“I had read about this barbell. And it really lived up to my hopes. It spins pretty well - especially well for a bushing barbell - and the whip is really noticeable. The knurling is so comfortable and yet the grip you get is really positive because the special dense matte chrome finish gives plenty of friction. In terms of hand-feel and whip this is such a comfortable barbell. Its not flexible by any means nor does it feel soft. Its just that realistically for people like me who don't lift at competition levels the slightly increased whip at lower weights is appreciated. This barbell really is perfect for me.”

“I bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves it and it is holding up wonderfully. When it is time for a new bar for myself, I will definitely be going with a Vulcan bar instead of a Rogue Bar.”

“I bought the Elite primarily as a deadlift bar. I wanted a bar that had some whip to help off of the floor and was strong enough to handle big weights. I was pleasantly surprised. The Elite has great whip, but feels very strong. Some complain about the finish, but I like it and to be frank aesthetics is not high on my list of priorities when purchasing a barbell. The bar has excellent knurling, whip and strength. I really enjoy using it.”

“Been buying Vulcan products and, like everything else, these plates are fantastic quality. It doesn't get any better at this price point. In fact, it's no better at higher levels. Best I can tell these are the only game in town and would be difficult to improve upon.”

“First, these are high quality weights--I got them, wiped them off, and used them the same day. Low bounce, quiet, good for drops, and they are very sturdy. The weight variances are all quite accurate, too. Vulcan may not get as much mention as Rogue or Fringesport, but they really are offering a superior product at a better price. These bumpers are perfect for any setting from a garage gym to a commercial affiliate or strongman dungeon. Also, Vulcan helped me out when FedEx lost my first shipment: they took care of everything, and the replacement set was delivered speedily. I will recommend Vulcan to anyone who's looking to purchase fitness equipment, and I expect I'll buy from them again in the future.”

“So far they feel great, and they are all really top quality. Throwing them around and they have reacted really well. The color is great, and the sleeve is really great and slides great making removal fantastic. I have definitely used better bumpers, but for the price they are absolutely worth every penny and probably more.”

“Very impressed so far. Just got them and they look great. I have not used them yet but just got them unpacked. I was very happy with the customer service. There were some problems with the shipping company but Vulcan worked very hard to try and fix the situation. Will need some time before I can say a whole lot about the plates or bar, but impressed so far.”

“160lb set, Rogue C70 bar, 2 x 28lb / 2 x 40lb chains: Smells at first. Not horrible but you'll notice it in the air. After two days, had to put my nose on the plate to smell it. Other than that, color scheme is nice and vibrant. Definitely catches your attention and says, "Hey. Lift me!”

“I had shopped online obsessively for months making sure I was getting the best bang for the buck. Vulcan had the best prices with free shipping, even compared to other sites sales prices. Shipping was fast. I ordered late on a Friday evening and they were on my doorstep Tuesday afternoon. The quality is outstanding. I got the standard bar and so far it is the best bar that I have used, better than anything I've used at many crossfit gyms. The bumpers had very low odor and were right on weight or within 0.5%. Quality and service were great and I will not be wasting anymore time shopping around, Vulcan will be my first choice from now on. Quality, price, and service, not much else I can ask for.”

“I bought the 260 lbs back in January. I absolutely loved them that I had to get another set and want more weight so I bought the 340 lbs set. Very durable, little bounce and they don't make much noise when you drop them.”
