TERRIBLE service! Items never came. Tracking information ‘wasn’t available’. Was lied to several times by customer service; once, they told me that the items would come by 6:00 PM that day, and they still hadn’t been delivered. Items then labelled ‘delivered’ online. Automated responses nearly every time I messaged. Customer service finally got back to me about a refund after 10+ emails and told me that my package had been ‘lost’ and that a refund will be issued soon, once the information has been transferred to the ‘relevant department’. This was something they kept doing, always passing me off to someone else, claiming it wasn’t the right email address and that it would take 3-5 or even 10-14 working days for someone to get back to me! Ridiculous and fraudulent service! And I’ve now seen hundreds of reviews with the exact same experience as me, who also never got refunds...! Do not trust this website! Liars and thieves!

My order never arrived, They blamed the carrier and refused to give me a refund or replacement order. Told me if I wanted my item to make a new order. Absolutely disgraceful!

Ordered a chair 27th Nov. (Next Day Delivery) This was funded by work but receipts had to be in mid Dec so when there was no chair and no payment taken by the end of the first week I used their chat function and they told me it would be dispatched Dec 19th. I had no option but to seek a refund. Purchased same chair in Jan (14th). Chair was 'on the way' same day but I noticed from the UK. When yesterday (Feb 9th) there was still no update except it was 'in-transit' - checked Viking Orders and it was marked 'Delivered'! Send a email and today they refunded me saying the courier (UPS) returned it. Problem.... The scheme to buy and expense to work expired Jan 31st. So now to get one I am out of pocket substantially! Do Viking care?! Absolutely not!

I ordered a chair on the 14th of January 2021. The website promised next day delivery. After 4 days waiting I messaged them and they told me that next day delivery was not available anymore because of Brexit, but it would have been 72 hours (which already is past that time frame). I received an e-mail stating that I would receive the parcel on Friday that week. After a month, countless chats, messages and emails, I still do not have the parcel, the company always tells me the same thing - we will have an update in 8 days - and nothing was done to solve this problem. UPS is still showing as "We're attempting to verify the package location. / Claim issued". When I ask what that means I get a standard message - we will have an update in 8 days -. Avoid using Viking.ie, this has been the worst experience I ever encountered here in Ireland, not only because the parcel still has not arrived after 4 weeks, but also because of the misleading information they provide on their website. Consider your options, and avoid this company.

Ordered product the 7th of January still no product. Worst communication reading other reviews people are not getting refunded so stuck in limbo. No product no refund

Absolute disgrace of a company - avoid at all costs! It is now 24 days since I ordered a chair from viking.ie. I was super aware of the issues BREXIT could cause so i made sure to order from IRISH site. I still have no chair and despite numerous calls to customer service still no resolution. Was told that it will take 14 working days for refund to be issued. Not acceptable. Customer service reps are reading from a script and can not actually help. I have to now resort to opening paypal dispute to get my money back. Please save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

TERRIBLE! Waited 3 weeks for a 400£ product, lies on top of lies! Thank god I paid with Paypal or I would have lost my money. AVOID AT ALL COST. Customer service responds but doesn't follow up. Save your money and go with Amazon. 0/10

Company should be closed down, nothing but lies .. Place a order online, pay for it and then nothing, email them, live chat them, only to be told it will be another 48 hours, then wait for another 72 hours this is after waiting 3 weeks, Bunch of lying .......

Was told lies by a viking representative. Ordered my items on 10/01/21 When they didn't arrive be 25/01/21 I got in contact with customer services. I actually didn't mind waiting 2 weeks or so. Customer service rep apologised for delay and said my order would be with me next day the 26/01/21. Between 9am and 8pm. I said thats great thanks for your help. Next day came and went. Still no delivery. Got in contact again with online services to complain. By tracking it was in East London. Not a hope of getting to Ireland next day. Rep lied just to get rid of me. Awful. Cancelled oder and will never contact viking again. I'm still waiting for a call back from there skilled tracing team! as I was told. I'm still waiting........

Placed a substantial order on 7th Jan but as of today 28th it hasn't arrived I've emailed to be told I'll get an answer in 4-5 days. Went on Chat to be told they have sent part of the order was returned because it got "damaged" and the rest of it is en route but effectively no Idea where it is they have no information on their website apart from an obscure note under delivery times.

