Dealing with Wayfair is tedious. My light fitting came without bulbs as stated. They then said they didn't come with bulbs. Wouldn't just send bulbs but had to negotiate a refund. They have a policy of 'no goodwill gestures'. I had to give 3 reviews how their advisors dealt with my complaint but never addressed the fact that the company is tedious to deal with! Still haven't got my refund! Will never use again!

never leave bad reviews on companies but with wayfair and this product an exception is being made. By looking at reviews here I'm not the first I firstly waited well over the estimated delivery time for product. Once arrived I started to put together to find a couple screws missing, not an issue I work around that but then found a shelf missing. To make matters worse it clearly wasn't new as dirty on doors. I contacted Wayfair and waited ages for a reply then final got one. Product over £150 told they'd refund me a discount of £7.50, or me to dismantle after spending 2hrs putting up and go out my way to send back. So parts missing and clearly not new but I have to do everything. I spoke with I won't say names but told senior resolution manager, who claimed best they can do. I'd rather give it to a charity shop then except the £7.50 but even they might not want it. I'm that annoyed at the way wayfair have treated the issue. Customer service more like got your money don't care now. Looking at contacting directors but if anything like customer services they won't cares.

Sadly there are no options to leave a no star review, hence the one star! PLEASE avoid this company at all costs. We ordered a bed frame from them which arrived late. we arranged for someone to assemble it only for them to discover that there was a slat missing from the headboard. My husband is 71 with multiple sclerosis and we have been forced to sleep on a mattress on the floor, which has been horrendous. I have just been informed that the replacement will arrive no sooner than 10 days time. I complained online, I thought I was being offered a 15% refund as a goodwill gesture only need to be informed that Wayfair have a policy of no refunds regardless. I should also add that my husband had to drill holes where they weren’t any and once assembled the frame was so flimsy it has undergone reinforcing. I only wish that we were in a better situation which would enable us to return it and go elsewhere.Save yourself a lot of stress and heartache by ordering with a company that actually cares about their customers. You have been warned.

If I could give no stars - NEGATIVE STARS!!!!I Believe me I would. I have spent thousands of dollars over the past years at Wayfair. Recently, I had an order pending for a deck box and when checking status on my order, I saw that my charges were higher than I thouhgt. I thought it was on sale... So I called. I was told no, I ordered it at full price, which is weird because I normally don't do that, and I had not checked my confirmation email.. and so I pulled it up and It did reflect the full price. Then I started looking around their website and found that same item, posted 4 different ways. And on sale on all 4 posts. so I asked if they could change my order to reflect that sale price. Not only was my request refused, i was treated so badly i was shocked. I was going to cancel my order but after I hung up, I changed my mind, I really was looking forward to getting the deck box..I decided to keep it. I went on their website and tried to cancel that order cancellation, at LEAST 5 times, and kept getting an error message. OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG..... The system would not allow me cancel. I let UPS know - I wouldn't be home for any pick up and I had tried to stop the cancelation. Fast forward - I tried to place an order a few weeks ago for some bamboo fencing. I have found that I am now blocked on the Wayfair website. A friend of mine knew i was planning on the fencing and i told her about being blocked. She said she wanted to order it for me for my birthday. She ordered it to be delivered to my address and her order was canceled. No notice & no reason was given. Then she reordered it to be delivered to her own address.That order was canceled,as well.. No notice & no reason. They will not give her an explanation for why her orders are getting cancelled. Her association with me is what i thknk and I feel bad. I have no problem going elsewhere to shop.. I actually found the same product for less just yesterday! Wayfair does not deserve my money. They can block me all they want. But they don't have to do it to other people because of me. And I will give as many bad reviews as I possibly can.. any opportunity that comes up... I do share this story at every opportunity.. I am an excellent customer. I know this because I Have been in customer service my entire career. I provide excellent customer service now at my place of employment. I would NEVER EVEN CONSIDER treating customers the way I've been treated by Wayfair. Worst. Service. Ever. Unethical. Waste of time, money, and good energy. I can spend all that somewhere else.

