Delay in delivery and I had to stay at home for 2 days waiting. Please find a way to reach your customers without wasting their time (eg: leave the book at the door). Also, no discounts for returning consumers, and students. Such a shame.

The Swords of Silence is a brutal yet gripping read that highlights the evil that men do and the power of faith. If I had to only use one word to describe this then it would have to be BRUTAL. It’s a Japanese historical fiction based upon the persecution of Japanese Christians, and follows a priest trying to protect his village from the Shogun. After reading the first-look of this I thought that I would really enjoy it and was delighted to be sent a copy for review, but it turned out to be a too brutal I did not enjoy it at all. . There are a lot of characters, it can be hard to follow and keep track of who is who. I t was a bit over the place for me. . What I didn’t like was the backwards and forwards nature of being captured, escaping, getting recaptured and so on and so forth. Overall it was well written. I hadn’t read any Japanese historical fiction before, so it was a nice change, but I don’t think I’ll be reading any more of this trilogy This book was well written just for me. .

When I placed my order, I took special note of the delivery period, because I needed the order on time for my holiday. However, the delivery was delayed and arrived more than a week later than the promised end date. I was informed about this with friendly emails, but that didn't solve the problem of course.

Paid for a book money came out straight away.Book wasn't even dispatched for over a week,then didn't arrive for another week.Poor.

I placed an order with Wordery, realised when I received the confirmation email that they did not have the quantity I required. 4minutes later I logged on to their Customer help, siting 'I want to cancel my order'. No reply, the books were received, I need to return, 4 messages later and still NOBODY has replied to me! No telephone number on the website to be able to call them either! Very disappointing for our first (and last) Wordery experience - Will be returning the books (with copies of all of my messages/requests), requesting a refund. Hoping that this review will be acknowledged!?

Delivery was painfully slow - 2 books ordered, 2 separate deliveries, the later one almost 2 weeks after I placed the order and paid for everything!

Postage is far too slow, I have an internet business and can get my work to Australia quicker than you can to Newcastle! Still not arrived .

I ordered a book at july 17th and 13 days ago you inform a delay due to unforeseen circumstances and It'd be dispatched within next few days. So, at aug 16th I asked what was happening and I was informed that You had a problem with the supplier and then my order was dispatched a few days ago. Something in your process is not working very well, because some problem with your supplier led the order opened and no action was taken.

Speedy delivery with free postage.....and unlike a well known online store I didn’t have to spend £20 in order to qualify for free postage ...brilliant company

The delivery time was completely incorrect and not as advertised which meant l had to re-post once it arrived. I received an email to say that the book would be dispatched on the Tuesday and it still hadn't arrived by the following Monday??? So l complained and this is the response l got - and you can see that the dispatch date has already changed to the Wednesday and they don't include Saturdays. The email very clearly says Tuesday - why say Wednesday then ? It was delivered via the Post office as well - they deliver on Saturdays. Overall - not happy with the service, not happy with the reponse from customer services either. Hello there, Thank you for getting in touch. Our delivery estimate for this order was 2 - 4 working days after dispatch. Since your order was dispatched on Wednesday, September 4th, we would have therefore expected it to arrive between Friday, September 6th and Tuesday, September 10th. My last purchase was below standard as the front cover and inside cover had unremovable large stickers. I contacted Wordery twice with no reply. Very poor customer service.
