“Excellent bar for the price.The black zinc is flaking off the ends from sliding the plates on and off....but who cares....I certainly don't. This bar is GREAT....if you are thinking of buying one...do it! You will not be sorry!”

“I bought this bar for my home gym because I decided it was time to upgrade from my cheap bar I'd been using the last couple years and this has been a fantastic upgrade. This bar is amazingly quiet and tight. You can drop it and it makes little to no noise. The spin is fantastic and the knurl is perfect for those who do all rep ranges. Enough knurl for heavy pulls but not so much that high rep work (20+) tears up your hands. Add all these to the fact that the bar is so competitively priced for its quality and that Vulcan has free shipping and it is, in my opinion, the best economy bar on the market and can compete with many bars far more expensive. Would give 6 stars if I could.”

“Great bar for the price. The black finish on the sleeves gets lightly marked up each time a plate is added or removed, but this does not effect performance. The performance of the bar from feel, knurl, spin and whip are excellent. Definitely recommend the bar. The purchasing experience was quick and easy as well.”

“After shopping around a bit and not wanting to spend a ton of money on a new bar, I opted for this one. Although the grip is thinner than I am used to, this is a good bar for the price. Ships fast. Definitely recommend.”

“Seriously twice the bar of any bar I've lifted on in this price range. Bar feels solid, sleeves don't slide or rattle from side to side, spin is amazing, and the black zinc seems especially deep and dark; very nice looking. Very happy with this bar.”

“Great product. Packaging was very secure. Be warned, the plates are 100% rubber not steel core. This means they will be larger than your average change plate in diameter. Weight is accurate and I have no concern of paint flaking or damage to my barbell.”

“I tried to send my review but was told I was 600 some words over the allowance. My review was completely positive and I am annoyed to edit it. Your product is outstanding. I was planning on spending less than half what I paid. I don't regret my purchase, these are a great value, precision cut they fit like a honeymoon, V-LOCK mould into each other, large mass adds leverage, quiet for insomnia with frontal lobe neuropathy and fracture to C-3. Prompt service and followup. Fantastic.”

“I ordered the 350# bumper plate set. Price was great and the transaction was smooth. I especially liked the free shipping. I was informed a day after my purchase that my order was out of stock and would be delayed but Amanda told me about a great sale on the colored plates and how I could upgrade for a modest price and they would be shipped the next day. Sure enough a couple of days later and they were waiting for me in front of my garage on a pallet (which I also needed incidentally) Great experience from start to finish. Can't wait to finish my platform and put these to good use. Will definitely be purchasing from Vulcan again.”

“I received my pair last week and I have used them in a couple sets of kettlebell long cycle, they fit fine, feel good, and deliver as advertised. I have let a couple other people use them and they have also like them. I would recommend this product to other people that have a hard time with the turn over or are still new to the sport.”
