I have been with Vodafone for years but they could not match or better a deal from Mobiles.co.uk but still using the Vodafone network so I switched & wanted to keep my numbers. This was ok on a Phone & Sim upgrade although only after I visited my nearest store in Inverness (a 100 mile round trip for me) The online team were diabolical & only wanted to sell me a different & more expensive contract. My other phone was changing from a SIM only to SIM only still with Vodafone but the Online team is a Retensions team & said they could only cancel my current account which took 30 days after which I could ask for a code to get my number back. Diabolical but after 3 hours and escalating up the chain the manager 'thinks' he has sorted it by 'Trying his luck' . The moral is, if you are changing within Vodafone, go into a store & if you are a business take a printed letterhead & forms of ID!

As said in a text to you (but not sure if will get to you) I have been a very loyal customer of you. The coverage is very good but I still wonder (especially after recommding your company to several other people) after also a promise of a call back from one of your advisors, I'm still paying a (in my opinion) far too much to stay with you

Avoid Vodafone. They will steal money from your account and when you call they know they had taken the money but refuse to help. You have to avoid this company by any means necessary.

Vodafone are an awefull broadband provider. My internet service was knocked out by a storm, and i fought their customer support hard to get them to send and engineer, they continually promised to but never did, after 3 weeks of no service i changed providers. 2 days before my new service was about to start they sent an engineer who found out the problem was a storm damaged router, they said Vodafone would send a new one but i said not to bother because in 2 day i would be receiving internet from a new provider. Now Vodafone has the audacity to say i owe them £170 for leaving when its their fault and they are refusing to waive the bill because of their terrible service, how can i be expected to pay £170 for being mistreated this way? Avoid Vodafone.

this has to be the worst company i have ever dealt with. i have been a customer since they launched the trial of gigafast and was/is 1 of the first ever trialists. there was a few problems to strat with but now problems most months being cut off for no reason or system goes down or over billing. and now the fibre to my home is down again so far i am comming to the 3rd day on no internet at all. i was told they done a system update a week ago and any that loses connection WILL NOT GET IT BACK as there not sure how to repair this yet so no eta on it working again. (i have picture and phone call proof of this) when you do call them you have to wait atleast 45 mins for some1 to answer (usually the wrong person then on hold again) but im waiting upto 2 hrs at a time. my lights are run by alexa so cant turn them ones on at all. i have a 1000 meg line up and a 1000 meg line download and now running off my phones hotspot signal lmao. vodafone run as a 3rd rate company and i would like to say i aim to go to the press with this very shortly as enough is enough. also city fibre who supply there fibre to the home have been spoken to and they assured me and vodafone everything is ok there end and vodafone have also said it is all vodafones fault. please avoid this company at all costs. i will also be going to the local council as they are part venture in this with city fibre and vodafone.

I received a sales call in the week from vodafone asking whether I wanted to add the landline and broadband to my mobile package. When the salesman was going through my mobile account with me, we realised that I had been charged £20 per month from March for a bolt on for Broadband that I had requested as a once off- and yet Vodafone had continued to charge me £20 for the bolt on as an additional monthly charge. He told me that to get the money refunded since I had not requested an ongoing bolt on, then I should ring customer services. Which I did today- Well after being on the phone with a representative for over 35 minutes all she managed to do was cancel the bolt an and offer me a compensation of £30 in credit- despite the fact that I had been charged almost £100 for a bolt on, that I had not requested. She tried to insinuate that it was actually my fault that it had been ongoing because I should have checked my bill! I have been with vodafone for over 20 years and to receive this kind of unhelpful and unapologetic treatment from them is entirely unacceptable. I have now cancelled my broadband and my landline and as soon as the contract for my mobile expires, I will cancel and take my business elsewhere. I cannot believe that they have not seen fit to reimburse me in full when the error was theirs and they can clearly see from my usage that the bolt on was only purchased at a time that my landline/ home broadband was not working, and waiting for BT to repair it which was in fact less than one month. The fact that they continued to charge me £20 per month after that and will now not refund me is disgusting and entirely unacceptable and reeks of daylight robbery!

Every month Vodafone fails to take our money via direct debit and then suspends our broadband. We have given them the correct details over and over again. Every time they insist they have the correct details and then proceed to use a different number. WHAT MORE CAN WE DO TO ENSURE THAT YOU TAKE OUR MONEY?

