We had good crossings on both Sat 25th March at 6am Portsmouth to Fishbourne and again Sat 1st April 9am Fishbourne to Portsmouth.

Wightlink are very good Loading and unloading is excellent the team are on the ball every time we over the price is not very reasonable I paid for my crossing but when I came back early I had to pay an extra £28 when the boat was very empty I don't think it's fair

It all comes down to price! Crossing needs to be cheaper as I use red funnel on other trips! This is easier and faster but so expensive please reduce your prices!!

Everyone is always very polite and helpful at Lymington and Yarmouth and it's a really easy terminal to travel from. The only reason that it doesn't get a five is that there's no discount for frequent travel in a vehicle between the mainland and the island.

Good service over all. Less impressed with policy insisting that disabled people have to telephone two days before to ensure access to lift and be allowed to travel.

Hi Sara-Jane Thank you very much for taking the time to rate and review our service. We advise customers booking assistance on the ferry to let us know 48 hours in advance so we can make sure that the request can be met and help customers to rearrange their booking if there's a problem (such as if all the lift access spaces are already full). You can also now book lift access and other help through our passenger assistance page online if that's easier than calling. Don't forget that if you have a Blue Badge you can also get a discount on the cost of your ticket, just check our website for details. Thanks again for travelling with us and happy new year!

Easy booking service, good clean facilities on the ferry. I would make more trips if the cost was cheaper.

The overall service is excellent in terms of loading cars on and off the ferry. The main complaint was about the slowness of service at the cafe. We eventually got our coffees just minutes before disembarkation. We enjoy the ferry experience and buying refreshments, but will be reluctant to do so in future.

Generally very good although very expensive unless you choose to travel at stupid o-clock. Coffee and snacks are ridiculously expensive. Staff generally helpful and polite. Complimentary cup of coffee would be very nice. We would use Wightlink more often if it wasn’t so expensive

On the whole a good service, but older ferries on the Lymington run and quite expensive

Amazing company and the only means for us to keep in touch with my son, but I do sometimes worry why the prices are so variable, I know events on the island make for a lot more travellers but why hype the prices because of it ??? It has cost a fortune over the years but we do it ???

Hi Lynda I'm so pleased you like our company so much. With regards to our fares, these will generally increase in line with demand for that crossing. This means you might find lower fares by being more flexible with routes, dates or times - especially on those sailings that fewer customers have booked. There are also other ways customers can save on their fares. It could be worth checking our Discounts and Offers webpage before booking to see if there are any deals that can be taken advantage of (one of the most popular offers is to Boost the value of Tesco Clubcard vouchers by x 3 their value to use with us). Simply hover over the ‘Ferry information’ menu on the top of our website. It sounds like this won't apply in your particular case but for customers staying overnight or longer, it may also be worth checking with their hotel or accommodation provider to see if they offer reduced ferry deals – some may even include ferry travel as part of their packages. I'm not sure from your message if it is you or your son that lives on the Island. Whichever way around, it could be worth looking out for the booklets of discount codes we send to all addresses on the Isle of Wight from time to time. Finally, customers signed up to receive our newsletters by email are kept informed of various news, events and special offers we may run from time to time (to sign-up please visit our website). This means that booking earlier, or being more flexible with dates, routes and times - may mean you can pay a lower fare. This is especially true on those sailings fewer customers are booking onto. I am sorry you are finding the cost high. I would always recommend booking in advance and avoiding busy times to get our lowest fares. If you book accommodation on the Island make sure to check if they have an inclusive ferry rate as we work with many companies on the Island to keep the cost of visiting down. HAVE TRAVELLED TO THE ISLAND OVER MANY YEARS TO VISIT FAMILY. WE HAVE ON THE WHOLE FOUND FERRY SERVICES FINE. PORT AND FERRY CREW ARE ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL,