It is now 16 days since I ordered a chair from viking.ie to make sure this would not happen, my daughter much preferred a chair on Amazon but I said no that we would order from Ireland to avoid complications due to Brexit. I ordered from Ireland! Why is the chair stuck in UK? I have rang viking 3 times and emailed them and was assured that the chair would have arrived by yesterday, I gave it yet another day and nothing! Is viking.ie not in Ireland? Why is the chair in Stansted? Customer service has been non existent up to now, i am having to chase for a product that I paid for. They won't respond to me at all.

Very terrible service. Incredibly bad. If I could leave a minus star I would. Placed an order on the 7th of January. Still yet to receive my item despite being promised 48 hours. I have placed numerous calls to their customer service. Was first of all told the item was not in stock. Why would you sell an item you do not have???!!! Then i was told two weeks later it had been shipped... All lies... Asked for a refund, they have refused to process. If anyone is aware of any ethics committee they could be reported to kindly make me aware. They are well below operating standards. Simply unacceptable.

Viking direct has promised on their website that I will receive item in 48 hours, that was on 6th January 2021, please see emails attached. This has not happened. I have received an email from DHL that I am due to pay tax on the item. This is something I have not agreed to at the time of purchase. I have agreed on paying just over £241, attached, and having the item within 48 hours. I have been mislead by this company. I will contact trading standards also. Seller now ignoring emails.

Very Bad customer service They say a picture tells a thousand words?? Not with Viking?? A picture showing 25 Multi coloured file binders?? BUT!! The description (25 Green file binders) And not a great explanation from customer services, Shame on you Viking Direct.

Shocking customer service states on the website 24 hours delivery up to 78 hours with delays. I'm just shy of two weeks and after live chat mails calls not getting anywhere. Keep getting told oh it will be there or I'll escalate the query and them I hear nothing back. Shocking service

I used Viking Direct as I wanted to use…somebody other than Amazon I used Viking Direct (actually using my partner's account;D** N****) as I wanted to use somebody other than Amazon for a purchase as I wish to 'do my bit' to reduce their dominance. Anyway, having ordered my item (30th December) ready to use in the New Year (a wall-mounted magnetic perpetual planner now you ask - not a cheap purchase) I was told it was next day delivery. Delivery happened as promised - excellent. The box seemed curiously odd-shaped for such a product but, well, design/packaging can be very clever these days etc., I thought. But no, rather than my product I actually received a box full of bin liners. Ok, these things happen, I understand that. I took pictures and described what had happened and emailed Viking Direct. From here on in (let alone previous error) it has been like wading through treacle. Amazon would have sorted the problem in a flash and via one communication...so far it has been back and forth with Viking Direct and I am no further along with resolving my incorrectly picked/delivered item or receiving my correct one. Probably should have stuck with Amazon...my bad.

I ordered an item on 9 November. It was out of stock so I requested a refund. I purchased the item from another supplier. It is now 60 days & I've not had a refund. I've contacted Viking 5 x by chat & 1 x phone to customer services. I will NOT be using Viking again!

Didn't get my product Didn't get my product, didn't get a refund. Awful services. 3 weeks and still no product. Was told 48 hours and then was told will be here for Monday, then rang Tuesday and then they said it still not been sent. Awful company. Do not use

Ordered Christmas stamps with the promise of a 48hr delivery. Was charged £2.90 postage + vat for 4 x books of stamps which would have fitted in an envelope. When I enquired as to the delay I was promised rice that they would be with me by 6pm. Still waiting 8 days later. Last posting day for 2nd class mail was yesterday. I waited till 6pm, but unsurprisingly, no stamps arrived. Had to buy more. Have just read the reviews here, wish I'd read them before I ordered. Maybe they'll be here for next Christmas?

Worst customer service ever! Placed an order on 01/12/2020, first initially told 5 working days. Then when I called to ask for an update was told can take up to 10-15 working days. 15 working days have passed. I called customer service who are completing useless, said they would pass my request onto the delivery team over a week ago, still not heard from to then be told by customer service there is a backlog and can take 5-7 days for them to get in touch. I asked how long a refund would take if I was to cancel. 14 business days!! I am so upset as this was a Christmas present and don't have another £450 to go out and buy another. The chat service is rubbish they can't even give an update on when it will actually arrive.