These people are scammers!! Their customer service is the worst! First they sent me 2 different lamps. Then, they sent me only 1 label to return the lamps. So, I had to keep one of the lams that was missing pieces. Then, they sent me a second lamp that was also missing piece. I called both times, and yes, after the 30 days because I travel and I am not always home and they were completely inflexible and did not want to return the lamps that they sent wrong and broken in the first place. The supervisor I spoke with should not be working with customers and customers would not be returning things if you send quality products and the right products. They know nothing about customer service!

I bought a dresser. Told me it will be delivered in November. Now it is not coming until January. I tried to give Wayfair another chance. Before this I bought a dining room set that the glass was cracked. Never again will I order from them.

I always have problems with the customer service of Wayfair. I have spent thousands on the site, most recently for my niece's adopted children's bedsets. They send these flash promo codes to my android phone, and it shows the message before I log on to the phone, and then I can't retrieve it. When I contact them telling them I want to use the code, they always, always tell me "it expired yesterday and we can't give it to you." This has happened quite a few times. Then I ask if they can give me another promo code and they offer me less than $10 off if I order within 24 hours. Less than $10 off thousands. Also, avoid open box. These items are almost ALWAYS broken. When you notify them and they come pick it up, they re-deliver it to you, and if you don't call them again to come get it again, they will charge you for the broken furniture. As a result of this constant frustration, after buying 4 bedroom sets for the kids, I have stopped buying from them. They don't even TRY to help me.

It baffles me how Wayfair can be late with shipping for every large item people purchase, despite delivery guarantees at the time of sale, yet they never feel responsible when customers complain. Every other retailer is in a world apart. I can't think of a single retailer that would not make it right if they did something wrong, except Wayfair.

So ordered two bookcases. Waiting weeks, then receiving an email for the delivery date, only to have the delivery pushed back. Two heavy bookcases which, according to the third party delivery company will only deliver to my hallway. So I paid a lot of money for the items and delivery, only to have these items plonked in my hallway. Will not be purchasing from them ever again, customer service is appalling.

I cannot believe how bad this website is. I ordered 3 items from them: 1 was not the size advertised and it took them weeks to sort it out (and it's still advertised wrong), 1 has been delayed for weeks, yet my cancellations are constantly refused because the item is on its way. Today they finally accepted that it's lost so instead of cancelling it, they just automatically ordered a new one for me. The last one was delivered in the wrong place, and the instructions were inaccurate.

Huge disapointment in Wayfair company, given estimated delivery times are highy unreliable on the date we place orders (e.g. for latest order ETA in 1 week, received in 2 months). Moreover, price match policy highly flawed - we received the item finally (2 months after placing the order) and on the same day we noticed price discount on that item on wayfair website. Guess what - Wayfair refused to price match. Every other company that has discount on the purchased item on the day it is delivered are doing the price match!

dye made me wait for my infrared sauna for 5 weeks i must have rang them 10 times about this a day after they run out of stock it was all bulshit with dem why didn`t they tell me in a beginning when i order it there was telling me lies on the phone do not buy off dem they haven`t got any good reviews on trustpilt some people had the same trouble like me

I ordered a chair over a month ago, and it was supposed to arrive within 48 hours. DHL tracking initially said it would be delivered on Wednesday, so I took a day off work to wait for it. However, it never arrived and I didn't receive an explanation - waited the whole day! The delivery date was then suddenly changed to the next day, so I took another day off, but still, there was no delivery and no explanation. When I contacted Wayfair, they didn't have any information about what happened. On the third delivery attempt, the chair was left nowhere near my flat (as photographed by DHL) and in an area where thousands of people pass by, and unsurprisingly it got stolen. I had to involve the police to go through CCTV footage. The fourth delivery attempt didn't happen at all. In frustration, I changed the delivery location to a suggested drop-off point to make it easier for DHL (and pay for a taxi myself from drop off point to home). However, despite it being the fifth scheduled delivery date, there was no show, not even to the drop-off point. I'm still waiting for my chair. I've spent a lot of time on the phone with Wayfair and sent over 5 emails, but the replies I receive are generic and don't address the issues I've faced nor do they give me any clarification on why it has got to this point. I don't think I've experienced anything like it before. Essentially, I've paid for the chair, but I still don't have it. The latest response from customer service is to wait and reassess the situation when it arrived. When I asked, 'when will it arrive?' they didn't respond! It's been an awful experience with customer service, and there's been no resolution. I regret buying the chair from Wayfair because it seems like no one is taking my issue seriously or willing to help, but they are more than happy to keep my money. I have been incredibly patient and understanding, but after the fifth failed delivery, countless hours chasing, emailing, phoning, two non paid days off work, and a lot of time speaking to the police, I am now just fed up.

