Very hard to find, down a one way track but once there it was lovely, the reception staff were very helpful.

We stayed in Loddon Lodge. The centre is nice and has the bonus of pub / restaurant and pool. We used the online ordering service and it was nice having food delivered to your accommodation. Although the site was busy - lodges, campers and caravaners it was quiet. The river is on your doorstep, however if you want a day boat or canoe - book in advance. The site is accessed down some narrow country lanes and the only disadvantage is the time it takes to get anywhere. Beccles is 8 miles away and is a trip of about 20 - 25 minutes by car. Morrison’s, Tesco and Aldi all close together. Plenty of walks close by. Staff are polite and helpful. Had a nice restful week

Lovely campsite and the staff were really helpful and accommodating. Chilly weather when we were here and the yurt was really cosy!

We loved our stay only feedback I can give is we stayed in pintail and was told it was a river view so we hoped to sit out on the river but it was full of reeds so you can’t actually see it. We took a canoe out and was told we had till 530 by staff to then get called asking where we are as it needed back at 5pm. After this we looked forward to a drink at the Waveney but unfortunately this was not possible neither and we called for take away food at 830pm but they told us it finished at 8. (The menu says 12-9). It was our first time camping and we live locally so just wanted to try the experience despite all of the above and the awful downpour we still enjoyed it.

We had a lovely time camping at the Waveney River Centre. Facilities were very good with a small shop, restaurant and bar on site. The only minor complaint is that our group had booked 3 camping pitches, and on arrival we asked to be situated next to each other, which could not be accommodated even though there was a pitch available next to our friends' pitch.

The staff were friendly approachable and couldn’t do more to help you. T hen canoeing was definetly our highlight. Great play park for the kids and in general a beautiful location. Lovely pub on site and super dog friendly. The site was quiet at night and the showers and toilets were impeccably clean. Only downside was the wasp colony we were camped next to which made it uncomfortable to sit by the tent at times. Would most definitely recommend to a friend.

Really enjoyed our stay despite windy weather: Good points: Pool lady really lovely & pool was A def bonus Reception staff were really friendly and 1 of the restaurant staff was Particularly nice-(lady with red hair) & food tasty (specials) Canoeing was great fun. Decent showers & wash up facilities Room for improvement- small pitches (but understand hard to easily solve), Stronger WiFi signal would be great More links with Suffolk wildlife trust might prove beneficial to you-eg ranger kids activities & arts/crafts partnering up with SWT across the river at Carlton Marshes.

We had a lovely escape 4 unit it was very nice one or two things need a rethink the kettle should be electric as gas hob one not ideal as it takes ages to boil then you cant hold handle as there is no oven gloves, toilet seats were very loose and wobbly . Sheets and towels were perfect also not sure why our neighbours in same unit (hales ) had a washer dryer but ours didn't which made it difficult with drying swimming stuff and towels . A lovely stay in Fritton apart from the few little glitches .

Lovely place in a great location with direct access to the broads. Decent onsite facilities (albeit Covid restrictions) and the lodge was excellent especially the hot tub!!!

Excellent facilities which were well maintained in line with Coronavirus guidelines. Was great to use the swimming pool with small numbers and the 30 minute sessions were just right. Lovely place to paddle from and for kids to mess around in the river. Good pitch size and Teal pitches next to facilities- but also next to playground so very noisy until late.

Nice place to stay camping place is very clean and tidy. Food in the restaurant seems a bit basic tho and I think £42 pound a night to park your camper van is too expensive. This is what is letting you down as most sites are £22

Very friendly staff, excellent service in the restaurant every time we went, good food too, breakfast was top notch! private showers, well designed layout, clean, comfortable escape pod, scenic location, lovely heated swimming pool, the only downside was that the tents were extremely crammed together with not enough space for socialising or chairs outside which I was very surprised at. The cars were right up next to the tents in some cases. It was not a big area overall and it's busy a lot of the time. Bittern pitch was much quieter, no power hook up but less noise, and right next to fields, lovely!. The escape pods are very close to the children's play area, so doesn't really feel like an escape when kids are screaming outside first thing in the morning. Not a complaint, but feel this could be mentioned on the website so people are aware this is not a quiet escape pod away from the noise. It's quite misleading. However, great for those with kids as they can watch over them while they play. Ferry was good, again staff brilliant.

Nice stay but I felt the toilets seemed a bit tired and need of an update.

The lodge was clean and comfortable - hot tub was cleaned every day. Due to Covid 19 the swimming pool had to be booked the day before and you only have 30 minute sessions, which was a shame. The food at the Waveney Inn wasn't great - microwaved meals - my veg lasagne was really overcooked. Staff all helpful though and friendly. The kettle in the lodge was an old fashioned stove top one and quite dangerous - should replaced with an electric one - everyone who used it was scolded (mildly but still..)

Truly responsive and excellent staff team who went above and beyond to sort an issue with an otherwise very good apartment. All friendly, welcoming and helpful and a credit to the lovely country/riverside site.
