“Ve......ry S l o w to act once they had my money. Even slower once it was mainled to me, and useless when after it was due to have arrived, it was not received. As a regular purchaser of books across multiple booksellers, Wordery is the first to get on my blacklist.”

“I bought two expensive hardback books, but the way they were packaged, side by side rather than on top of each other, with the boards of one facing outwards, meant that by the time they arrived in my letterbox in New Zealand, the corner of one of them had good crunched/bumped during delivery. This was disappointing. It didn't seem bad enough to bother with chasing up for a replacement, but disappointing that an expensive book didn't arrive in mint condition.”

“I placed an order on the 15th of September and was given a delivery estimate of 4-8 days. The website stated that the item was in-stock and ready to ship. I then received an email on the 24th of September stating that the order was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances but would arrive within 2-3 days. Unfortunately I had to email customer services another week later to see where the item was and it had turned out that it wasn’t in stock, and they hadn’t ordered a replacement with their supplier. The item eventually dispatched on the 1st of October and arrived on the 5th. I will say that the customer service staff, once contacted, were lovely. Very polite and quick to respond.”

“I was disappointed that you stated my paypal account was declined , then allowed despite the above 4 attempts to go through for the same title obviously if I wanted 4 copies I'd ordered 4 copies once. Then you expect me to pay the return postage . NO NOT HAPPY WITH WORDERY. Mike Willis”

“The package was covered in paint and had it soaked through to the the books I had ordered I would have certainly complained and asked for a refund I cant believe that it was sent out in that condition”

“Even though an item is stated as in stock they have to order in from another supplier. It would be helpful to notify the customer of this as this increases delivery times considerably.”
