I ordered an incorrect item and emailed Customer Service to enquire how best to return and re-order and I didn't receive a reply.

Hi, I was really keen to give you my business as an alternative to the bigger online behemoths that continue to disappoint these days with poor service and (my biggest complaint) even poorer packaging that results in precious books getting damaged in transit - nothing more upsetting than opening a package to find a damaged item inside. So in this case, I was particularly disappointed to find my book arrived damaged - worse still was that it appeared that it was damaged prior to shipping (the dust jacket was scratched and slightly torn). So as of now, I'm not sure whether Wordery presents a genuine alternative to Amazon and co. or not. Admittedly I didn't contact customer service as I didn't want to be a complainer, but seeing as you sent me this survey link, I'm happy to let you know my experience and why you may not see me back in a hurry.

The envelope was a paper one ... it came is a rainy day ... how do you guys think it would keep a book dry? You guys should think in another option when sending it to the costumers.

The books came with slightly damaged covers. Perhaps shipping or storing in the facility needs to improve.

The honest feedback? There are two books very similar in this language study book (Totem A2) with almost identical front covers and, without the all-important ISBN number being clearly visible (and a real clear close up of the cover) when ordering, I ordered the wrong one. Having opened it and creased down a page before realising it was the wrong one, I didn’t feel I could return it, so ended up ordering the exact (needed) ISBN from Amazon instead. I don’t tend to go to the bother of finding out how to return things, I just don’t buy again if disappointed. Sorry.

It was a diabetes recipe book, but I am afraid most of the recipes had too higher sugar content

Poor on this occasion as my hardback book, Cambridge College Gardens, was damaged on all four corners - especially the top two. I suggest bubble wrapping or some form of corner protection before packaging. A good price is no excuse for poor packaging.

No communication that the item I had ordered was out of stock for around 2 weeks after I ordered. Thus I received the order after the maximum 10 working day window expected. Disappointing service, but happy with the item.

My delivery came in 3 weeks instead of a few days and the delivery man did not even knock at my home to deliver my books and I had to way 3 more days to find out where my books were

After paying for speedy delivery only one of the books arrived in time for Christmas. The other two did not even arrive in time for New Year, and then not together.
