“Delivery took forever, much longer than the estimate”

“Unfortunately the book was addressed incorrectly and sent to No28 and not No23 which made delivery much later than I had hoped for. The book was packaged well and in good condition when it arrived.”

“Book was in stock but took 10 days to reach me... if you want a quick delivery you obviously have to pay more. Other outlets offer free delivery too but are much quicker.”

“Very late delivery compared to estimate when purchasing. Completely missed the birthday the book was a gift for. I left over 2 weeks for delivery. Cover of book was wrinkled.”

“You really do have to realise that waitings for days on end to take delivery of books is not acceptable in the world we now live in. I am astonished that you have not dramatically shortened the time to complete orders. I really do not like to complain but cannot understand why you have not dealt with this problem. David Best.”

“I made my order a week ago and it actually arrived on time so I didn't run into any delay problems but from all the reviews I've read so far, don't expect your order to arrive on time. When I received my book, the box in which it was packaged in is damaged and so is the book. The 2 corners on the right have folds and the box is punctured. It's pretty evident that they don't handle your packages with care and use really cheap paper to protect the book inside. If you really don't care about the conditions of your book, you can actually find some pretty good deals here. If you do, DONT BUY FROM HERE!!!!”

“One book was dispatched almost immediately- the other book days later despite being ordered on the same day. Then, neither book arrived within their respective estimated delivery dates. The first book was well overdue. After contacting customer support, it was declared the books must be “lost” and therefore I should choose a refund or re-order. As it happened, that very same day BOTH books arrived. Packaging was ok but I didn’t like the fact the books were not protected by any wrapping within the parcels. Overall packaging and “presentation”, such as documentation - was below what I have had from both Amazon and Book Depositary. This was my first time using wordery. The experience was well below the standard of Book Depositary which is where we usually get our books. Overall disappointing experience, especially with the delivery times. Unlikely to use Wordery again.”

“Free worldwide delivery is a joke. Ordered a book for delivery to Australia (from UK) for Wordery to then just cancel it on grounds that they were "unable to ship this item to your delivery country". Strangely enough, I had previously ordered the same item, but this was cancelled as I had not provided a contact telephone number for the delivery company to use when attempting delivery. My partner, however, separately managed to order a couple of other books for delivery to the same address in Australia without any problems.”
