“One book The Golden Apples by Welty , was said to be in good condition but is in appalling condition. It is covered with notes written in margins and full of underlinings . It also looks as though it has suffered some damage by water. I shall never use you again especially as it was such an expensive book Joy O’Flanagan”

“Not good service. Complaint not handled well - all blamed on Covid. Book eventually turned up after long delay. Plenty of other booksellers on line give better service. Box about efficiency of reply below does not give the option for 48 hours.”

“Horrible service. I'm very disappointed. You all need a better delivery process. Don't email me about COVID19, my second to last order had a rediculous delivery wait time too. Both deliveries were way past the eta.”

“Ordered late at night and immediately realised I’d ordered the wrong thing. My fault I know but the Website said if not shipped message which I immediately did. Messaged back to say too late to cancel. Disappointed”

“Ordered book on 4th. Received notification of 2-4 days delivery. Waited until 16th, no book. Told to wait longer!!!! Now having to consider refund via paypal resolution centre. Expected better. Won't buy from here again.”

“I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed with the recent service I have received from Wordery as a result I shall not be making any further purchases with them, full stop. I received little to no updates on my most recent order, no notifications from the courier either, subsequently my order was returned, I had to chase for resolve even after my parcel went back to depot. It would appear you are quick to accept my payment but would have been quite happy if Id forgotten about my £65 order. Not to mention your customer services follow up was patronising and inadequate. I fully appreciate that we are in the middle of a pandemic here, therefore I will fully understand if this has affected what would have been a normal process but by and large I've been left feeling really frustrated at this whole process. I gladly leave the stock to whoever else wants it and purchase from a much more trusted and realiable service, thank you for absolutely nothing”

“I ordered a gift to ship to my friends house and it took 2 1/2 months to get shipped. Then when it was shipped it took another 3 weeks to get to his house. I will not order from wordery ever again!!!!!!!!!”

“I have ordered 2 books and paid an additional fee for express delivery within 1-2 working days. Unfortunately, books were delivered only after 6 working days. By that time I have left the UK. However, the support team insists that my wife has signed and accepted the delivery. Despite the fact that no one could do it since no one lives on the delivery address anymore. These actions are discrediting Wordery. Disappointed. Currently, I am trying to refund my money.”

“Unfortunately, an item from my order was missing. I have e-mailed the company twice and tried to telephone several times over the last 2 weeks but haven't recieved any response. It's disappointing as I've used the Wordery before and been happy. This time the books were bought with a giftcard my kids received for christmas so they were disappointed not to recieve one of their books.”

“After 30 minutes from the order, I've requested to cancel it. There's no way to cancel an order. The policy says that you can cancel an order before it is shipped, IT'S FAKE!”

“I did not get my order? Yet I got a message that they want a short review of the delivery. When I send an email about the delivery, they promised to respond in 24 hours? Don’t use this use amazon. At least they give you a delivery.”
