“The boarding was well organised and simple. We were in a hire car so were unable to give our registration number before hand but this did not hold us up at all. Facilities on board were comfortable. Will definitely travel this route again.”

“An efficient service providing everything you need to get to to and from the Wight Isle with the minimum fuss. I would give it 5 stars and visit more often if it wasn’t so expensive to take the car.”

“Easy to book online, lots of choices of times scheduled to get to Isle of Wight and back which is wonderful as gives lots of flexibility to customers It’s good that customers are offered standard or economy so they’ve pay slightly extra or less if they need to apply for a refund It’s good disabled rates”

“Good service and enjoy the crossing as it’s not too long but you’re out pricing me with your prices keep going up and up And it would be nice if you got offered sent you every now and then”

“Friendly efficient service. Ferries run to time and we were early at the port so managed to board the ferry before the one we were booked on. Only down side is the price. I would travel more often if it wasn't so very expensive to take a car across the Solent.”

“Good service and nice friendly/helpful people but prices are still too high, hence 4 stars and not 5. Thankfully we travelled after the school holidays otherwise the cost would have been treble what we paid and the star rating would have been down to 2!”

“Everything fine apart from price. One minute it's around £65, then when you come back to book a minute or two later it's gone up to around £125. Con in my opinion”

“Wightlink booking simple. Slightly chaotic when the ferry.was delayed & very little info provided on the departure, however the return journey was faultless.”

“The new hybrid ferry is bigger and has lots of extra vehicle and passenger seating space. This is really good news for those passengers needing to find a quiet spot away from fighting children and barking dogs. Also quite a few of the seats on the passenger deck can be moved so that large or small groupings can be catered for. I noticed a few other improvements over the older ferries. The toilets are now more modern and have better lighting. There is a play area for the younger children with plenty of toys and gadgets to keep them occupied. Also in the vicinity was a stack of high chairs for parents who need to be 'hands free' while feeding any of the younger hungry tummies. The loading and un-loading of the ferry was quick and uncomplicated. I would have given five stars for my review but once off the ferry, on both legs of my journey, I was confronted by the usual madness of two lanes of traffic trying to merge into one.”

“Loading and passage was very good. Considering length of crossing the cost does seem quite high. Catering should be quicker.”

“Very good all round service. All ran to time ok.. Bit miffed that one of the toilets was out of action and that the lifting car deck is not really wide enough . Cars get scratched with people pushing past and wing mirrors can get damaged.”
