“I bought 2 deluxe wool pillows from here as I have night sweats, like a lot of women. I already have the wool duvet, which is wonderful so I had no reason to suppose the pillows would be anything different. Unfortunately the pillows are a completely different story. When they came I was quite dismayed, they were rock hard. I cannot sleep on a rock hard pillow due to problems with my neck. I removed some of the filling, as instructed, and they were thinner, but with rock hard lumps. I arranged for them to go back, which cost over £15.00. I got emails from the company asking why I was sending them back, which I had already written on the returns sheet. When they finally agreed to refund my money, there was a patronising email telling me I could have removed some of the stuffing which, obviously, I had already tried. I am sure that these pillows might suit some people, who like really hard pillows but if you like soft pillows these are not for you. The pillows also had a rather strong, unpleasant smell. I think the Wool Room need to look at this product which, if you are advertising and charging as a "deluxe" product, needs to be a "deluxe" product.”

“We ordered the deluxe all seasons duvet set and was impressed as soon as it came out of the box. The set contains a thinner summer duvet and and slightly thicker autumn duvet which can be both safely and securely fastened together via poppers around the edges to create a winter duvet. Both duvets were considered thin (not airy or puffy like others) but had a good weight to them, and when under the covers they seem to hug both of us and fall more naturally (instead of creating a tent like effect between 2 people where the duvet is kept up in the middle forming a channel for cold air). We have the autumn duvet on at the moment and have to say it is proving to be a real treat. My partner and I prefer different temperatures in bed and this has really helped to balance different zones in the bed to both our liking's. Can't wait to try the combination of the 2 as we both like a weighty duvet and fell this will hug both of us even more. Thank you Thewoolroom, we would have never considered moving to a wool duvet had we not seen the website and read the testimonies and what wool could do. It worked.”

“I didn't get a confirmation email for my purchase, but the website showed that the order had gone through. The courier tracking service is very good, and means you don't have to waste a day waiting for the delivery. I bought a wool topper, which is thick, and very good quality. Would recommend this company.”

“The service I received was very good and the delivery was very quick as well. The only reason why it is not full marks is that my name was not written on the parcel. I had it luckily delivered to my work address and they signed for it but we had to go through a great deal of searching for the parcel as only the courier number was written on it but no name. Would I had delivered to my home address it would have easly been lost. I would order again but can I be sure the next time my name will be written on it.”

“The blanket looks lovely and is nice and leight, the only slight disappointment is, that from the description I had expected it to be softer. Delivery was great with confirming the delivery date and asking for instruction like handing it in at neighbours or leaving the paket at a safe place.”

“I made my purchase on the internet. Everything about my order was treated quickly and efficiently. It was despatched promptly and an anticipated time and date was provided; it was particularly helpful to be able to track the driver's progress. I am over 87 years old and suffer from breathing problems , due to years of smoking. I have searched for a comfortable pillow for ages, and my daughter suggested I try one of yours and I am absolutely delighted with it. I have had the best night's sleep I have had for years, and my doctor says that because wool does not attract dust mites, this can only be good for me. I wish I'd bought one months ago. Thank you.”

“I previously purchased a pillow from The Wool Room and really love it. When recently they had a sale on, I purchased a blanket, the grey, curly sheep one. It is lovely. My husband was impressed with it and decided he wanted one too but in a different pattern so I purchased another blanket. I can definately say they are very warm and snuggly and we are really pleased with all the items. We are now saving up for a wool duvet. I suffer with allgeries and it is very pleasing that I can have the wool products in the house knowing I haven't had any reactions with them. The staff are very helpful too. A lovely company to buy from.”

“We have found all your products are excellent. They certainly do help create the right temperature for sleeping and even during the very hot weather we did not have to take the summer duvet off but it is also extremely efficient using the all seasons duvet during cold weather. Also your company has been very efficient dealing with all our orders.”

“I was looking for a matress protector filled and covered with natural materials. The wool matress protector fitted the bill perfectly. An important benefit for me was the temperature regulating properties of wool; the protector really does exactly that and makes for a much more comfortable night's sleep.”

“I read about this company in the Guardian and found the service to be excellent. My deluxe pillow arrived exactly on time, as promised. It is still early days but I am finding tat compared to my old Tempur pillow that I am not becoming so hot in the night and as a result having my sleep disturbed as much. The pillow does need plumping up every night but that is a small price to pay for better quality sleep. Now I am tempted to buy a topper!”

“Very pleased with my autumn weight, deluxe single wool duvet. It is thin and light but incredibly warm and warms up very quickly with body heat. It is important to me to be supporting the British woollen industry and British sheep farmers. Disappointed that your wool rugs and blankets are from NZ, otherwise would have bought those too. More British wool products please.”
