“We travelled to the Isle of Wight from Portsmouth this week on a day trip. We found Wightlink to be very efficient and friendly and the experience was very slick. There was no play area on the ships this year which was disappointing but as the journey is relatively short with plenty to see during the crossing, it was not too much of a problem. There was a good variety of food and drink to purchase in the shop.”

“We were delayed on outward journey due to a technical fault with earlier ferry - no problem with this as these things happen but we had no information until nearly an hour’s delay. Once on the later ferry the journey was good and trouble free as was our return. We would go more often if it was affordable.”

“Slick. Caught out by having a couple of bikes on the back of an Audi A4. Extra 15cm meant a 19% surcharge. Gritty.”

“Good ferry and service. Value for a car with a family but as a pensioner in a small car I now have to opt for the midnight crossing as other times too expensive, and I cannot now go as often to visit.”

“Wightlink should tell people when leaving their cars, about safety issues such as muster points but also about locking their cars with the key and not setting their alarms, as the whole journey over, and for other sea users, the noise of car alarms going off, due to the vibration, is noise pollution on a vast scale. Otherwise, they were good.”
