internet delivery companies like Viking need to realise that they have to be slick with getting the product the customer has bought to them.

Hi, You are a disaster of a company. I ordered few goods on 13th January. It was supposed to be delivered in 1 day. Never happened! Contacted them on 21st of January, the goods will be delivered in 2 days. Never happened! Contacted them on 25th of January, the goods will be delivered in 2 days. Never happened! Contacted them on 28th of January, the goods will be delivered in 5 days. Never happened! Asked for a refund on 4th February, Told refund will happen in 14 days. Never happened! Asked for a refund 25th of February, Told refund will happen in 14 days. Never happened! Asked for a refund of 22nd of March, Told refund will happen in 14 days again. You are such a disaster of a company. DO you not have any credibility? It has been 3 months, running behind you for a refund.

Despite their website offering 'next day' delivery, I've just been told, after chasing, that my ink cartridges won't now arrive for a further 10 days. On a 'ship from warehouse' order?? I know there's a pandemic, but to move some packages from one shelf to another? And perhaps the rudest 'customer service' agents ever? Avoid, avoid.

Viking Direct NEVER REPLY TO EMAILS, so why provide this facility if you’re going to ignore customers? They’ve started to send unwarranted direct marketing to my home address that I never signed up for, so called and emailed them to take all my personal details off their database urgently and to close down the account. I only bought one item from them that I returned, which for some unknown reason also required membership. Have sent numerous emails quoting GDPR regulations, which they’re either ignoring to keep me hooked into their business against my will ;-) or unresponsive because they are lazy. It’s not on and fed up at having to chase them to remove my details. They’ve just replied on Trustpilot with a standard non-response to this poor review - adding that they’ll respond, however - yet again failed to respond to my original emails. Hilarious if it wasn’t so disappointing! If you want a company that has zero communication and emotional intelligence, then by all means use them because they’re first-class at ignoring customers ;-) ACCOUNT C7516841
