“Really pleased with my mattress topper. Have just purchased a new mattress and this made a very comfortable addition to the mattress. Helps with sleeping seems to be really cool on warm nights .Glad I paid out the money . Thinking now about saving for a duvet.”

“My wool mattress topper is excellent for keeping me cool. As a lady "of a certain age" I was suffering with hot flushes and horrendous night sweats. Unfortunately my relatively new Tempur mattress was making things far more difficult than they needed to be. The wool topper has made things so much more comfortable without having to ditch the expensive mattress. The only downside is that the straps used to keep the topper in place are stitched much too close to the corner so they slip off. I have had to stitch new straps on to keep the topper where it needs to be.”

“I purchased the Deluxe Bedding Set range: Pillows, All Season Duvet and Mattress Protector, and I couldn't be more pleased with all the bedding. I wanted to switch from feather filled to another type of filling, but wanted to still have natural materials. The wool fillings are a superb alternative. I find the duvet really warm, but really light and I am finding I do not over heat as I used to. Its particularly useful to be able to adjust the pillow fullness, I took out some wool as I didn't need them to be as full. I still wanted to be able to plump up the pillows, which you can only really do with natural fillings. The quality of all the products is excellent, and the service was very efficient and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Wool Room and have already done so.”

“I find the super light duvet far too hot, I wake during the night dripping. My pillow and duvet cover wet with sweat. I am extremely disappointed with it and will go back to my very cheap, synthetic duvet.”

We are sorry to hear of the issues that you have had Mrs Gough, we are naturally very proud of our bedding and scientific studies have show that wool gives superior temperature control, but on this occasion we are sorry that you havent experienced the benefits that wool bedding can give. “I loved the mattress topper so I decided to buy the lighter weight duvet as well. As promised, I find it very pleasant to use. Not only do I get less sweaty but I find the duvet very light but warm enough for summer nights in the country. The duvet looks very nice with a good cover. I have just bought another for my bed in London.”

“I hesitated for ages about getting a wool duvet because I thought they seemed a bit expensive - finally, after another boiling hot night of no sleep, feeling on the edge and fed up, I went the whole hog and bought the all seasons bedding set, why oh why did I wait! It's the best thing ever, just unpacking the box made me feel cosy - the linen storage bags, the lovely quality throughout - i couldn't wait to change my bedding and go to sleep. And yes, both my husband and I are sleeping really well, in fact (and in spite of the recent hot weather) I am so sound asleep when the alarm goes off I'm struggling to wake up. The duvet is much thinner than our old one, but manages to feel substantial without smothering or boiling me, especially surprised and pleased by the wool pillows, so comfy and full, and at last a mattress protector that fits properly. I just wish I hadn't waited so long to get my wool bedding, one day hoping to work up to a wool bed...”
