“These change plates are exactly what I needed. Quality plates and rubber so they don't mar my barbell. I could not believe how quickly they arrived even with free shipping. I couldn't be happier with these plates.”

“I purchased the Alpha Bumper Plates as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend and he loved them! At first I was a little unsure of making the purchase because he is a bit of an equipment snob and I am not to familiar with what the ideal bumper plate would be. I lucked out! He loved them so much he can't wait to purchase an additional 1000 lbs of plates! Thank you Vulcan for an amazing product that looks great too!”

“I've owned this bar for more than an year now. I have really come to enjoy the whip and thing it has more than the Eleiko bar I use at another barbell club. Knurl is nice and i dont tape for hook grip because it is sticky, yet easy on the skin. I will say that though I would like the center one just a touch more aggressive (for back squat stickiness). Guys at the box will grab it if I'm not around and dont mind sharing. It is durable and still spins way smooth. I use for everything from WODs, to classic oly, and power-lifting.”

“Just got this bar in as a replacement for the V1 bar I had. This bar feels amazing, I really like the finish compared to the first one I had. The knurling is great, not too sharp, but deep enough for a good solid grip. Vulcans Customer Service is great as well as they sent me this bar as a direct replacement for the V1 I had that had a rare warrenty issue. If this bar is an upgrade from the V1 then it will be by far the best bar I will ever use, the V1 was the bar I used for everything and so will this. The rotation is awesome, and the flex is great. Thank you so much for making a great product and sticking behind it. I recommend your bars to everyone I know.”

“I am very pleased with the set of 5's and 2 1/2's I purchased. The plates fit my bars well, appear to be sturdy and aesthetically are pleasing. And they have no objectionable odor! The purchase process was easy and they arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Very satisfied overall.”

“The Vulcan OSO barbell collars appear to be everything and more as advertised on Vulcan's website. The first thing that sold me was the fact that they're aluminum (as opposed to plastic) and made in the USA as I am so tired of the junk made outside this country in you know where. In addition, the collars are very light weight and slip on/off the bar with relative ease. Based upon how well made they are, I believe these collars will serve me well in many years to come. A good example of 'You Get What You Pay For' and in this case, the collars were worth every penny!”

“The name "Standard" fits this barbell. This is how most barbells should be. Sturdy, tough, and reliable are a few more words to describe it. I have waited before giving this review to put it through most of my workouts to see how it really performs. Just picking it up you can tell its sturdy and can handle some weight thrown on it. It is spinning better every workout as it gets more broken in. I didn't know how I would like no center knurling since I do heavy back squats but honestly, I haven't even really noticed. Speaking of knurling, again, I would call this standard knurling. Very grippy and not sharp. I personally like more aggressive knurling but just a matter of opinion. If you are looking for a high quality multi purpose bar without breaking the bank, just go ahead and go for this one. You won't be sorry!”

“I have only had this bar for a couple of weeks, but so far it is great! If you have a junk, commercial bar and are looking to upgrade to a low-end, serious bar, this is an excellent choice from what I can tell. It does really spin, which, compared to the random old bar I was using, makes a huge difference in getting under a clean or snatch.”

“It"s nice to own and use collars that dont "pop" open or slide down the Barbell sleeve after only a couple of drops from shoulder/overhead. Great product happy to own a set, will be buying more because their solid!”

“I started with a single pair of Vulcan V Lock change plates. After that purchase, I was so impressed with the quality of goods produced by Vulcan that I've purchased a full set of kettlebells and over 700 lbs of Alpha bumpers and another 280 lbs of black bumpers. They serve slightly different purposes, but you can't go wrong with either. These are the best black bumpers on the market hands down. I've sold off all of my other bumpers and change plates. Need to put a Vulcan bar to the test soon.”
