“We were very happy with the service we received from Welcome Pickups. We were given €5 discount so we paid €38 each way which we felt was a good price. The driver on the return journey Alekos Alexiou was prompt, smart and polite and spoke very good English. The taxi was immaculate inside and out. The driver, Aposotolis, who picked us up from the airport to Glyfada also had the same qualities and again the taxi was immaculate. We were last to retrieve our suitcases but he was still waiting for us. What I liked about Welcome Pickups was the photograph of the driver which was shown on your itinerary which made us feel safe. I will always use Welcome Pickups whenever in Athens again and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them. We feel good service is worthy of a good review.”

“Excellent reliable service. Price agreed and paid up front. We received an email in advance confirming the name of our driver along with his photograph. We also received a text when we landed confirming he had arrived at the airport and was waiting in arrivals area. He was there with our name on a sign and the taxi was parked just outside. The driver took our luggage. The driver was pleasant and friendly and had a very welcome complementary cold bottle of water waiting for us in the taxi. There was no extra charge even though our flight was a little late in disembarking.”

“George was a great driver. He was extremely nice and very helpful. It's a bit of a drive from the airport to anywhere in Athens and he utilized the time to answer all our questions and fill us in on current weather. It felt like we were seeing a friend again when he came to pick us up for our departure. Great service, thanks.”

“Very professional service. Booking online is hassle free. Once booked details will be mailed and driver's detailed information is notified two days before our journey. With the available call center, it is easy for making changes to booking. The drivers are very professional, kind and friendly. They help you in planning the trip and useful information. If you are planning for Athens, i strongly recommend to opt for welcome pickups.”