Wayfair has input a ban on my account for no reason when I ask for the updates of delivery schedule and they tell me they ban me because they cannot give me a update. They say I am better buying from a brick and mortar. I have all your emails saved. No matter how many items you have in your website, I have understand that i will never buy from you again.

I placed an order at Wayfair for a stove Then 11 days later when I checked on the tracking It said my order was canceled! After a few attempts to contact Wayfair I was told the ad was a "mistake" And they tried to sell me similar stover for over 6 times the price of what I paid It is the old bait and switch scam I thought that Wayfair would honor the ad since they posted it but I was wrong They are not a good company and I will never buy from them again I closed my account with them and I am telling everyone about my experience with them And every single person has said they should have honored their ad It was just the right thing to do Every Single One! Do not buy from them! They could still be having "mistakes" in their ads

Buyer, beware! I recently ordered a sofa online and was promised free delivery, presumably to my living room as a rational consumer might expect. Instead, Wayfair through FedEx, dumped my product about a quarter mile away because FedEx would not deliver to my building. I talked to Wayfair about this, and they stonewalled me telling me they would not take it back except at my expense, apparently, if I wanted it delivered to my living room, that would also be at my expense. I talked to their low level, inventory manager, Katie, who sarcastically mocked me for being an attorney, and insulted me, saying, in effect, that despite the fact that you're an attorney, we are still going to stiff you. Bring it on, she said. She said that if they dumped it anywhere on the property, that was delivery. Including a rain-soaked parking lot, or the dumpster? Also, she said, take it up with FedEx, which is ridiculous and insulting, because FedEx already said they wouldn't deliver it and I have no monetary recourse through FedEx. So that advice is just a fascist stonewall. Well, I reported Katie's comments to the bank, and they issued me a temporary refund, which I don't intend to give back until Wayfair delivers on their contract to deliver that sofa. It says on the website touting Wayfair as a wonderful company that they will always give you your refund in a reliable manner. Baloney! They will stiff you and insult you until you give in. Thank you, arrogant Katie, for helping me get my refund. And congratulations on being a pitbull of a low level inventory manager. Oh, and they canceled my order of assembly, possibly because they realized that the sofa would not be in any position to be assembled. After I paid for it , I saw the next day my order is back ordered 4 months. I called wayfair and told them it was unacceptable, they told me they have a department dealing with it and also told they were confident that it will arrive much sooner than the shown delivery date. 3 days later I saw that my order was cancelled by myself which I have never cancelled. Reached out to wayfair they said there is nothing they could do, they tried to reach out to the company but could not so they cannnceled my order. However the company has a lot of other furniture ilisted with wayfair for very high prices. They offered me no compensation , when I asked for it, they send me a ten percent discount they should send me a fifty percent at least. Becouse all items' prices were increased at that time and we missed the labor day sale, which did not help at all. Horrible experience, they do not care at all. We had a night stand arrive that was clearly a return. It was damaged on all surfaces and was even taped together on the back with packing tape. Ordered a rug and was given a delivery date. It did not arrive and was given another delivery date a week later. On the day of delivery I received an email from Wayfair saying my order had been cancelled ‘as requested’ !! The customer service agent on their chat facility was, to be fair, very helpful and informed me the order had been cancelled as the item was out of stock. At the time of writing I’m still waiting for my refund to be processed. My first and last experience with Wayfair! (I then ordered a similar item from Dunhelm which was delivered within 3 days).

I have been waiting for over a year for an item that i ordered, when I call they change the due date and they it does not show up. I call again and they change it again. It has gone on for over a year now with no resolution. It is no surprise that their stock is down from over $300 a share to less then $80 a share. Signs of poor management.
