“Not impressed. Order placed on the 10th Dec but not dispatched until the 18th (the day after I requested an update) it then took another 4 days to arrive.”

“I like the idea of ordering from Wordery and your prices are good, but your delivery times are shocking! I ordered a book for my sister-in-law's birthday 5 days before her birthday and she got the book a week after her birthday!”

“I ordered 3 copies of a calendar book. whilst nthe pandemic continued to hit and Christmas, I was told twice that the books had been posted out - when in fact they hadn't-. On ordering, I had allowed for them to get to their destination well before Christmas That didn't happen. I got them after Christmas well, so that meant the intended got them well after Jan 1st 3022. I had requested that they could have been labelled and posted to the different addresses on the orders. But I was told that could happen. They all arrived in separate packages to me so this wasn't about saving packaging and postage. Super-disappointed, the flexibility would have made all the difference..”

“I ordered a Christmas present on 6th December which I was told would take up to 8 working days. I had no communication about it until after that date when I checked and discovered it had not been dispatched. Making it too late to order it elsewhere. It arrived after Christmas. Some communication would have made it less frustrating. I don’t feel able to order from you again.”

“A Christmas present for my son: It arrived 29th December, a day after he returned to Leeds. Not a problem as I can now give it to him in March. It was clear that it wasn't dispatched until it was too late, despite giving you reasonable notice. I was hoping to switch to you from Amazon for obvious ethical reasons but your service is too slow. Sorry, was hoping for better.”

“Wordery took seven days to dispatch my book. When you try to contact them their is no phone number just a form to fill in which you receive after a day a generic response that does not answer the question you asked.”

“Two books ordered for Christmas gifts on the 16th December (inside the recommended date to achieve delivery). One was dispatched the same day, the second not until the 21st December. Needless to say the second arrived well after the special day which was frustrating and disappointing. There was no alert on ordering to warn us about stock issues and if there had been we wouldn't have proceeded.”

“This is the second book I have received from you; like the first book it arrived on time and neatly packaged. However I found the book damaged on one of the bottom corners and the plastic protective covering on the back is peeling off. As the book is new I am disappointed.”
