I had no email confirmation, what I ordered said 3-5 working days so 2 weeks I emailed asking for a update which I quickly received with a tracking update saying they waiting on stock. Once despatched it did arrive promptly so that along with the response deserves 2 stars.

I hate to leave a bad review but this time service was really poor. I ordered 2 items neither of which came in the expected time. The order was split and the first to arrive had damaged packaging, luckily no damage inside and I recognise this was the carriers fault. The second item failed to arrive in the stated time and I had to contact customer services. I was told that there had been a supply problem and an alternative supplier was supplying but the delivery date would be put back. I had had no communication regarding this. The item did eventually arrive but not until I had to contact customer service again. I had hoped that Wordery would provide an ethical alternative to Amazon but I would think twice before ordering again.

The reason I went with Wordery was because they guaranteed next day delivery. The books arrived several days later. The books were not cheaper than other places. So would have been better to buy from someone else

I found Wordery about three years ago now when I deliberately searched for an alternative to Amazon. I have been a regular customer ever since and have been really pleased with it. So much so I began to recommend you to other people who also started using Wordery. One was purchasing regularly but then bought a hardback book for the first time which arrived damaged because of inadequate packaging. He wrote to inform you but then received another damaged item. Despite contacting Wordery again about the issue nothing was done so, regretably, he stopped buying from you. I recently purchased my first hardback - David Cameron's autobiography - and it too arrived damaged. Hardbacks cost a lot and I like to retain for future reference. Unfortunately I don't think I will therefore be buying hardbacks from Wordery going forward which is a real disappointment.

Unfortunately the book arrived damaged slightly and not in perfect cover condition. Also, a couple of the inside pages were folded over. I was tempted to send it back but needed to start reading it, so I'm just putting up with it. Very disappointed actually.

Generally I have found wordery very good, though on this occasion i was dissapointed with the online order process, such that there was a mistake with the delivery address, which although i spotted immediately after placing the order - it was impossible to alter it, even 2 minutes after, even when contacting customer support. So advise to anyone else is just to be super careful.

where should I have noticed that the Roald Dahl book was not in a standard A5 format, bit in an A4 format.

I made a mistake with my order, I received cd’s instead of books. So this money was lost to me, my grandson likes to read these books. It cost too much to send them back so I just gave them to a neighbour.

In a single order I had one incorrect book arrive, followed by a 'please rip out a page of the incorrect book and send it to us' request, the wastefulness of which was not satisfactorily justified when I queried it. In the same order another book failed to arrive because Wordery had got the publishing date wrong. Last year most of my Christmas presents came from Wordery. This year I've gone elsewhere.

I received the correct titled book but not the 40 th anniversary edition as displayed on you website, disappointed because these were intended to complete my O'Brian 40th anniversary edition collection

Only delivered 8 out Have only received 8 out of 9 Star Wars books ordered on 21st November which are for my Grandsons Christmas present. The Crystal Star was delayed but the e-mail said it would be here soon. Wordery should say if it will not be here in time for Christmas, if it does not arrive I will not use wordery again.
