“Ordered 24" dowel rods (1/2" diameter) for a 4th of July project to give to my friends. I was very pleased with the product quality and the price point. Attached is a photo of the flag that I make - I use different colored patriotic ribbons for trim. I made the bottoms of the dowel rods into a point so they would be easier to put into the ground. I wrap ribbon bows around the bottom of six dowel rods and give flag bouquets. I've decided to up my game and will be ordering little round wooden balls with 1/2" holes to paint gold for the top of the dowel rods. I Will update with new photos when finished”

“I truly appreciate the wood quality. Many other pieces are patched or filled with glue pockets. My Woodpeckers crafts sheets stain beautifully and I barely have any wasted material which is a huge plus considering the cost of wood these days!!”

“I needed short ends for some curtain rods. These candle holders worked fine after filling the attachment hole in the bottom. I used 1/4 inch dowel to fill the hole. Thank you for your help, the service was excellent!! See pics. Regards, Mark.”

“I used 106 1" wooden tiles to make my own Rummikub game pieces. I wanted smaller pieces that are easier to play with and to store. I printed the numbers on adhesive-backed paper and stuck them on the tiles. I brushed the pieces with diluted white glue to make sure the corners of the paper did not stick up. I use a checked cloth to keep the tiles aligned during the game. I roll the tile pieces in the cloth to pour them back into a drawstring bag for storage between games. A similar method can be used for other games such as Qwirkle. Woodpeckers tiles were easy to use and uniform in size .”

“I love the wood products that I buy from Woodpeckers! Great quality and quick service! Here is a flower I made from a 3" wooden knob. I drilled starter holes and put in a whole box of 3" screws - then spray painted the whole thing yellow. I then inserted a tomato stick into the hole in the wooden ball.”
