“I bought this set and have had no regrets. The quality of the Vulcan bumpers is outstanding and the price is exceptional! These bumpers arrived quickly too! All in all I am very happy with my Vulcan bumpers!”

“After looking around to the point of exhaustion I came to the conclusion that when considering price vs quality, these are the best around. The time from purchase to delivery wasn't as short as I wanted it to be. However, that was because the 45 lb bumpers were on backorder. That being said, the time it took for Vulcan to receive new 45 lb bumpers and ship them was still relatively fast. The plates (45, 25, 10) I ordered are straight and solid. The inner ring is well set in place and smooth. All around pleased. These are great quality plates that shouldn't give anyone a reason not to believe that they will last them a lifetime as long as they use them as intended.”

“I got them one week ago and I left them outside under the sun for five days because the smell was somehow strong and I am going to use them indoor, in my living room, not in the garage. Now the smell is gone and I enjoy immensely these low bounce plates. Ad the price is very convenient too.”

“We purchased the 280 lb bumper plates for our home gym and we are VERY pleased with them. We shopped around for a set of plates for a while and Vulcan had the best price and free shipping....you can't beat that! The plates were backorded when we purchased them but once the plates came in they shipped very quickly. There was a problem with the shipper losing 2 boxes and Vulcan was very quick to respond and sent out new weights. Vulcan's customer service was top rate! The plates are well-made and we recommend others in the market for bumper plates to buy Vulcan's weights!”

“I just received my Vulcan "Black" 15kg Women's Training Olympic Bearing Barbell today. So you can imagine my surprise when the bar was chrome! I called Vulcan and they assured me I had a better bar,which may be the case, but it is still confusing to say the least. (See Lauren A.'s review.) The description talks about the black oxide finish and the picture and video show the black bar. Afterwards I realized that the specifications say chrome and it does say new version in chrome at the top, but I took that to be an entirely different bar. Clearly the product name and the website needs some updating.”

“I'm very pleased with this set. Though it's only been a few weeks, they seem like very durable, sturdy bumpers that will have a long life. They look and feel great. I had one question about my shipment and I got a response to my email almost immediately, even though it was pretty late at night. I appreciate Vulcan's attention to detail and quality products. I will be buying more in the future.”

“I've been using this bar for the past month, and love it. Knurling is aggressive without being too sharp or deep. It provides great contact with the bar without being uncomfortable. Spin is comparable to much more expensive bars, like my Werksan competition bar; it spins smoothly without the excessive play sometimes round on cheaper bearing bars.”

“High quality bar for exceptional price. Packaging was good and very prompt. Good spin. Everything you'd want in an economy priced multi-use barbell for crossfit with olympic and light(er) powerlifting. Nice finish. The black Oxide does scratch fairly easily, but not super noticeable and this is purely cosmetic.”
