Ordered book on the 11th December as a Christmas present, heard nothing (except an automated acknowledgement) for over a week, then told delivery would be between the 24th December and 31st December book actually arrived on the 4th of January. Very disappointed by the long delay, inaccurate information and complete lack of communication about the very long delivery time.

Wordery refused to contact a publisher in order to gain permission for them to send to me a photograph of a double page of a book which I was thinking of buying. I wanted this photo as I had read a few reviews in which the print size and the closeness of the print to the binding were criticised. What happened to customer service?

I wrote a review of Wordery because I ordered a book - now more than a month ago - that never arrived. They have also not refunded me. Today I got an email saying: 'Thank you for your review, would you mind revising it or changing your rating. As we haven't heard from you since last email on 30th December we believe your book arrived. Click the link below to edit your original review.' LOL. They still have my money. They have not delivered the book. In short, they're getting another bad review, this one for the absolute cheek of asking me to revise it.

A new delivery partner is required. I ordered a book and it too 24 days to deliver. I can order goods from the other side of the world quicker than that. Never again.

My son mistakenly ordered a set of books. Right after he hit the confirm button I cancelled the order in less then 10 MINUTES. Filled out the form and sent an email with confimation as well. They said they could not cancel the order! This is beyond ridiculous. It was less then 10 minutes. I have both emails to prove it from this company. NOT good customer service!

Our partner warehouses operate as fast as they can to process orders, often working into the night and early in the morning. This speed benefits the vast majority of our customers and it is unfortunate that it meant we were unable to prevent the dispatch of your order. When we responded to your query, your order was amongst hundreds of others ready for dispatch. To have prevented the dispatch of your order at this stage would have meant a member of the warehouse team sifting through the parcels in the pallets. This was an unfeasible option for many reasons including the most compelling reason, that it would have delayed the dispatch of hundreds of other customer orders.

Anne Mortimer Cats calendar...Wordery is advertising this small diary with the image of the much larger calendar. This is a clear break of trading standards. The diary is a completely different ratio to that shown on their website and has a very differently cropped image/flower background. Sloppy.

Wordery can't even locate my package and uses useless excuses, why my package wasn't delivered. Rather spend my money on a lot more usefull things.

A long time ago I purchased this book. You did not deliver it to me. I patiently wait for the book to arrive. Now after more than 3 weeks since I have requested my redound, I have not received any information from you. This is very unprofessional. Once again. I ask you to refund my money. I am a student, my budget is very limited and since March I have been waiting for you. This is not right. I want my money back.

I have not used Wordery at all yet. I wish there was more of a resume of the story in the books. ie What is the rough outline of the story?

Placed my order on the 6th of August, according to the tracking it did not ship out until the 18th. When I first placed the order it stated that the item would arrive between the 13th and the 18th. Your shipping is horrible, never using your site again.

Absolutely awful service. I ordered my book May 1/20 as that was the day my spring course Professor released our book that was needed to complete the course (ending on June 16th) and I never received my book. My course ended 3 days ago and I have yet to receive my book. I sent in a complaint in a panic half way through because I had to do my exams without the book, and no one ever responded to me. I’m appalled with the lack of customer service and zero communication (also, no tracking?). I highly recommend using amazon instead. Cheaper books on here really does mean cheaper service (if any), but I guess you get what you pay for (and sometimes you don’t even get that).

Despite attempting to cancel my order just 30 seconds after I realised I'd ordered the wrong thing I was unable to. Won't be ordering the correct item from you. Yes I could return the item but the whole process seems unnecessary. Very disappointed.

Item has still not arrived more than 5 weeks after the promised date. Contacted customer service, who said that they had lost my parcel and would need to get back to me on reordering the book for me as it is out of stock, that was over 2 weeks ago. Meanwhile the book is available on Amazon and other places.
