“If I could give less than a star I would. I sold an item on Vinted, they sent me a label, which I used and had a receipt. Long story short it never registered as sent because they gave me an invalid label. They won’t refund me for the Money I’ve lost by the item not getting where it should and I don’t have the item to resell. I’ve emailed their support and their legal team and they just go round and round in circles and don’t read the emails. I have the Evri receipt which is all I could have as proof.”

“Be careful!! Vinted are ridiculously strict and OTT with their rules they’re very quick to remove items and hand out bans! Silly me made a second account due to my first account being unfairly suspended and now I’m permanently banned for life! I tried to email vinted to explain and all you get back is “our decision is final” bs. I’m a genuine seller/buyer, sold loads and have 5* reviews. I’ve never had an issue and yet somehow I’m now banned from vinted? Completely unfair treatment and completely over the top when there are genuine scammers and misusers that get over looked! I also wanna warn you that people I know have had issues with not receiving payments, vinted siding with buyers who clearly are scamming and vinted refusing to delete stored data. Once you’re banned that’s it they ban everything from your IP address, bank details, moblie number, device everything so making a new account is basically impossible. Be careful!”

“DO NO USE VINTED I advertised an authentic bag on the site. After 32 mins I was offered the full asking price. They then sent me a "how to receive funds" notification. It asked for my bank details, which I happy gave. It stated that my details were incorrect and I should go on "chat" which I did. I was informed that they required my credit/debit card details with my PIN. I refused and stated that I only give my PIN when purchasing an item not selling one. They said that they would only require my PIN once and also needed to know how much money I had in the account. Obviously I told them in not uncertain terms that I was NOT an idiot and to BOG OFF PLEASE BE VERY AWARE!!!!!!”

“What an awful company, stay away for your own good. I’ve been actively buying and selling on vinted since 2021, with 300+ positive feedback, not a single issue with buyers or sellers. And they just blocked me over a listing that “goes against their rules” although it doesn’t, other people are selling same items, yet their bots targeted mine. All robotic replies seem just useless, not a single reasonable human to talk to. Waste of time.”

“Beware, if you buy an item that the shipping company loses Vinted won't pay you back, even if the shipping company says they've lost the item. You're better off using eBay or something SIMILAR who offers some protection. I've been arguing with them for over a month and now need to get my bank and lawyer involved. Totally ridiculous, AVOID!!!”

“Package never arrived. Proof sent from Evri that they had lost the package still no refund over a month later. To buyer protection at all DO NOT WATER YOUR MONEY USE EBAY”

“Blocked my account for trying to sell some toothbrush heads as they said they were “unsafe”! Now won’t reinstate my account. My husband tried to open an account and they have blocked that too just because we are associated 🤣. Absolute joke of a company. Use a different one!”

“I'm constantly cheated on and the administrators don't give a damn. Nobody is responsible for anything! Thieves platform! Several parcels did not reach me, I did not receive a refund for the purchased items, and in other cases I was charged shipping costs for goods that I did not receive! Customer service is non-existent. You only interact with bots. They make money by brazenly robbing people.”

“Using them for year, had more than 100 good reviews, and they blocked me because they thought I'm posting non sate items, when tried to explain that I can't see in their rules that I can't post this they just don't want to listen . That's not fair as I seen the same posted by other people. Why you keep scammers on your platform but block reliable and honest people?”

“Absolutely disgusting...stay clear Absolutely disgusting...stay clear. Over two weeks vinted were informed that an incorrect item had been received. It was confirmed by the courier that it was their error within 2 days of the issue being reported, yet vinted continue to say that they are still waiting a response. They are fraudulent keeping nearly £100 of my money and refusing to refund, despite having all the evidence they need from myself, the seller and the courier.”

“Ive used Vinted now for over 3 years and had no issues, it appears they have new software or something new on their platform as suddenly im permenantly blocked for selling goods without labels, however, there were lables on the items, not only that I provided original packaging and the Amazon reciepts showing they were bought 2 days earlier. They totally ignore your 'appeal' and your messages and just block you. its awful how they treat long standing sellers. I had 3000 items for sale and nearly 2000 positive reviews on Vinted to be blocked without discussion and not looking at your appeal. absolutely awful, they have ignored all of my messages. The appeal process is a lie and they dont take your pics into consideration and never admit when they are actually wrong.”

“Disgusting customer service from vinted.co.uk - you pay a 'buyer protection fee' but get zero service. If you return goods, at your expensive even if not described properly, you have to wait for the seller to confirm the goods are returned in proper order which can take up to 15 days! The seller is already dodgy because they lied about they goods they sold, I had to pay to return them but have to wait 15 days for my refund, that is IF the seller agrees to it! What kind of dodgy company is this? I have reported them to trading standards and consumer advice.”

“Don’t use Vinted - their Customer Service is appalling and they allow other users to block for revenge and then their bots refuse to allow an appeal regardless of how much proof you have. They also don’t follow their own guidelines. They give examples of how to describe your item and then tell you that you’ve described it inaccurately. They are truly awful - trust me, you will get burned by them. Not worth the stress of it”

“DO NOT USE. They trick you in to paying buyers protection on every purchase, but in reality, they won't do anything. I bought a pair of trousers, brand new from a seller. Tags said 32leg, description said 32leg. However, when they arrived they were actually 30leg and had been altered to be 30leg. I complained to Vinted and they did nothing, saying the tags on the item match the item description...Yes but the trousers were altered to ve shorter... Vinted then suggested I sold them again, tricking someone else. Absolutely shocking customer service. Making money from buyers, with a false buyers protection. Far too easy to be scammed.”

“Very bad customer service, they are not helping, I have worked hard to put like 20 bags online and they deleted everything without a reason. The only things they are telling you is doesn't follow our protocol, they are very bad on communication, I have deleted my account and I rather selling on vestiare collective, they are much better service than them , they are so rude and unprofessional at all”

“Scammed. First time buyer and the scammer knew it.(how?) I thought I was in a secure vinted site and vinted kept advertising this fact. Turned out I wasn't. Too easy for scammers to do this and delete their profile immediately. I can't be the only one to fall victim to scammers on this site. Facebook marketplace for me from now on. Cash on collection. Simpler and safer”

“Haven’t received t withdrawal money to my bank account messed them Loads and sent bank statements to prove it hasn’t gone through just get automated messages telling me I’ve got to get a written letter from my bank To say I haven’t got it , what a joke so I’m Now out of pocket by a substantial amount that they won’t do anything about , avoid !!!”

“My 16 year old grandson spent Xmas money, £170 on a jacket stated excellent condition. First time he’d bought on Vinted. The size was wrong and the condition was NOT excellent. He tried for 3 days to get a reply from the seller and by the time the seller replied he said it had to be done in 2 days! It was too late apparently to get a refund for shoddy goods. Vinted won’t help as he should have clicked on a button within 2 days. This was not made clear and grandson had tried messaging the seller. I wish buyers had more rights. Vinted are rubbish. To allow a child to lose this much money is disgusting”
