“One bead had no hole at at. Charged $.98 for Routeins, no explanation what that was. Shipping seemed high for items that need no padding and weigh very little.”

Hi Ellen, First of all, thanks for shopping Woodpeckers! About that charge, we offer shipping insurance powered by Route Package Protection. Our customers have a choice to turn it off during checkout. (shipping insurance is fantastic during this shipaggedon but we of course don’t want to push it on anyone). “Needed to do some handles to keep together oak leaves bundles for the steam bath. This is popular in Eastern Europe, Finland, the Baltic states. It is getting popular in the USA too. Looking for a good deal on 7/8” x 48” wood dowels I found Woodpeckers Craft. Very good deal! Almost half the price of what I used to pay. The quality of the wood dowels is excellent, fast delivery, excellent customer service! They make you feel like they want your business! I used to run around NYC looking for dowels. With Woodpeckers, one orders with the IPhone, and presto, very good quality dowels are delivered, and I never experienced the level of attention and feedback to the customer that Woodpeckers offers. Excellent job!”
