“Lovely setting, sunny deck outside the bar/restaurant, good facilities & comfortable room for our short break. Would probably book one of their lodges next time if we stay for longer.”

“Lodge was brilliant and the staff in reception couldn't have been more helpful. Also the Waveney Inn was ideal and again the staff were extremely friendly. All in all a lovely stay.”

“Nice location peaceful during our stay. Good food in the Waveney Inn. Internet coverage poor. Showers, toilets and pool clean.. Small silly repairs needed in some showers, soap tray and wall fittings missing and not replaced. Undergrowth in area of electric hook up needs clearing. Crew staff all very helpful. Would stay again without hesitation.”

“Lovely lodge, everything you could possibly want a home from home in a peaceful setting with lovely views. Hot tub was great but a little over looked, this can do with more screening. Onsite pub great for a meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definately go back again.”

“Lovely location, great pub food, pleasant lodge. Closer attention needed to cleaning and unruly other guests marred an enjoyable weekend. Great place to watch birds and get away from it all.”

“Really good site with access to walks and pool. Would like the shop and pub to open earlier so that breakfast could be sourced. Generally when camping children are up and around early. Access to a fridge of sorts would be a suggested improvement. A warning about late charges if delayed on boat hire would have been appreciated.”

“Rooms excellent. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Food okay but a bit pub grub and deep fried. Perhaps a review of menu to bring it more up to date. Waiting staff at breakfast a bit slap dash. Staff served breakfast whilst wearing outside coat. Breakfast served on cold plates and was barely warm when it arrived. Staff maybe need supervision! Overall we enjoyed our weekend.”

“We were very happy with the site and facilities, good outlook, and kept clean, friendly staff. However the approach/access road was in very poor condition with a number of pot holes, could be improved. Very disappointed with a meal at the Waveney Arms, food was cold, undercooked and greasy, both myself and my partner felt ill afterwards. We would however return to the site for another visit, just not to the Waveney Arms.”
