Good prices; the only redeemable quality for wordery. This is literally the only good thing about them. They have always, and I cannot stress this enough, managed to frequently and consistently, stay slow with their dispatching and delivery. Almost as if they pride themselves on it? I may be horribly unlucky with every order, though I hope I will have a good experience with Wordery. One day hopefully. They only manage to disappoint me. I begrudgingly stick with them only for their prices. I would recommend BookDepository, as they know how to actually package their books and get them delivered on time. As of writing this review, it has been 10 days since I ordered 3 books, and I have been informed they have yet to be even dispatched. This makes almost half a dozen times in the last 2-4 months. Heres to another 2-4 week wait and possibly damaged books like my last 2 orders.

Ordered 22 books for Christmas gifts. Took 1 month despite 5 day time period notified. No customer service to contact. Only an email. I had to contact them three times to get a straight answer. Books were in stock but were not sent. Ordered on the 10th Dec. They were finally sent in January when Christmas was over. People got their gifts late.

Hi Akin - We apologise for the delay with your parcel, unfortunately our supplier had let us down so we tried sourcing these books from an alternative. Awful customer service. My parcel was returned to the depot ( I had to find this out for myself) but I had to chase Parcelforce myself several times as Wordery weren’t interested in sorting it out for me. They just kept telling me the parcel would be redelivered but that never happened. I wasted an entire week emailing and ringing Parcelforce and Wordery, never again, I will revert back to using amazon!

Hi - As you would've been aware we contacted you on the 8th of Jan to advise that Parcelforce were unable to deliver due to your address since it was insufficient, you then provided additional delivery information which we were then able to pass on to Parcelforce for them to re-schedule delivery again for Monday the 13th. We have just checked with them again and we're pleased to see that you received your parcel and signed for it on Mon, 13th. We believe that we tried our very best to resolve this issue for you regarding your incorrectly addressed parcel. Hi There - Unfortunately you did not order before our Christmas cut-off times since you ordered on the 20th Dec. We're sorry that your order has still not reached you now. I ordered my book with the intention of it being a Christmas gift. It showed as available. After ordering it took two weeks for the delivery time to update and this was due to the book having to be sourced from other suppliers. It then took over a month and half to arrive. There is no tracking for the packages I asked wordery about this and received the answer of “we have fantastic postal suppliers” When it did the box it was packed in was soaking wet!! The front cover of the book was damaged and torn, thankfully the pages survived with little damage, I sent an email to wordery customer service and have not received a response to date. This was almost a month ago now.

I ordered on 4th December - prior to your cutoff date for orders to Australia - and it took 7 days for you to despatch the order. Your expected delivery date of 24th December was a non event - the order arrived on 31st December just a tad too late for Christmas giving. I won't be using your company again

Hi Lianos - We're sorry you feel we did not respond to your message. I can confirm that we responded to all your emails you had sent, we were aware that you had returned your item but since this was not back in our warehouse we asked for Proof of postage so we could refund you in advance. Falsely claim to hold stock of products, which they do not. Placed an order for two items and the order got held up awaiting supplier delivery, order then got further delayed after a week and a half of waiting – had to cancel the order and get a refund. If you do not have stock ready to go it should not be listed on your website until you do. Avoid this company.

I ordered a book for my mums Christmas on the 11th of December well in advance and it said guaranteed in time for Christmas with the expected delivery dates being between the 16th and 24th of December I kept checking the progress and then on the 24th it still hadn't came and all of a sudden the expected delivery date changed on the 24th to between the 31st of December and 6th of January which was very disappointing as if I was informed that it was not going to be here for Christmas I would have cancelled and ordered elsewhere. Very disappointing not to be told it wouldn't be here when it wasnt even dispatched yet but didn't change delivery dates until later on Christmas eve when I had no other options. The book i had ordered for my mum was the first in a series that she had asked people to get her so she then couldn't read any of the other books she received until mine came as it was the first. Eventually received the book in January not good enough.

Purchased 3 items on December 6th. They stated they would arrive within 5-8 working days. The last of the 3 arrived on January 4th. Good quality products but unrealistic time scale stated.

Was told it would arrive in 5 days, my package wasn't dispatched for 20 days and didn't arrive until 23 days after placing the order.
