“Excellent service with prompt delivery as promised. Our wool quilt is a very good product and, in our experience so far, lives up to everything that the Wool Room claimed for it. The weather has been very mild since we bought our quilt but it maintains an optimum temperature all night with no perspiring. If it smelt unduly of wool when new (as some comments have said) then we did not notice it!”

“I love my new woolly bedding! After years of allerrgy always causing me to wake with a blocked nose and sinus headache, I have at last found relief. The duvet seemed a little thin and cool after my down duvet that puffs up in use, but I;m finding it warm and cosy overnight. It took a few days for the duvet to 'soften' and it now drapes nicely. The pillow is comfortable and supportive, though I shall be topping it up as it flattens during the night.”

Thank you very much for leaving us this review, Kate. We're so glad to hear that you're sleeping more soundly as a result of our wool bedding. Wool as a fibre is far more efficient at keeping you cosy than alternatives (synthetic, feather, down), meaning you don't need as much loft to keep you as warm. It does seem like it wouldn't keep you toasty at first though, doesn't it :) As for the pillow, we would say that it's worth getting stuck into the fibres and really pulling them apart for a good 5 minutes when first purchased. This will ensure that the pillow becomes more sumptuous and won't compress as easily. I would then just open the pillow with the secret zip and fluff it up every time you change your bedding. “Over the last year I have tried several types of pillow, including memory foam and latex, to try to find something that gives me a comfortable night's sleep and avoids me waking up with neck and shoulder pain. (I have tendonitis in one shoulder and ongoing neck/upper back pain issues! I also have bank balance issues after all of the money I have spent on pillows!!) After endless internet searches I came across a review for wool pillows and ended up looking at the Woolroom. I bought two deluxe wool pillows which were on offer for £70. What drew me to these was the really positive reviews so far and the ability to take some of the filling out or add more in if necessary. The pillows were delivered very quickly with clear instructions on how to puff the filling up. After my first night, I felt the pillows were a little too full for me (still woke up with neck pain, but not quite so bad) so I removed a small amount of the filling and from then onwards, my pillow has been perfect! I've now slept on my pillow for three weeks and am sleeping comfortably and the difference to my back and shoulder pain is remarkable. I highly recommend trying a wool pillow, they are extremely comfortable and if you are prepared to take the time to get the amount of filling right for you, you may avoid having to take out a second mortgage to finance your search for a comfortable night's sleep.”

“I ordered a standard wool pillow which I am delighted with - it is really comfortable and I now sleep well. I also ordered a pretty pastel check baby blanket but it was smaller than anticipated being crib/pram size rather than cot size so I returned it. There was no sizing on the description which would have been useful. It was beautifully soft and well made though. Had I been able to personalise it with a name , I would have kept it. Service was excellent: order was delivered within a few days and the refund for the cot blanket was very prompt.”

“The delivery service was absolutely out of this world - ordered the items in the afternoon and they were delivered before noon the next day! I have been using the products (duvets) now for few weeks and I am more than satisfied - the quality is fantastic and they definitely deliver what they promise. “I bought the deluxe bedding set all season and whilst I initially thought it was quite expensive even in the sale, it is worth every pound. I sleep through the night, very few night sweats, very cosy and warm without overheating. I would certainly recommend buying the quilt at least.”

“Very rarely do l write a review! The item has to be very good or very bad. As a woman of a certain age l have suffered from night flushes for years. I had never heard of the wool room but you were at a show l was visiting and the theory behind the wool sounded interesting . After a further week of disturbed sleep l relented and oreded a quilt and mattress topper and l can honestly say l am amazed with the outcome . It's the best money l have spent in along time. I will defiantly be buying more thank you.”

“What a fantastic service and great product. I placed my order on line for a lightweight deluxe duvet at 1.20pm on Wednesday and it arrived before 9am the next day. This morning we both commented that we had not woken during the night as we usually do, either to kick the duvet off or retrieve it. Looking forward to many more rest full nights ahead.”

“Really impressed with the level of customer service and speed of delivery! I ordered the cot duvet for my daughter and was so impressed with the quality and finish of the product that I ordered us the warm duvet bedding set and her the baby pillow to go with her duvet.
