On 11/12/19 I ordered copy of Poetry Pharmacy price £7.13. Hoping it would arrive for Xmas - it never did. Credit card no 4627262134353359 HSBC. very good service in the past so will continue use you and recommend you to others.

I used Wordery because it is UK based and only slightly more expensive than the US market leader. I accepted that when I misordered some time ago I should bear the cost. This time of the three books I ordered 2 were battered and one had been repaired (a new page stuck in). I paid rrp and received what would normally be considered "seconds". I guess they might respond if I raise it with them, but I will be considering alternatives, including the recently started local bookshop for pristine books and the charity shop for bashed ones in future. Oh one of the books was in perfect order and the delivery arrived quite quickly.

Order was estimated to arrive in the next 7 to 10 days but on the 9th day I received an email from Wordery saying that the order was going to be dispatched as soon as possible. I was not in a rush even though this happened during Christmas time; however the delivery time should have been more accurate and/or the email should have been sent a lot earlier.

I realized right away I had made a mistake on my order but was unable to cancel the order within seconds of placing it. Was instructed to send an email that was not answered until the next day. By that time it was too late to cancel order.

I ordered a book at a fair price that I had found hard to buy elsewhere, so was pleased about that. However, this was back in November. The book was a gift for my wife for her birthday in early December. It didn't get to me on time for this. When I enquired about this it turned out that the book had not even been received from the supplier and was now unavailable. I was not informed of this. The apologetic email said an alternative supplier had been found and the book would be on its way soon. The book didn't turn up for Christmas either and was delivered to me later than the last date on the tracking, despite the detailed tracking details I was relying on. Not a matter of a serious nature but it was annoying. I would use Wordery again because of the available books, but would have to think twice if it was for a deadline.

Your delivery service is poor I played an order in December and still do not have confirmation of has been delivered to my local Argos for collection yet

I suspect that the fault lies with the postal system not Wordery. I paid £4.99 for next day delivery before Christmas. No sign of the book by 28th, so discovered tracking (I'm 75, so not up with these things!) No card had been posted through my door although the tracking said it had. I found it eventually at a local PO, too late for Christmas! I could have had free postage and received it earlier! Not sure I want to order by post again, especially when there is often a deadline to read for a reading group.

A new hardback book arrived as a Christmas present with the white fly cover creased at the top of the front and a lot of ‘dirty’ scuff marks on the rear. This is unfortunate as it is an 800 page reference book and will be referred to often.

Books delivered on time and exactly as I anticipated in terms of standard. However to be aware wordery do set up a direct debit at the point of payment via PayPal. This is discreetly hidden in the T&Cs so please be aware. They attempted to take £224 from my account unauthorised.

I thought I had ordered a book but could find no trace of it online in my account so ordered another. Two then arrived! It would cost more to return the book than the price so pointless returning it. But I logged in with the same email address so very annoying!

Unbeknown to me I had not entered a house number when ordering a Christmas present, the item therefore never arrived, meaning I could not give the gift. Wordery did not notify me of this error or prevent me from proceeding with the order (some websites you are unable to process the order without vital information such as this). I then received an email alerting me that the item was out for delivery and then, Where did it go? There is no tracking. I am giving them two stars still however as it was my error, and to their credit they have offered a refund or replacement. It is just disappointing that this could have been prevented.

The address label had no name and the delivery note inside was so poorly printed that our receptionist had to walk round the whole office asking if anyone had ordered this book. Luckily I was in that day or I would not have got my order.

Book was delivered much later than had been predicted. Wordery have no control over or tracking of deliveries and when contacted didn't seem to care particularly, saying it would arrive sometime, if not they would refund or re-send. Not really good enough when sending as a gift!

I like the product, but it took a long time to arrive - particularly 5 working days before I even got a dispatch notification, and then another 10 days before it got here. It was too late to give to the person intended for.
