“I purchased the hardwood spindles for use on a shelf I made for my granddaughter. I stained them English Chestnut and the result was outstanding! The spindles took the stain very well and the grain was very prominent, beautiful.”

“Fast shipping and was half the price of anywhere else I checked out for 5x7 birch plywood cutouts to laser engrave my wedding invitations on was ordering more blanks when I got the email for this review so yeah I’ll order more,also all the flying puns in the several emails to update me on my orders shipping status was just great loved it attached is a picture of the backs of the invites this birch burns rather well”

“We were very pleased with Woodpeckers Crafts' products and service. We used the 1" x12" dowels as connectors for an RC race track made out of pool noodles. I contacted Woodpeckers Crafts Customer Service for advice on this. They were very helpful with this off-beat request and my shipping questions. Additionally, communication on the status of my order was excellent!”

“I have been using Woodpeckers round birch balls in several sizes to construct assemblages for three dimensional acrylic paintings over the past year, and they are beautiful objects in their original form, even more spectacular assembled into new shapes and given new colors: found many ways to use carpentry and gravity to create forms and plan on showing them as part of a benefit exhibition for the Cape Cod Climate Change Collaborative in May of 2022.”

“I have liked dealing with Woodpeckers on the phone when I do large orders. The staff knows stock and prices. We are making small-wheeled toys for needy children in the city next store. The 1/4 inch dowels we get for axles are consistent with the 1/4 inch holes in the wheels which are drilled and true to size. Unfortunately, the 1 1/2" wheels had a huge jump in prices (like 5X) over what I paid 3 months ago so I will need to shop around for those.”

“It was a bag of 1/8 inch dowels for a project for somebody else. I got the dowels and I have to cut them to 14 inch length and hand them off to the other person. No pictures to share unless you want to see the bag of dowels.”

“Excellent product!! I make artisan wood toys and have found it's much more cost effective to purchase the wheels. The other products I have purchased are much too wide but these from Woodpecker were just perfect!!”
