well, where do I start? there very poor customer service or the inability to sort out ANY issues? it all started 32 mon the ago when I took the contract out... they assured me they could provide me with signal in my current postal address.... signal I could never find myself. they wouldn't let me cancel the contract as I was now out of my cooling off period. ( even though I called up asking about signal... they told me it was a mast down and would be back up running soon)... after months of arguing with there disgustingly poor customer services I decided to leave my contract running and take out another one with amother provider. I left complaint after complaint with vodafone and NEVER once had a call back or letter of apology or Resolvment. in July 2015 my contract was up with vodafone and I phoned up to close the account. to which they told me had been done.. IT HAD NOT BE DONE! they continued to take payments from my account for the next two months. (which I can't get back). After another poor customer service phone call they ensured my account was closed and I would not be billed again.. so I can celled the direct debit with my bank issuer... the following month they once again tried to take payment.. this was because my account wasn't closed again. I received debt collector letters and red marks against my credit filem which was left me unable to obtain a remortgage.. I have called and been into stores and never got anywhere. it's been three months and no body is sorting the issue. I would NOT recommend Vodafone to anyone! all they want is yout money they have absolutely no phone manner or nice customer service. very poor provider. I HAVE NEVER had a apology even though they have admitted to it being there fault in the first place. absolutely disgusting.

I work in customer service and I would be ashamed to offer the service that these bunch of clowns 'attempt' to provide. If you have any sense leave as soon as you can and tell your friends and family not to join Vodafone at all costs. I could write a whole list of failures this Company offers up frequently but it would take me too long. To top off the circle of pain you endure with all this the calls queues are a disgrace aswell!!

Worst Website ever!! For such a big international company how they can have such a poor working website baffles me! Trying to upgrade & have been for over a week & the website crashes or freezes all the time, The 1 time i managed to get right to the end to upgrade a system error message came up... It's like they actually do'nt want you to upgrade!

utterly disgusted and appalled by the service given. So over the weekend my phone was completely cut off. No service whatsoever. My phone still has no service and is still cut off. I have done several online chats, been into store and spoken to them using one of their phones they've admitted it's their fault and agreed to reconnect my phone. This was Sunday. Then every day since as I'm still disconnected. I have emailed the ceo and a representative has emailed back to say my case is being looked into and they will call me at some point today. Are these people idiots? My phone is disconnected and therefore I can't take phone calls.... Where can I go from here? Also on Monday they told me that I had a bill outstanding of £181 which was why I was cut off, the next time I spoke to them they told me there was no such bill!

Do you have a problem with your phone ? Good luck trying to get through to a human to speak to. Automated system keeps sending me round in circles and does not recognise my mobile number (presumably since I swapped using a PAC code.. but that doesn't make it acceptable). I spent at least half an hour trying to find an option to speak to an advisor regarding a faulty screen from a recently purchased handset directly from vodafone. I was not able to get anywhere with the automated system and it would automatically hang up on me for entering the "wrong" mobile number 3 times. I finally figured I would call to report my phone as "Lost or Stolen" just for the sake of speaking to someone then kindly ask if they can put me through to the technical team... However, this option also starts with an automated system advising me that I can go online to request support check my bills etc etc. Utter horse **** worst customer service I have ever experienced... in fact, non existent.

I have a pay as you go SIM card and they sent me a monthly pay SIM card which I didn't want, so a few days later they took the first months money out of my bank for it, so I rang them up they put me on hold and transferred me to 4 different people to speak to, after finally getting through to someone who could understand me he then said I've cancelled the card for you, make sure you cut it up and I'll transfer the money to you within 5-7 days well it's been 7 days and they still haven't given me the money back robbing so and so's! I've rang them up I was on the phone for 35 minutes for them to tell me they can't access the monthly SIM card I said well obviously because it's being cancelled, it carried on and on which I got angry and hung up after they have wasted my time and minutes. What a peice of crap hate Vodafone never recommend them to anyone ever!! Worst phone company all there bothered about is ripping people off and being absolutely pointless at there jobs!

Unresponsive, Tardy and Inflexible even when CEO's office involved We have IPad and phones on Vodafone which are used to provide an out of hours service to 350 very vulnerable patients (those with five or more chronic illnesses).They are registered with an account at the local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The phones and Ipad have had their access restricted by Vodafone (without warning by text or the like). This was discovered by chance on Friday evening and the staff at the CCG had gone home. As restricting the calls and Ipads risks the patients care, I have just requested that the restriction is relieved for this period until Monday. Then your Vodafone team can contact the appropriate person at the CCG. This has been denied saying they cannot relieve any restriction without speaking to the account holder. This suggests a distinct lack of flexibility and common sense and is most disappointing despite involving the CEO's office. The lack of warning of any restriction of service is unacceptable and I would certainly not use Vodafone for any crucial service serving patients or the community where communication is an essential requirement.

Completely incompetent. That's all I can say. After being a loyal customer with them for over 15 years, I won't be renewing when my contact ends. Any recommendations for the best supplier??!!

Absolutely THE worst service I have ever experienced in my life!!! Complete ripoff, and will leave you frustrated and angry with their empty promises if/when you eventaully get to speak to somone - AVOID!!!!!!!

