“I was impressed with the online chat function as I was able to have my question answered immediately. I was also impressed that each item came within its own protective bag, as during transit the box had aquired a hole; the bags prevented soiling and damage to the products. All of my items had been ‘upgraded’ to high thread-count organic cotton, and the quality seems very good. Only one complaint so far: for the pillow casings, where the fabric has been cut to the required size and the seams sewn, the quilting stitches were coming undone in several places, and I spent a long time tying the loose threads into knots so they did not come undone any further.”

“Ali was excellent at customer service, as we had several issues around order, due to the fact your website was not efficient at explaining about UK and EU sizes for duvets. I did spend some time online chatting to customer service guy. However, he did not give me the correct information and I therefore ordered a Double Duvet instead of my normal King Size, as sizes between UK & EU were different, and I felt he was not sure himself about sizing. Ali did her best to correct this situation. However, felt it most unfair I did not get refund for returning wrong size Duvet, even though I am a past customer and re ordered the correct size”

“Good communication . Still getting used to duvet. We were surprised at how warm a light duvet still was. It's also a lot heavier than we imagined. We feel a little warmer under it than we are used to but not sweaty so that's good!”

“Shipping to the U.S. was very fast - I received my order 7 days after ordering, which I was very pleased with. The duvets were nicely packaged and well made. I ordered a light and a medium duvet and they are very warm, a bit too warm for the spring here. It would be great if Woolroom had a warmth guide that indicated room temperatures but otherwise I would advise anyone buying from outside the UK to keep in mind that temperatures in the UK may not be the same as where you are.”

“When I received product I was a bit worried because seemed thin and light but It does the work , I'm happy with my purchase, don't feel cold anymore :) well see how it work in higher temperature when summer arrive eventually.”

“The duvet is great. Very light and warm. Looks neat too. BUT ... I would have liked a reply to the email I sent to customer services immediately after the parcel arrived. The plastic bag was open and the cotton storage bag was filthy- I sent pictures. I would appreciate another bag please.”

“The duvet is really good quality. It keeps us the perfect temperature all night and is very comfortable. It is quite thin and light which is great for some people - I was hoping it would be a bit thicker/squishier because that’s my preferred type. But really that’s a tiny niggle and personal preference. It feels like it will last really well and I’ve been recommending it to lots of people since I bought it.”