Absolute joke. They will take every penny they can of you. I've had a sim only contract for years, been on the last price plan for nearly 2. All of a sudden, it doubled in price. £40 for 18 gig data and unlimited minutes and texts. You can get a really nice phone paying this price monthly. Vodafone claimed in the small print of my contract it says there is discount applied. Cancelled my contract with them to find out I have to pay for another 30 days. Absolutely disgusted. £120 for 2 months of 18G, unlimited texts and minutes and to cancel.

this is by far the worst customer service i have ever come across, i had a dongal sim only for £15 a month the dongal is very rarely used but i received a bill for £145 when i queered it i was told that i used over my allowance and was charged £6.50 per gig never explained when i took this contract out, so i asked if i could spread the payment they said i could over 6 months but with no data service i waited nearly 2 hours to sort this out finally manage to speak to the most rude obnoxious patronizing person called Erin who insulted me and talked over me whilst trying to speak i decided to pay for the bill on my credit card and cancel my contract i was told i had a £112 cancellation charge i gladly paid that as well just to get free of this company by far the worst company anyone could have the misfortune to deal with Be warned

After many years with Vodafone, saying I was a first class customer and yet for the past 12 months I had been unable to get into my account to question extras charges. So much so I had to request an email for a detailed account for me check on my bill. Spending many many hours on chat line over a period of many months they were still unable to give me access to my account. On one occasion when they were trying to set up a new account they miss spelt my name locking it up. Going into the local Vodafone shop although my account was on line the staff spent 45 minutes trying to sort it out to no avail and then suggested I went back on line. After numerous recorded letters to them and receiving numerous text letters from them with promises my account would be closed so I could open as new, each time this failed even after quoting the special number I had been given, they had no record of it. Three months previously I had renewed my contract, no copy of contract was received. Having previously a kept all my texts over several mouths months, I told them if after ten days they had not sorted my account, I would leave. On July 1st my new mobile supplier rang on my behalf to ask for a pac number, she immediately past the phone to me and I was asked for my pin number, which I told them I did not have. After security checks I was told that as I had broken my contract I would have to pay balance. Knowing these calls are recorded I emphasized they had broken the contract by not giving me access to my account. The same thing was said again and I repeated they had broken the contract not me and I would not be paying. As the speaker phone was on the staff with me could hear everything along with customers waiting. Both them and a customer said what a lousy customer service and how rude they were. Changing over I sent a payment for the month of July in good faith only then to get a bill for over a hundred pounds. Taking it to arbitration with copies of letters and texts. Vodafone stated I asked for a final price to leave them, my reply was that was a total lie as I had emphasized twice on that day, they had broken the contract not me. My above statement would obviously be on record they could not produce anything else. With regard to my appeal, it appears that the requirement to be able to see my account is not part of the contract. even if it had been it did not justify a reason for leaving early. Who would deal with such a company when you can not see your bill detail before paying. I lost my case, but was was awarded damages on the grounds of 13 mouths of stress and very poor customer service. This amounts to nearly as much as they demanded with threats of court action and bailiffs. So they will pay themselves to clear my account. They have been also instructed to give me a written apology for the horrendous customer service and stress they have given me. I now get the best service from a competitor at a cheaper price thank you Vodafone I should have moved earlier.

Sent to a closed store for a warranty issue, had to drive 12 miles to another store, lied to about my repair.... Mucked about over a replacement handset, given a broken temporary phone, my original phone could not be repaired so gave me a SCRATCHED secondhand phone, lied to about compensation, had my consumer rights broken and sent to deadlock, Honestly best avoided

The worst experience ever in Luton shop. The manager totally ignore you. Start conversation gives you a phone to call yourself customer service and gone.... no one looks after you. Spending 1,5 hr in the shop on the phone with customer service and staff ignoring you just passing phone over form one person to another. This is a joke. I have 2 mobile contracts with Vodafone and wanted to get home broadband which again service was rubbish. I've asked for a refund for engeeneer visit and no one could do it. They charged me within a second but no refund facility is available. Engeeneer visit rubbish, could not get broadband working for 4 days . Everyone lies to you and ignore you pretending they doing a job. Very disappointed with this visit, especially with manager service. Manager should be always on the floor helping staff and customers not hiding in the back office
