“This was our first visit to Waveney and I have to say, my wife, son and I all found the lodge a great size, the site facilities good and the staff all very helpful and friendly. The food at the on-site Inn was well worth the price charged too. My son in particular enjoyed the two half days we spend boating. Had it not been for a dirty ashtray on the decking and a general feel that the lodge hadn't had a full clean before we arrived I would have happily given Waveney 5 stars rather than 4.”

“The hotel rooms were 5 star. The area was lovely and there were lots of things to do. The restaurant maybe could do with a bit of an upgrade but the food was lovely and service was excellent.”

“Helpful, friendly staff not just at the site but also when we booked as we had some questions about wheelchair access (which was very good at the Bungay Spa Lodge). Shame about the problem with TV reception in the hot weather. Might be better if each property had its own satellite (Freesat) aerial rather than use your centralised feeder.”

“Yurt was lovely. Comfortable and clean. Pool area nice. Site well looked after. Was disappointed to find that the communal cooking tent advertised on the website doesn’t exist. The on-site shop could be better stocked.”

“We love this place! The views are so tranquil and relaxing... The facilities and the staff are really good. Only down side is they have a £100 holding fee (I thought!) if you break any of the rules, noise after 10 etc. which I am happy to accept. Only trouble is, they actually debit the amount straightaway and refund it back to you in a weeks time. I think this is a disgusting and unfair system. We did nothing wrong and yet I have to wait a week before I get it back!!! I thought that they kept your card details to debit from it if we did something wrong but no, they take it now. They need to change this as it's not fair at all. A very disappointing end to what was a beautiful weekend.”