This is the worst company to go into a contract with. If you do not want to be robbed or tested with your patience, DO NOT use this company. They do not help you if you have an issue. They constantly over charge you for things. They will never help you resolve an issue. They will be rude on the phone and on live chat, and if you want to complain further about their customer service, they just give you a 'oh sorry' which is basically all they know how to do. If they rip you off and cause you emotional stress so much you want to scream? Yeah, they don't offer any compensation or help whatsoever. They will just say 'oh sorry' and blame all other customer service team members. They will make you feel like its YOUR fault. They NEVER do anything wrong and if they do - 'OH SORRY.' If they say they are going to sort a situation out for you. They aren't. It's a lie. They will do anything to get you off the phone or off online chat thinking your situation has been dealt with only to find out in a week/ 2 weeks time you are back to square one. I wasted HOURS of my time trying to talk sense into what I can only describe as the most awful customer service team, just for them to NEVER help me. All I wanted to do was set up a payment plan to pay off £70 of debt £15 a month. In the end I had to pay it off full by borrowing some money because after 4 months they failed to mention all I had to do was call the automated number to set up a 'payment plan' It got pushed so far that 1 particular customer service provider said they didn't set up the 'payment plan' simply because I had called it a 'payment' plan instead of an 'installation' plan. After talking to 20+ customer service team members, not one of them mentioned how I could resolve my issue SIMPLY. I don't think they really know how to do their jobs so who can blame them???? This is when I felt like Nuking the whole entire Vodafone population. If you go into their Facebook page Vodafone UK you will see I am not the only one. EVERYONE who joins with vodafone regrets it. Once you start reading, you can't stop. And How do vodafone respond? 'OH SORRY...' BLAH BLAH BLAH. Same old bull. They are despicable. They do not care about their customers. They are money grabbing fiends. If I could use vulgar lanuage, I would. They should be investigated and shut down for the stories I have heard, because with my 4 month struggle calling almost every day to sort out 1 simple thing that could have been done in a matter of minutes if they were actually competent, people have been robbed out of thousands and taking for a ride so badly their entire lives have been affected. Truly disgusting that they continue to do this. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Poor customer service. more than happy to get you off the line rathan than to retain your custom after 5 years plus of never missing a bill. Better deal on high Street even with Vodafone network than in Vodafone shop as a loyal customer. Very shoddy service in store and on phone

Been with Vodaphone since Feb last year I have been honest saying I was unable to pay a few of my bills as I got made redundant I was honest from day one explaining why I couldn't pay my bill they set me up on a payment plan which was fine for me I payed £37 a week for 3-4 weeks and they discontinued my line after speaking to 16 advisors they still couldn't explain why they did this soon the day they took my payment I rang up complaining every time I ring up they keep putting the phone down on me after being on hold for an hour at a time there is still no reason why they did it the company lost me £900. Of work that week.... I rang up telling them I should be compensated for the problems I was facing and why no one cares to deal with my request it's now Jan 16 I'm still facing the same problems when I want to make a payment..... Now trying to say I owe £800 for something I can't use so no I won't recommend and I certainly won't be using vodafone again and anyone for wanting to join I wouldn't as they cause nothing but stress and hassle over 10000 call I have made to vodafone regarding billing and no one seems to have a brain cell between them.... So no don't go with vodafone they fob you off when you have a problem instead of trying to fix it!?!!!!!!!!

A joke. Completely incompetent. Promised a refund, still waiting 4 months and numerous calls later. They moved the wrong number to PAYG twice. Vodafone are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Terrible service and customer care. Sorted out a sim only contract for my mum who has been with Vodafone for 24 years or so, and requested a micro sim be sent by post as my mother runs a pub well over an hour away from the nearest Vodafone store. Having requested a sim be sent over 10 times now. Only one has arrived which was faulty and didn't work. I have been charged for delivery of these so called orders which never arrived. I have tried contacting Vodafone well over 20 calls now to sort this out and have been promised a manager call back by several people... Never had a call back! My mum is paying the contract which she has now had for 7 months and not been able to use it! And still I can't contact anyone of authority to resolve my issue. Terrible! I can't believe they consider this legal yet alone moral. I have tried all means to get a call back from the escalations team and have now reverted to this. So if anyone at Vodafone has a moral conscience you can contact me on 07810210262 to resolve it. In the mean time I will continue to tell the world of the nature of their service.

It was the worst company I have to deal with. You tell them " I need to keep my number for receiving incoming calls", and they put you on broadband contract and block all your calls. You tell them " I need to swap 2 numbers", they tell you " yeah yeah" , but in reality none of those people can do it! I had 2 contracts on business account and every month I had to call them to spent hours dealing with all this strange bills, and what they do to the account. Seriously, if you are looking for a good mobile provide, never think about VODAFONE!

Hi, anybody thinking of joining Vodafone I would strongly suggest you don't. I have been a customer with Vodafone over the past 10 years. First of all they sent me the wrong color phone as an upgrade, then when I requested to change handset completely they sent me the wrong handset. The price plan we agreed on the new handset originally was not matched the 2nd time around. I then requested to leave in which they disconnected my line altogether. Once back online after 7 long days. They said that they would compensate me for 1 month line rental, £10 credit and days of service lost. I wanted more as I do sales and I missed out on 100's of pounds worth of sales! I then wanted a PAC code to leave and while I was on hold, my phone cut off and my line was disconnected AGAIN! Waiting time to customer service is around 45 minutes (even if they say on the phone 6-13 minutes). On a number of occasions I have been on the phone for just under 2 hours and still my issue was not resolved. On some occasions I have been on hold and they have hung up on me. Ridiculous. Advisers do not know which department to put people through to. One adviser wanted my number 3 times. Are Vodafone that cheap they can't supply pen and paper? I suggest ANYONE not to join Vodafone on all basis. As you can see from reviews just off this website the service is shocking. I rate Vodafone as the worst customer service in the world and I have dealt with a lot of customer service based companies in the past. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Will update my review if I get my PAC.
