“Horrible service. Buyer received the item. Had proof of delivery and still buyer received refund. Ridiculous service and rude customer service”

“POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE SCAM DETECTING TEAM I sold some perfectly brand new boots to a scam buyer on vinted - she then damaged the boots in order to receive a refund, saying that they had arrived to her damaged and were not as described (the leather was completely split, cut marks all over them, NOT as I sent them off looking like.) I had proof of how they looked and tried to defend myself multiple times and vinted took her side, refunding her the money annd leaving me with no boots to sell!!! even after blatant proof of her scam? I am a genuine and regular vinted user and have 5* rating and have had no problems - but now that I have had to report an issue I have really lost faith in this app.”

“Terrible selling experience. I sold 3 items to one buyer. She requested to return 1 of the 3 items and they have refunded her the entire amount for all 3 items even though she kept two of them. They are now saying that there is nothing they can do, justifying their total lack of any kind of actual check with the buyer before refunding and showing behind their computers and rubbish policies. Awful service, wiping their hands of any issues and their failure to check before refunding. I will never use them again and am 100% certain if the bother to reply to this it will be to state the same rubbish they tried to use to get out of it when I tried going customer service.”

“The customer service is horrible, they ban you for ridiculous reasons. You can’t list collage photos, you can’t list to many new items with tags, you can’t list multiple items that look similar. Vinted is horrible and a waste of time for buyers and sellers. Whoever makes the rules on Vinted are morons”

“this platform is only good if you are a buyer. seller service is horrible. a month ago, a buyer of mine did not pick up the parcel i sent and the transaction was suspended. the buyer got a refund but i didnt get compensation nor the article of clothing back.”

“At first during my first 12 purchases I thought they would quite good, but now I'm horrified to find when I didn't receive my item Vinted automatically marked it as received, I've lost £26 so they've lost my business. Unbelievably shocking platform.”

“First time using Vinted, set up account to sell a Marks and Spencer raincoat. Account was deleted, saying they thought the coat was counterfeit. Sent more photos, including washing instructions and was told I was permanently banned as they still didn't believe me. Absolutely ridiculous! Who would sell counterfeit 'Marks and Spencer' for goodness sake? Back to Ebay for me. Vinted is rubbish and obviously run by idiots!”

“I have tried to sell a couple of items but I keep getting a message saying I am breaking their rules so they delete my item yet there are so many other people selling exactly the same item and theirs are still there to be seen and buy, customer service does not exist, !!!”

“For some reason my account was temporarily blocked due to a wall hanging. The wall hanging wasn't vulgar or rude, it just had a life quote. Be prepared that if you list on Vinted, you unfortunately have to deal with very dense staff who won't help you resolve the issue and all they do is send automated messages. Once my account is unblocked, I am definitely closing my account.”

“The company is absolutely horrendous, thieves and don’t care at all . I sold a brand new kimono for £45, the buyer said the package was empty when she received it so they gave her her money back straight away no questions asked. 6 weeks of messaging them and nothing! I am now out of pocket for £45 and they don’t care!! Reported them to trading standards DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

“Everything that can go wrong for a buyer goes wrong on this vile website. I've been conned out of over £50 for two purchases which were fake, I took photo proof, returned them at my expense yet Vinted still released money to the sellers! This is the worst website ever and there are no ways of contacted 'support' other than through messaging them and you literally get nowhere. If you want to keep your sanity don't even bother buying from here, you'll lose lots of money when things go wrong, and with the many lying sellers, something is bound to go wrong. AVOID.”

“If you are sent the wrong goods then to even try to get a refund you are pressured to pay even more money to post the goods back. So the dishonest or unreliable seller does not have to cover the charge of the return postage and then if they claim that the original packaging is even slightly damaged in transit you get no refund and they get the goods back. The customer service is completely unhelpful and disintereated. Poor”
