“My husband is on hormone and radio-therapy treatment for prostate cancer, and has had horrendous night sweats (pretty common) and has been much easier on a wool mattress cover, it really helps. Also I have severe, chronic spine problems requiring spinal surgery, and I have found the wool mattress cover does help give me a nights sleep.”

“We have a very light duvet(150gsm) .Wefind it a bit warm some nights but we are not covered in sweat as we used to be under a 1 tog non wool duvet.”

“Only just started useing my deluxe 1-2 tog which I purchased to use in my caravan, weather not hot yet so cannot comment how they will be when we get hot summer nights. Overall I am very pleased with the qaulity ànd they are very light. Looking to purchase one for my son later in the year ready for the winter months”

“So disappointed with the mattress cover. Heating up in bed has disturbed my sleep for years and was hoping this would live up to the claims on the website and I would remain temperate. I looked forward to going to bed but within an hour of nodding off I awoke very hot indeed wherever my body touched the mattress. Cooling down did not happen as expected, I stayed uncomfortably warm all night. It wasn't a warm night, my room faces north and the window is always open. I don't have a memory foam mattress , vile things, and sleep under a cotton sheet and wool blanket. I persevered for three more nights as I wanted so much to make it work but I had to take the cover off. I was definitely cooler without it on the bed. Trying to be impartial, I put it back on again and told myself to get a grip, it was my imagination and I would be a lot cooler if I only believed that wool was the answer. Unfortunately after four nights I couldn't take the overwhelming warmth from the mattress cover any longer, and so it is packed away. Weirdly, the pillow is !ovely and soft and though it does make my head very hot occasionally it doesn't seem to give me the awful dry burning heat sensation which the cover does. I am mystified. Can't fault ordering or delivery service though.”

We are so disappointed to hear this as you should feel some benefits of sleeping with wool. Could you confirm that you are using cotton flat/fitted sheet ontop of the mattress protector as any other material could prevent the wool from breathing properly and cause over heating? “I bought the full bed set as I decided to change how I spend my nights, ie sleeping as opposed to lying hot, bothered and wakeful. I ordered the light duvet and tried it for a week and decided along with my husband that the super light duvet was probably more what we wanted. The exchange was done in 24 hours and I could not have had better service from your very helpful team at the Wool Room. I'm sleeping better and I highly recommend the products.”

“The best bedding we have had. The duvets are excellent at keeping you warm in winter and with the all seasons they are also excellent in the summer. The pillows are also very good as you can up or remove wool according to your comfort and fluff up the wool inside whenever you wish.”

“I can sleep comfortably again! I was originally looking only for a new pillow as I have a degenerative neck condition and have tried all sorts of pillows over the past couple of years that turn out not to be suitable. The wool pillow I now have is amazing - supportive but comfy. In the end I took the plunge and bought the pillow as part of a bedding set including a matress protector and all season duvets. I haven't been disappointed. The matress protector is unbelievably comfortable (I can put off buying a new mattress for a while) and does help me sleep better, and it also seems to cope with the night sweats :-) The duvets are light in weight and have a much nicer feel than the man-made fibres I've been using. I thoroughly recommend The Wool Room. Plus, they turned up in two days within the 1 hour delivery slot time.”

“After going on holiday recently and waking all night with night sweats under a normal lightweight quilt l couldn't wait to return home to my sheeps wool quilt, and realising it does actually really help with my menopause symptoms l thought l would treat myself to the 1-3 tog for the summer.At first l received the wrong item but this was very quickly and efficiently dealt with, l now have my lightweight quilt and am very happy with it.”

“Sadly I was disappointed with my purchase. I bought the classic medium for my young son. I rang the wool room before placing my order to ensure I made the right decision. Unfortunately The duvet I chose was not the right one for a young child. I'm disappointed with my purchase not just because it's been rendered unusable for us, but also because the wool room will not give a refund or exchange as its been opened. Also in my opinion if you sell duvets I believe you should know some important information such as young children should sleep with duvets under 9 tog sadly I found this out elsewhere after making this purchase.”

“We received our products and have never looked back. From ordering the all season quilt package we were kept up to date of the delivered and a time scale of 2 hrs !! Which was amazing and rare for many company's. Many thanks and I would recommend you to any one interested in changing their quilt and bedding. “I find the duvet and mattress protector very comfortable, and it's the first time I've had a duvet fit our covers properly. The duvet doesn't bunch up at one end any more - much better than our old duvet. Sadly however, I don't find I'm sleeping any better than before the change to wool...”
