“cataraman was on time on both occasions. making a swift, calm crossing in both directions as weather was sunny and calm. Although there was a courtesy bus to take us from the Pier Head at Ryde to the esplanade, this service was not available for the return trip on the 22.15 departure. A good ticket price for senior citizens.”

“The whole procedure was very easy, just turned up and got in line, then drove onto the ferry. Facilities are available at the dock which is great if you have travelled and get there early. Found a quieter area on the ferry and refreshments were available throughout the journey. Would recommend it although the cost is quite high in my opinion”

“While the ferry across to the Isle of Wight operates more reliably than the buses, as long as the weather is good, the cost per mile makes it a luxury and turns these trips into a rare treat you couldn't afford to repeat very often.”
