Wickes promised me a kitchen but did not expect it to take 3 months to arrive. Don’t go to Wickes for your kitchen. Very stressful experience for myself and my builder. Customer service bad quality. Promises they could not keep. Too many texts and then cancelling delivery the day before. No sink to install worktop. Unbelievable, even at the very top the CEO David Wood office. They don’t appreciate their customers enough to spend that kind of money. Never had such a bad experience like this.

We ordered a kitchen back in February from wicks and obviously because of covid the fit was pushed back. We finally received delivery of the kitchen in early June although a number of items were still missing. The fit didn’t commence until almost two weeks later meaning that one of the rooms in are house was unable to be used with no communication from the wicks office as to time frames. The time frame for the fit given to us was two weeks this stretched out to over three weeks again with no communication from the office. The fit in general was to a good stand but still a few things that we let go as this process had allready taken any enjoyment and excitement out of having a new kitchen. One issue we had was the fact that the boiler unit was fitted out of level meaning it was catching on the worktop. The fitter came to fix this issue but instead of levelling the unit just lifted the hinges with screws resulting in using the wrong length coming through the unit. Now we are currently in the process of waiting for a signal panel to hide the damage made to the unit this should of been ordered a month ago yet still waiting on delivery. 6months has gone and still the kitchen is not complete the office are not responsive promise the world but follow through with none of the promises made all in all this has been a very stressful and upsetting experience Advice to anyone is to not release any money to wicks until 100% happy and don’t take up the interest free credit as this means they get there money before completing the fit resulting in them no longer seeing you as a priority

Absolutely horrendous experience with customer service, several members of the team have mislead us and actually told us outright lies. They do no respond to emails regarding our issues with them, we are out of pocket over £1,000 due to their errors and all they will say is "it is unfortunate".

Have shopped in Wickes for many years but they've taken their eye off the ball. Experience in shop today where an item was marked one price and they tried to charge more. Then he couldn't leave till to check. All very last century. Will be shopping at Screwfix in future whenever possible.

Brentwood store is terrible - both with click and collect (have had two recent orders when been phoned back several hours later to be told no stock available) and in-store. Customer service also very poor (vs other DIY chains). Clearly hasn't used the benefit of increased DIY demand to invest in either store or staff

What a shambles. Their website's checkout provided nowhere to enter card numbers (i.e. no way to pay them). Their telephone sales people were able to put the transaction through after taking my details, but then I got an email saying "Regrettably, we are unable to process your order on this occasion."

Excellent service from Samantha at Wicks Taunton. She located a spare part for our Loo and arranged delivery straight away. She rang the following day to advise us when the delivery would be done. Part and delivery free and the was fitting was out of its guarantee Such brilliant customer service and many thanks again.

Brilliant prompt curtious service from wickes, from phone call to customer services, where I didn't have to wait too long to receive advice from a helpful, factual advisor, to prompt delivery within 2 days Mike the flat load delivery man delivered plaster board this morning, phoned beforehand, then arrived with a smiley polite manner and very efficiently and swiftly manouverd the plasterboard onto our drive. All shrink wrapped in plastic to keep the weather off.. Pleasant surprise. Couldn't have asked for better service.. Thankyou Mike and wickes 😊

Incredibly rubbish service in store online and on the helpline .Ist issue still not resolved wrong paint given and as the label was covered (colour was the same ) I didnt realise, decided to crack on with the woodwork and the paint is unusable. If I wanted to coat my woodwork with opaque p.v.a then I would .Unfortunately for me this was a quick dry white satin which I brought 2.5 litres of to do all my doors with .The back says that on already white paint may need 1 coat , well I've used half the tin (1.25 litres) on one door which is really patchy with drips. All texture no colour . All the methods below were used to communicate .

Extremely disappointed with the way our online order was handled. We were told that our product (a cooker hood costing £900) would be delivered within 14 days of order. When this date passed we went on track our order to find out the lead time had been extended to 28 days without us being told. After the 28 days again with no update we e-mailed Wickes and were told that the supplier was having difficulty sourcing the item, so delivery would now take place some seven weeks after the order. We e-mailed back advising that we were incurring extra costs for the hood to be installed in our new kitchen after the rest of the project was completed and Wickes never responded to our e-mail. When we were advised that the hood was again delayed we have cancelled the order. While we realise that, in the current Covid epidemic, logistics are difficult, we received absolutely no after sales service from Wickes whatsoever. We would advise anyone reading this to avoid Wickes like the plague.

I'm currently in dispute over some tiles with colour mismatch in the same batch/stock number - won't go into details.....However I just can't believe how defensive and aggressive the help line/customer service people are. Their default position is to defend Wickes to the hilt in the face of obvious failure to supply goods fit for purpose. They have told me to stand down my tiler at £200 p day - but refuse to accept any liability/costs until the manufacturer responds. This could be 48hrs +....and the odds are they will find in their own favour, putting me out of pocket. Its another example of big company bullying. I've saved for this bathroom for 18 months. With so much choice out there, its a wonder these clowns are still in business. If I'd have seen all the negative reports here prior to ordering, I would definitely have thought twice.

Twice I have ordered and paid for goods and twice they have failed to deliver the ordered goods. The first time in July I was told they had been sold my paid for goods to someone else and that my requested date of delivery was too far in advance - 10 days! This time they delivered a cheaper and thinner floor board to what I had ordered and paid for. Perhaps I should have learned my lesson from July. Clearly if you want the correct item you have to get it yourself from in store 😢😡😢😡😢

Ordered flooring for delivery. Took day off work nothing turned up rang wickes following day and had to chase carrier as No contact from wickes as to non delivery. In the end purchased elsewhere and then advised cancelled flooring would be credited within a week 14 days later still no refund. Just received a call from customer services who kept telling me about their company procedures like a robot nothing about customer service. Disgusting company would give no stars if I could

Isn't it funny? Organisations who have signs saying that foul and abusive language with their employees are always the ones that offer the worst service. Wickes has it. Terrible customer service. Actually to use the word service is a sleight on proper companies who actually offer a service. I'm not condoning the use of foul and abusive language; just that where service is so S**T, it's all the more likely to be the result. Pick your ideas up. Then take the signs down!!!
