“2 days after the last day of my expected delivery still haven't received anything, when I request an email log in to try to log in to check status nothing comes through. Had positive experiences in the past but this time round is pretty worrying.”

“Delivery was great but the product was damaged. Cover folded over. Second time I have received damaged product with no recourse to replacement. Would much prefer to use wordery over amazon but quality is important.”

“I placed an order online and as payment was going through the website timed out and my basket was showing as empty so I assumed the order hadn't gone through. An email was received hour later confirming the order had gone through. I immediately emailed the company to cancel the order, received an email the following morning advising that the book had already been despatched. After explaining the issue I was told that they couldn't stop the order and also advised that they don't offer postage back to them. Stuck with a book I don't want because their website couldn't cope.”

“On the whole I find Wordery very good - good prices and free delivery but one book I bought recently arrived in a "bashed" state - obviously done during transit, with the front pages torn - and I have to give this as a present. Shame. Otherwise good.”

“Not impressed. Bought from Wordery as I try to avoid using Amazon wherever possible. Unfortunately the delivery took almost a week to arrive and the website made it very difficult to know the size of the notebook I was buying and I ended up with a smaller size than I expected. On the bright side the item arrived very well packaged although too large for a standard letter box. Not awful but should be better to meet the expected standards offered by competitors.”

“I ORDERED A CALENDAR FROM YOU ON THE 12TH OCTOBER, YOU E-MAILED BACK TO SAY I WOULD HAVE IT AROUND THE 3RD WEEK OF OCTOBER, I E-MAILED YOU LATE OCTOBER TO SAY I HAVENT RECEIVED IT, IT CAME THE 2ND WEEK OF NOVEMBER. (SORRY NOT HAPPY)”

“One of the items arrived with a damaged corner. Quite severely, I should of returned it but I can't be doing with the hassle of sending it back, waiting, then re-ordering. Definite reservations for ordering from here again.”

“The delivery driver wouldn't leave the package in a safe place, so I had to go and get it from the Post Office. When I got there the box only had 5 sides. It literally slid out of the box onto the floor. I'm amazed I even got it.”

“I was charged a few pence more than the RRP price listed on the product page, never got a sensible response as to why, noticed a week after order (at which time the item had still not been posted to me) that the price had been reduced by £1.00. No discount offered me, though, and item took another week to arrive. Won't use Wordery again, alas.”

“The book took a long time to arrive and the cardboard envelope was open. On top of that, my credit card was charged a fee for a foreign transaction. I won't be shopping at Wordery in future unless I can't find a title elsewhere.”
