Very nice place. Lodges were lovely but the tc reception was awful. Spent most nights watching ipad. But I couldn't fault the staff or accommodation.

Had a lovely stay with our family and friends, loved the pool the play area and being so close to the water. The facilities where clean and all seemed to work well. Our only Complaint would be we had take away pizza and they where awful. They where like a very cheap frozen pizza, not a lot of flavour very basic and not what we expected after having a lovely lunch in the pub restaurant early that day. Please please improve your pizzas .

The accommodation was first class, but the landscaping around the lodges need to be kept on to of ie weeds.

Staff all friendly and helpful. Accomodation clean and well presented. Grounds being attended too, so a work in progress, would have liked our bird feeder filled. (we couldn't get to it) The Inn needs to stock a wider range of ales, drinks, etc or not run out of the ones they have. WiFi very patchy, great if you want to disconnect from work, media etc, not so good if you need it. For these reasons 4 stars out of 5. Overall if peace and quiet is your thing very good.

Lovely lodge even though the outside could do with a little attention. The lodge was spotless inside. The staff were all very helpful and very friendly. The beds are very high and we had the Bungay wheelchair accessible and my sister who is quadriplegic cerebral palsy and was unable to get onto the single bed due to its height, I called reception and it was sorted straight away. It was great for all the adaptions for her, ie toilet and shower and wide door ways. However if your unable to get out of your chair then the master bed you would have to crawl up the bed as its very narrow either side of the bed, your just able to walk up the sides. The country side views are lovely too. Watching cows, deers, herons and swans in the field in front of the lodge. You can't see the river just the odd sail boat passing but if you walk to the main centre you can. The only thing we weren't keen on was the single track lane with passing points on as every time you leave or return you have to travel 2 miles on, however we found other motorists very friendly and polite when travelling along the lane. This would certainly not prevent us from returning.

Just back from a Mon-Fri camping trip at this lovely little site. After a little bit of confusion as to where to check in (The signs say check in at reception which we did, only to be told it was the swimming pool reception we needed) we found our pitch, which was well kept and spacious. The facilities we in general very good, only the slightly tired look of the toilet/shower stalls and the luke warm water in the washing up stations being little let downs. The facilities are kept spotless throughout the day by the on site cleaning crew, so thanks to them for that. We will definitely be booking a return trip in the future.

Lovely setting and view was fantastic from our hotel window, staff helpful. Only disappointment was food at Inn.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The accommodation was cleaned to a high standard. Not 5 stars for the following: TV reception was not good and staff were unable to sort. I would advise that they get a satellite dish to help with the low signal strengthen or give each cabin a booster areal. Shame there no instructions as how to use hot tub or the kitchen equipment but this was no fault of the staff just due to COVID.

Very quiet site. A bottle of Apple juice and box of biscuits along with some tea bags, coffee sachets were in our lodge as a welcome. There was also a small cleaning pack dishwasher tablets washing up liquid and a couple of cloths. Hardly any choice of fresh / frozen food in shop forces you to eat at the on site Waveney Inn, luckily the food there is really good and quite reasonably priced with good portions. Our luxury lodge was tired and in need of updating. Beds were Very hard, sofas very soft. En-suite was unusable due to the awful smell. I sprayed air freshener in but it made no difference. We would come back again for a weekend in a different lodge and would bring food with us this time for breakfast and snacks. Sitting down by the river was very nice and relaxing.

Very good week at Waveney RC. As ever staff always helpful. Enjoyed a day on the river in a pilot boat. Toilet, shower cubicles could do with a tidy up but other than that well worth a visit.

It is a nice place to stay, you can rent a boat or swim (you need to book in advance), there's a play area and a foot ferry as well. However, you will need to book the restaurant in advance of your stay as when we turned up there wasn't any spaces and the takeaway to your room option which we were planning on they said they weren't doing because they were too busy - other pubs nearby were fully booked which left quite a drive out with young kids to find food. The breakfast was good though, and not too busy first thing as well. I wouldn't stay in the Aft room again, it says it has a limited river view but it has no view at all, the only view is of the back of the kitchens and generators and laundry - it also makes this room a bit noisy in the evenings and early mornings so you can't really have the window open with babies in tow. It was a nice room though with good facilities.

Site well presented and clean offering a varied type of accommodation to enjoy your holiday experience. Even our late arrival was no problem and the pitch easy to find and set up on. Hook facility was very closd to hand along with easy access to communal toilet block.

Lovely site by the river, great for boating and water activities. Staff lovely and friendly. Only slight criticism would be the toilets/shower blocks starting to look a little tatty and not all the showers had full power, but otherwise would definitely stay again.

A good spot for a rest and enjoyment of the river. The title of luxury hotel is a bit misleading - it’s good but not luxurious. Too many minor electrical faults and worn-looking furnishings to be called luxurious. The service in the eatery is variable - sometimes personable and very good and at other times disappointing.

We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff very friendly and helpful. There was a little bit of noise from the refrigeration unit when the room windows were open.

A great stay in the yurt. Beautiful weather, good facilities which were clean. We did have an ant problem in the yurt but I guess that comes with camping. Also, we didn’t have a blind to put in the middle circle of yurt. It was so bright early in the morning. Restaurant was delicious; we ordered a takeaway. We all felt safe and looked after. All the best in combating Covid!
